NUMERICAL MODEL FOR SIMULATING CO2 INJECTION IN DEEP VOLCANIC AREAS
- Vilarrasa, Víctor
This dataset is composed of the input files of the numerical model for simulating CO2 injection in deep volcanic areas. The file “GCS_volcanoes_gen.dat” contains the input data of the model, including material properties, initial and boundary conditions and the time intervals. The file “GCS_volcanoes_gri.dat” includes the information on the mesh. The “root.dat” includes the name of the model. To run the simulation, just execute the Code_Bright executable “Cb_v9_3.exe” in a folder that contains the three input files and the executable., This dataset is composed of the input files of the numerical model for simulating CO2 injection in deep volcanic areas. MODELLING PEST DYNAMICS UNDER UNCERTAINTY IN PEST DETECTION: THE CASE OF THE RED PALM WEEVIL. BIOLOGICAL INVASIONS [DATASET]

- Martínez, Olga
- Ginard, Santiago
- Tavecchia, Giacomo
The data file contains data on Canary Island date palms Phoenix canariensis located in public gardens within Palma city and monitored between 2011 and 2017. We coded yearly observations on each palm (first seven columns on the excel file) into individual histories using the four following codes: 1 = palm tree apparently healthy (i.e. with no signs of weevil infestation); 2 = palm tree infested by red palm weevil and treated with a partial pruning (i.e. curative treatment); 3 = palm tree infested by red palm weevil and treated with a total cut (i.e. destructive treatment);0 = palm tree that no longer exist due to a destructive treatment applied the previous year. Columns 8 to 15 indicate the individual covariates used as linear predictors of infestation probabilities: the number of palms (P. canariensis and P. dactylifera) within a 500 m radius from each palm monitored. We sorted palms into public (“public”, i.e. those directly managed by the city council) and private (“priv”), differentiating in this last case between palms under the responsibility of other governmental entities (e.g. schools, namely “ent”) and those belonging to particular owners in private areas (e.g. hotels or other private gardens, namely “part”)., This dataset was used to analyze the infestation probabilities of Canary Island date palms by Red palm weevils., We acknowledge financial support through projects ‘Vicenç Mut’ PD/003/2016 and Ramón y Cajal RYC-2017- 22796., Peer reviewed

- Saavedra, J.
- Rejas, M.
- Rodriguez-Gonzalez, A.
- Aulinas, M.
This dataset contains analytical data of whole rock as well as of mineral macrocrysts and microcrysts, and glasses of the Pleistocene shoshonitic San Jerónimo and Negro de Chorrillos volcanoes in the Puna, Central Volcanic Zone of Andes (NW Argentina). Whole rock major and some trace elements (Ba, Cr, Ni, Rb, Sr, V, Y, Zn and Zr) were determined by X-ray fluorescence (XRF) spectrometry at the Scientific and Technological Centers of the University of Barcelona (CCiTUB). Additional trace elements (Nb, Ta, Cs, Hf, Pb, Th, U and the rare Earth elements or REE) were analysed by High Resolution-Inductively Coupled Plasma-Mass Spectrometry (HR-ICP- MS) at the Laboratory of Geochemistry labGEOTOP (ICTJA, CSIC, Barcelona). The major composition of olivine, pyroxenes, phlogopite, feldspars, spinel, and apatite as well as of glasses were analysed in situ at the CCiTUB using an electron microprobe analyser (EMPA). The dataset contains also a compilation of whole-rock major and trace elements concentrations, and isotope ratios of San Jerónimo and Negro de Chorrillos volcanoes and other shoshonitic centres of the Puna from published data., Project QUECA (ref. - Ayarza, P.
- Carbonell, Ramón
The CIMDEF experiment consists on two NW-SE to N-S oriented deep seismic reflection transects and one E-W oriented in the W of Spain. It aimed to sample the Variscan Central Iberian Zone. This transect was designed to be the northward continuation of the ALCUDIA seismic profile, EU - EIT Raw Materials, 17024_20170331_92304. SURVIVAL AND GROWTH OF MEDITERRANEAN WOODY PLANTS FROM EXPERIMENTAL COMMUNITIES IN A RESTORATION CONTEXT [DATASET]
- Rodríguez, Alejandro
Monitoring of an experimental plantation of Mediterranean woody species during four years after planting. Information includes plant location, experimental plot, density, species mixture, annual survival, annual growth, and categories of plant vigor. Plant growth is derived from linear measurements: height, crown diameter, and basal diameter., The dataset was used for analyzing the effect of plant density and species composition in the neighborhood on survival and relative growth rates of planted focal individuals, Data collection was funded by the Andalusian Department of Environment and the Andalusian Department of Innovation, Science and Enterprise (P06-RNM-01903) and the European Regional Development Fund. Data processing was funded by the Spanish National Research Agency (AEI; CGL2016-75205-R) and the European Regional Development Fund., Peer reviewed

These cruises sampled CALIBERIA station, located at 42º05´ N, 9º23´ W (~350 m depth). A CTD (Seabird 911) equipped with fluorescence, oxygen, turbidity and transmittance sensors was used for these hydrographic cruises. Additionally, an oceanographic rosette with 12 Niskin bottles was casted during each cruise to collect discrete seawater samples at different depths, This work has been funded by RAIA: ‘Observatorio oceánico del margen Ibérico’ (INTERREG 2009/2011; 0313/RAIA/E) and RAIA.co: ’Observatorio marino del margén ibérico y del litoral’ (INTERREG 2011/2013; 052/RAIA.co/1E) funded by European Union; EXCAPA: Vertical export of biogenic matter in the coastal upwelling system of NW Iberian Peninsula (Xunta de Galicia 10MDS402013PR) and CALIBERIA: Calibration of several proxies along the NW Iberian margin: Improvement of the paleoceanographic proxies (PTDC/MAR/102045/2008, FCT Portugal), No
