Estudio de algunos indicios cupríferos en la Depresión Geológica del Ebro (Bages, Cataluña)

This short communication is based on the research developed on three cupriferous traces in the Catalonian area of Bages. These three traces are found among the tertiary materials of the Artés formation belonging to the Ebro Geological depression in the area corresponding to the Central Depression. These three cases are about «stratabound» mineralisations, whose origin are as a consequences of a precipitation of Cu, in sulphide form, carried by continental waters (in the shape of soluble sulphides). Later, these sulphides formed in reductant environments get oxidized in presence of calcite, becoming then carbonates

This study has been centred on some cupriferous indications, situated on mesozoic out crops, belonging to Purbeck-Weaid Fades and placed in the Cameros Sierra in the Iberian System. In everycase, they are mineralitzaciones associated with a «red-beds», and unrolled on the continental reddish level of Purbeck-Wealds Facies. The indications are related to the presence of rich levels in organic matter. They sometiomes contitute small carbonaceous nivels. Among the cooper minerals there are a lot of carbonates and, in special way, the malachite

The present work has been developed about three indications ofCu, lo calised en the region of Solonés, in the localities of Riner and Clariana. The three cases are situed among the materials of Formation Solsona, which refil/ in some part the Ebro Geological Depression, in tre area corresponding to the Centra/ Depression. This formation has predominant detritus character, and part it is formed by fluvial depossits. In all the cases, lt's about mineralisations the kind of stratabound, formed by the resultat of a precipitation of Cu as sulphide, iñ reducter ambbients, transorted by continental waters in form de soluble sulphate, and alterwards oxidized to malachite

In this communication, we will do a brief description of the cupriferous mineralizations associated to the red-beds, and placed between the sandy stretch of Inferior Triassic, in the municipal terms of Olesa de Montserrat and Esparraguera, in the district of the Baix LLobregat, in the region of Barcelona, in Catalunya. These mineralizations are placed between the materials that take part of the Serralada Prelitoral Catalana, in the Cadena Costanera Catalana, in the contiguities of the Llobregat River

El "Ecomuseu del riu Anoia", un instrumento didáctico para la enseñanza de la Geología

A través de esta comunicación, intentaremos dar a conocer nuestro proyecto entorno al futuro «ECOMUSEU DEL RIU ANOIA». Asimismo, nos referiremos a las posibilidades didácticas que vemos en relación al mismo. Este futuro museo al aire libre, se sitúa en la comarca de Anoia (Catalunya Central), situada en la región de Manresa, a lo largo del río que da nombre a la comarca, por los términos municipales de: ñe ra , Vallbona d'A noia, Capellades i la Robla de Claramunt, dados de E a O. En este museo, se intentan preservar y mostrar un conjunto de formaciones geológicas de primera magnitud, y de un elevado contenido didáctico a nuestro entender. Así, la zona de cárcavas de «les Landes», en ñera; los afloramientos de «sauló» de Vallbona d 'Anoia; los acantilados travertínicos y el «Abríc Romaní», de Capellades; y cabalgamiento de la Pobla de Claramunt, Trough this communication , we will try to give a knowledge of our project around the future ECOMU5EUM OF THE RIVER ANOIA. Likewise, we will refer to the didactic possibilities that we see in it. This future museum in the open air, is placed in the territory of Anoia -Central Catalonia -, situated in the region of Manresa, along the river which denominate that territory, in the municipal terms of: Riera, Vallbona d'Anoia, Capellades and la Pobla de Claramunt, situated from Est to West. In this museum, the y try to preserve and show a joint of geological formations of the first magnitude with a high didactic content to our understanding. So that, the zone of band-land of «the Landes», in ñera; the outcrop of «sauló» (coarse sand) in Vallbona d'Anoia; the travertinic cliffs and the «Abric Romani» in Capellades; and the overlap of la Pobla de Claramunt

Este trabajo describe qué se entiende por una persona alfabetizada en ciencias de la Tierra y selecciona los conocimientos básicos que debería poseer todo estudiante al finalizar la educación obligatoria, de forma que pueda disponer de una idea global sobre cómo funciona el planeta en que vive. Formula las diez ideas clave que sintetizan esos conocimientos básicos y los conceptos, principios y teorías que las sustentan, así como los procedimientos utilizados para construir estos conocimientos, para refutarlos o validarlos. La propuesta está pensada desde una perspectiva holística, que entiende la Tierra como un sistema en el que se producen interacciones entre sus componentes. Entre ellas se destacan las que tienen lugar entre la humanidad y el planeta., This article defines what is meant by Earth Science Literacy, and describes the basic knowledge every student should have about it when finishing his/her secondary education, so that he/she can have an overall idea of how our planet works. This basic knowledge, as well as the concepts, principles and theories they are based on are synthesized in ten Big Ideas. The procedures that are used in order to build up, refute or validate this knowledge are put forward. The proposal stems from a holistic perspective in which the Earth is understood as a system where interaction takes places between its components, the stress being on the interaction between mankind and the planet.
