Data from the article "A. Losada, G. Facundo, M. Garcia, F. Ortin. Mining Common Syntactic Patterns used by Java Programmers. Latin America Transactions, Volume 20(5), pp. 753-762, 2022. https://doi.org/10.1109/TLA.2022.9693559", Open source code repositories provide massive data as programs that have been used to develop different tools. These kinds of works have been included in the active Big Code and Mining Software Repositories research fields. Although different machine learning works already classify the syntactic constructs used by programmers, there are no reports about the most common syntactic patterns used by Java programmers. In this article, we describe a system we build to provide such a report. Our system retrieves the syntactic patterns used by Java programmers, distinguishing those utilized by experts and beginners. We also present the anomalies found in the usage of different syntactic constructs. We modify the OpenJDK compiler to double the syntactic information included in its Abstract Syntax Tree (AST), define a mechanism to translate ASTs into n-dimensional vectors, combine the information of different syntax constructs to build heterogeneous patterns, and apply the Frequent Pattern Growth algorithm to mine the syntactic patterns as association rules. The mined patterns allow expressing hierarchical subpatterns connected to one another, providing a high level of expressiveness., This work has been partially funded by the Spanish Department of Science, Innovation and Universities: project RTI2018-099235-B-I00. DATA DOCUMENTATION FOR: A CONTINUOUS-FLOW PROTOCOL FOR THE SYNTHESIS OF ALKENYL THIOETHERS BASED ON THE PHOTOCHEMICAL ACTIVATION OF HALOGEN-BONDING COMPLEXES
- Plaza Martinez, Manuel
FROM THE ARTICLE: AN EFFICIENT AND SCALABLE PLATFORM FOR JAVA SOURCE CODE ANALYSIS USING OVERLAID GRAPH REPRESENTATIONS
- Rodríguez Prieto, Óscar
- Mycroft, Alan
- Ortín Soler, Francisco|||0000-0003-1199-8649
Data from the article "O. Rodriguez-Prieto, A. Mycroft, F. Ortin. An Efficient and Scalable Platform for Java Source Code Analysis using Overlaid Graph Representations. IEEE Access (8), pp. 72239-72260, 2020. https://doi.org/10.1109/ACCESS.2020.2987631", Although source code programs are commonly written as textual information, they enclose syntactic and semantic information that is usually represented as graphs. This information is used for many different purposes, such as static program analysis, advanced code search, coding guideline checking, software metrics computation, and extraction of semantic and syntactic information to create predictive models. Most of the existing systems that provide these kinds of services are designed ad hoc for the particular purpose they are aimed at. For this reason, we created ProgQuery, a platform to allow users to write their own Java program analyses in a declarative fashion, using graph representations. We modify the Java compiler to compute seven syntactic and semantic representations, and store them in a Neo4j graph database. Such representations are overlaid, meaning that syntactic and semantic nodes of the different graphs are interconnected to allow combining different kinds of information in the queries/analyses. We evaluate ProgQuery and compare it to the related systems. Our platform outperforms the other systems in analysis time, and scales better to program sizes and analysis complexity. Moreover, the queries coded show that ProgQuery is more expressive than the other approaches. The additional information stored by ProgQuery increases the database size and associated insertion time, but these increases are significantly lower than the query/analysis performance gains obtained., This work has been partially funded by the Spanish Department of Science, Innovation and Universities: project RTI2018-099235-B-I00. MONOSTATIC MICROWAVE IMAGING SETUP THAT INCLUDES THE CHARACTERIZATION OF THE FIELD RADIATED BY THE TX/RX ANTENNAS
- Alvarez Lopez, Yuri
- Las-Heras Andrés, Fernando
Dataset 01: ZIP file containing the near field radiated by the horn antenna (more precisely, the S_21 parameter, which is proportional to the measured electric field). The ZIP file has 201 *.txt files, one *.txt file per frequency (the frequency value, in MHz, is indicated on the name of each *.txt file), Dataset 02: ZIP file containing the field scattered by the targets in the imaging domain (see the image “PictureSetup.png”). The ZIP file has 201 *.txt files, one *.txt file per frequency (the frequency value, in MHz, is indicated on the name of each *.txt file), This dataset corresponds to the measurements of a monostatic microwave imaging system, collected using the facility described in [1].
The first dataset, "Escatt_meas.mat", corresponds to the field scattered by the targets shown in the picture. Two targets were considered: a 18 cm long × 14 cm diameter metallic can, and a 18 cm diameter and 4 cm thick plastic disk, placed 22 cm above the metallic floor of the facility. The size of the scattered field acquisition domain was Lx × Ly = 65 cm × 40 cm, discretized every δx,y = 10 mm (λ/2 at the center frequency of 15 GHz), and placed 1 m above the floor of the measurement facility. The Tx and Rx antennas were two Standard Gain Horn (SGH) horn antennas [2].
The second dataset, "Erad_horn.mat" is the near field radiated by the Tx and Rx Standard Gain Horn (SGH) antennas in the 12-18 GHz frequency band. The field radiated by these antennas was measured in the same 12-18 GHz frequency band, in an acquisition domain discretized also every 10 mm, placed 50 cm above the SGH aperture. The field radiated by the SGH was processed using the backward transformation algorithm described in [3] to obtain the SGH aperture fields
This dataset can be processed following the methodology described in [4],[5] (modified Delay-and-Sum algorithm) and in [6] (modified Fourier-based imaging algorithm).
