Se describen, en primer lugar,
los procedimientos de selección, en segundo lugar, los criterios de organización documental y, en tercer lugar, la estructura de categorías empleadas.

DATASET EINSTEIN WORKED HIS SOCKS OFF CONCEPTIONS OF INTELLIGENCE

There is vast amount of research that links implicit theories of intelligence with
several learning-relevant variables in both learners and teachers alike. However, there is a gap in the literature, as there is almost no research done with university teachers. Furthermore, most scientific research polarizes incremental and fixed views of intelligence in spite of data that show there is heterogeneity in participants’ views.
This study explores the implicit theories of intelligence of university teachers. The sample comprised 20 university teachers (10 men and 10 women) from the University of Seville. Four participants were selected from each field of knowledge,
according to the category system in place at the university in question, namely:
Arts and Humanities (A&H), Sciences (S), Health Sciences (HS), Social and
Legal Sciences (S&LS), and Engineering and Architecture (E&A). Also, the
selection process ensured that half the participants had less than 15 years'
teaching experience at the university and the other half more than 15 years'
experience. A semi-structured interview called "Views on Intelligence
within the Educational Field" was designed. Participants were asked to express their opinión about several small vignettes regarding intelligence. The instrument comprises short cases or vignettes, highlighting different dimensions of intelligence. We identified 12 relevant dimensions in which a view on intelligence could be expressed and contextualized. They were: Control, Heredity, Effort, Culture, Training, Critical Period, Context, Expectations, Associated Qualities, People, Gender, and Diversity of Intelligence.
Data from interviews were analysed employing a category system designed to capture heterogeneity. The utterances were segmented and analyzed using a coding manual. From the units of meaning extracted from the participant’s responses, we
constructed 116 different categories related to intelligence. These categories
were later organized into 18 different topics, as several themes arose from the
interviews. These topics were: Effort, Genetic Influence, Development in
Non-Specific Terms, Global Environment, Formal Education, Culture,
Activities, Teacher Influence, Parental Influence, Developmental
Characteristics, Motivational and Emotional Influence, Others’ Expectations
Influence, Own Expectations Influence, Other Personal Characteristics
Influence, Characteristics Associated to Intelligent People, Gender, Presence
of Intelligence in Activities Outside Academic Fields, and Social and
Emotional Intelligence.
Finally, an upper-level hierarchical categorization was developed, where
different categories were put together taking into account different criteria in
order to obtain global results. These categories are Global Influences of
Change (all categories that relate to modifiability of the intelligence), Specific
Influences of Change (all categories that expresses the relation of something
specific on intelligence), Non-Specific Influences of Change (all categories
that expresses that intelligence can or cannot be modified, but not telling how),
Individual Influences of Change (all categories related to the individual’s
actions and characteristics linked to intelligence malleability), Environmental
Influences of Change (all categories related to the environment that may or
may not affect the development of intelligence), and Total Genetic Influence

The dataset includes the raw data from the clinical score and flow cytometry analyzes carried out in the work titled " Melatonin synergistically potentiates the effect of methylprednisolone on reducing neuroinflammation in the experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis mouse model of multiple sclerosis".
This study shows the protective synergistic effect of co-treatment with melatonin and methylprednisolone on reducing the severity of EAE by decreasing CD4+ lymphocytes, B cells, macrophages and dendritic cells in the CNS, as well as modulating the population of infiltrated T and B cells toward regulatory phenotypes to the detriment of pro-inflammatory effector functions. In addition, treatment with melatonin from the clinical onset of EAE improves the natural course of the EAE and the response to a subsequent treatment with methylprednisolone in a later relapse of the disease.
Eight-week-old female C57BL/6N mice were immunized immunization with 100 μg of MOG35–55 (Cambridge Research Biochemicals, Cleveland) emulsified in CFA (Sigma) containing 50 μg of heat-killed Mycobacterium tuberculosis (H37Ra, ATCC 25177) by subcutaneous injection in both hind legs and two doses of intraperitoneal pertussis toxin (200 ng/day) (List Labs, California) on days 0 and 2 post-induction. Animals were randomly divided to receive melatonin at a concentration of 80 mg/kg and/or methylprednisolone at a concentration of 40 or 160 mg/kg in different treatment regimens.
Mice were sacrificed at the peak of the disease (day 15 after induction) and after perfusion, the CNS was collected, homogenized and enzymatically dissociated with 1.87 mg/ml of collagenase IV (Worthington) and 0.25 mg/ml of DNase I (AppliChem) for 35 min at 37°C to obtain a suspension of single cells. Subsequently, a 37%:70% discontinous percoll gradient was carried out to isolate CNS-infiltrating mononuclear cells.
To assess the profile of infiltrated immune cells in the CNS, cells were stained for the following antibodies against surface markers: CD45, CD4, CD8α, CD19, CD11b, CD11c, CD44, CD62L, B220, CD138, PD-1 (CD279), CTLA-4 (CD152), FAS (CD95), and CD25. DATASET FOR ARTICLE EFFECT OF A CHANGE IN THE CACL2/PECTIN MASS RATIO ON THE PARTICLE SIZE, RHEOLOGY AND PHYSICAL STABILITY OF LEMON ESSENTIAL OIL/W EMULGELS

A three-step (rotor-stator-microfluidization-rotor stator) protocol was used to prepare 15% lemon essential oil in water emulgels using a mixture of Tween 80 and Span 20 surfactants as low molecular mass emulsifiers and 0.4% low-methoxyl citrus peel pectin as a gelling agent. Ca2+ was used as a gel-promoting agent. Different CaCl2/pectin mass ratio values from 0.3 to 0.7 were used. Emulgels showed a microstructure consisting of oil droplets embedded in a sheared gel matrix, as demonstrated by bright field optical microscopy. Laser diffraction tests showed multimodal particle size distributions due to the coexistence of oil droplets and gel-like particles. Multiple light scattering tests revealed that the physical stability of emulgels was longer as the CaCl2/pectin mass ratio decreased and that different destabilization mechanisms took place. Thus, incipient syneresis became more important with increasing CaCl2 concentration, but a parallel creaming mechanism was detected for CaCl2/pectin mass ratio values above 0.5. Dynamic viscoelastic and steady shear flow properties of the emulgels with the lowest and highest CaCl2/pectin mass ratio values were compared as a function of aging time. The lowest ratio yielded an emulgel with enhanced connectivity among fluid units as indicated by its wider linear viscoelastic region, higher storage modulus, loss modulus and viscosity values, and more shear thinning properties than those of the emulgel formulated with the highest CaCl2/pectin mass ratio. Cross-cultural differences in autobiographical memory (AM) are associated with cultural variations. in models of the self and parental reminiscing style, but not many studies have analysed the relationship between AM and specific cultural practices such as formal schooling. Theoreticians like Greenfield (2009), Kağitçibaşi (2005) and Keller (2007) have considered formal schooling as an engine towards the model of independence; however, the empirical evidence in this regard is inconclusive: while some studies found evidence of a relation between formal schooling and characteristics of AM, others did not. To solve this inconsistency, the present study compared orally narrated childhood memories of Mexican adults with three different levels of education (from rudimentary literacy to university). Results support a relationship between formal schooling and AM in the predicted direction: More educated participants reported longer, more specific and more self-oriented memories than those with less schooling experience did. Some gender differences were also observed, with males generally reporting more individually and less socially oriented memories than females, except for university level participants. We conclude that these results support Greenfield’s theory about formal schooling as a sociocultural factor that promotes the cultural pathway to independence, as well as complexity and context-boundedness of gender differences in AM. The dimensions of analysis of the responses included in the Dataset are described in the Coding Manual., Given that previous evidence about the relationship between formal schooling and AM is not conclusive, we have carried out a replication and extension of the study by de la Mata et al., (2016). As in the previous study, the sample consisted of Mexican adults with the three different levels of formal schooling (literacy only, primary school, and university degree). Besides practical reasons, the choice of Mexican participants was 11 due to the ease of access to a sample of adults with a very low level of formal education (the literacy level). In the present study, we have introduced two main changes: we asked for three memories from childhood (instead of the earliest memory) and have extended the sample to 90 participants (instead of 60). This allowed us to also analyse gender differences and the interaction between educational background and gender. In the present study, the participants were asked to orally narrate three memories from their childhood. The analysis used several characteristics of the memories as dependent measures: memory volume (measured as the number of words in the memory), specificity, content (social vs. individual), autonomous orientation, individual-social orientation (in terms of self-others ratio) and self-focusing. Most of these measures have been extensively used in previous research (see, for instance, Wang, 2001, 2004, and de la Mata et al., 2016) and allowed us to analyse some aspects of autobiographical memories (e.g., autonomy and relatedness) which are also central to self-construal. Age and gender were controlled across educational levels. The dimensions of analysis of the responses included in the Dataset are described in the Coding Manual., v.1
