CREDIT AND PROPERTY RIGHTS AMONG SMALLHOLDERS OF THE GIRONA REGION (1768-1773)
- Congost, Rosa
- Garcia-Orallo, Ricard
- Saguer i Hom, Enric
Supplementary materials of the article "Seeing Credit and Property Rights from Below. The Experience of Catalan Smallholders in the Eighteenth Century". The aim is to examine the participation of the 'treballadors' of the second half of the 18th century in the credit and land markets, as well as to evaluate the impact of the 1750 decree that reduced the interest rate of the censals from 5% to 3%. An important part of the material comes from an ongoing project of automatic transcription of the books of the Registry of Deeds of Girona. We have only worked with the first six years (1668-1773, 13 books) because from 1774 onwards, the Registry of Girona was fragmented and the books corresponding to the separate territories have not been preserved. The material available is made up of four different databases containing:
(1) the credit operations recorded between 1768 and 1773;
(2) the 3,604 living annuities (censals) recorded in 1775, by order of the Reial Audiència de Catalunya, specifying the date of creation;
(3) land sales and emphyteutic contracts (including sub-emphyteusis and 'rabasses mortes') recorded between 1768 and 1773;
(4) the aggregate values per municipality of sales and censals per 1000 inhabitants, used to estimate the correlation between the two variables., Material complementari de l'article "Seeing Credit and Property Rights from Below. The Experience of Catalan Smallholders in the Eighteenth Century".
(1) Les operacions de crèdit enregistrades entre 1768 i 1773;
(2) els 3.604 censals vius enregistrats el 1775, per ordre de la Reial Audiència de Catalunya, amb especificació de la seva data de creació;
(3) Les operacions de compravenda de terra i els contractes d'establiment emfitèutic (inclosos els subestabliments i les rabasses mortes) enregistrats entre 1768 y 1773;
(4) els valors agregats per municipi de compravendes i censals per cada 1000 habitants, utilitzats per estimar la correlació entre ambdues variables.

REPLICATION DATA FOR: GAS-PHASE PHOTOCATALYTIC CO2 REDUCTION TO ETHANE VIA EDOT-BASED TRIMERS
- Li, Chunyu
- Liguori, Nicoletta
This dataset contains time-resolved transient absorption spectroscopy measurements of 4,7-bis(thieno[3,4-b][1,4]dioxin-5-yl)benzo[c][1,2,5]thiadiazole (EBE), a donor–acceptor–donor-type conjugated organic molecule. The data were acquired to capture the ultrafast excited-state dynamics of EBE in solution following photoexcitation at 480 nm. The dataset includes differential absorption spectra recorded over femtosecond to 172 nanosecond timescales, providing insight into the lifetimes and spectral signatures of photoexcited states. Processed data files are provided in standardized formats suitable for further kinetic analysis and spectral deconvolution (2D dataset). Also the raw data is readable using Glotaran. The dataset supports studies of charge transfer processes, excited-state relaxation, and structure–property relationships in π-conjugated systems.

- Avila, Aitor
- Pérez Albert, Yolanda
- Alberich, Joan

RAW ANALYTICAL DATA FROM AN EXPERIMENTAL TRIAL IN GILTHEAD SEA BREAM JUVENILES FED WITH OR WITHOUT AN OLIVE JUICE EXTRACT RICH IN HYDROXYTYROSOL
- Capilla Campos, Encarnación
- Navarro Álvarez, Isabel
- Balbuena-Pecino, Sara
Raw analytical data obtained from an experimental trial in which gilthead sea bream juveniles were fed with or without an olive juice extract rich in hydroxytyrosol as an additive (0.52 g HT/kg feed) in a high-fat (24% lipids) diet and that was administered at a standard (3% of total biomass in the tank) or restricted ration (40% reduction) for 9 weeks. Data from bone-derived cells from fish fed the diets at a standard ration after 3 and 9 weeks of the trial and measured at day 20 of culture development.
Growth data, IGF-1 plasma levels and gene expression in liver, bone and white muscle of gilthead sea bream from an in vivo dietary experiment; and, proliferation and mineralization data from bone-derived cultured cells from the same fish.

REPLICATION DATA FOR: SPATIOTEMPORAL EXCITON TRACKING WITH A SPAD CAMERA

The SPAD camera,47 as shown in Figure 2a, is a multipurposesingle-photon counting image sensor that utilizes a 32 × 64array of 30 μm diameter SPADs arranged in a 150 μm pitchsquare grid. Each pixel includes the necessary digitalelectronics for photon counting and features a very low noiselevel of 100 cps. Additionally, a microlens array optimizes thecollection efficiency, achieving a fill factor of up to 80% andhigh photon detection efficiency in the visible region, with amaximum of about 50% at around 410 nm. Three integratedcounters within each pixel can be enabled within a user-definedtemporal window (gate signal). By using two gate pulsesslightly shifted in time, a time resolution better than 200 ps canbe achieved by simply computing the difference between thetwo counters, effectively isolating the photons detected withinthe specific time interval defined by the shift. Because eachpixel has separate counters, we need to account for variationsin the gate pulse arrival time. In Figure 2b, we show thedifference in arrival time across the chip, which can be an up to300 ps delay between the opposite edges. This variation mustbe corrected to retrieve the full 200 ps time resolution whenperforming spatiotemporal measurements (Figure 2b, inset).The optical setup is depicted in Figure 2c. Basically, it can beunderstood as an inverted wide-field fluorescence microscope,with the only difference being that a transmission mask isplaced one focal length away of lens L in the excitation path,which is imaged on the sample. By changing this mask we caneasily switch from a diffraction-limited point excitation (using a20 μm pinhole) to a high frequency sine-like excitation (byusing a 20 lines/mm amplitude diffraction grating), asrepresented in Figure 2d. This allows the achievement ofdifferent super-resolution strategies (as we will discuss later) inthe same setup and in a very convenient manner.A high NA (1.4, oil immersion) microscope objective is usedboth to excite and to collect the photoluminescence from thesample. A 90/10 (T/R) beamsplitter is used to separate theexcitation and detection paths instead of the more traditionaldichroic mirror in order to achieve high sample (wavelength)flexibility. A microscopy tube lens (Thorlabs TTL200-A) isused to generate an image of the sample on an intermediateplane. Because of the large pixel pitch of the SPAD array, anadditional telescope is required to achieve the requiredmagnification. For this purpose, a 10x (Olympus NA 0.25)microscope objective was used together with a 600 mmachromat lens, leading to an overall magnification of 2000x oran equivalent pixel size in the sample of 75 nm. As anillumination source, a supercontinuum laser (NKT PhotonicsSuperK Extreme) is used. A 5 nm bandpass filter is used toselect the desired excitation wavelength. Figure 2e representsthe pulse scheme used in the experiment. An electronic triggerpulse is obtained from the laser controller, which is then fed toan adaptive computing board (Red Pitaya, STEMlab 125-14),in charge of generating the two gate pulses. By electronically scanning these two delay pulses, a full movie can be obtained,showing the spatiotemporal dynamics of our sample. Noticethat the camera design circumvents the need for beam-scanning optics, typically required in conventional setups.Instead, it captures spatiotemporal data across the entire regionof interest simultaneously, providing a major advantage inspeed and greatly simplifying the experimental setup, which iscompletely free of moving parts
