RESULTS OF THE MICREATE SURVEY ON MIGRANT CHILDREN IN CATALAN SCHOOLS

This dataset contains all the quantitative data coming from the survey implemented in ten Spanish schools during Work Packages (WP) 5, 6, and 7 of the MiCREATE project. This survey was also implemented in Slovenia, Austria, Poland, Denmark and the United Kingdom, but the results of these implementations are not included in this dataset.
MiCREATE, Migrant Children and Communities in a Transforming Europe, is a European project funded under the Horizon 2020 programme. The overall objective of the project is to stimulate inclusion of diverse groups of migrant children to schools and reception communities by adopting a child-centered approach to migrant children integration on educational and policy levels. The dataset includes answers from both the Catalan and Spanish versions of the questionnaire. There were four questions that allowed the participants to enter text freely, and these have been cleaned up and translated to Catalan when necessary for the analysis., Aquest conjunt de dades conté totes les dades quantitatives provinents de l'enquesta implementada en deu escoles espanyoles durant els Paquets de Treball (WP) 5, 6 i 7 del projecte MiCREATE. Aquesta enquesta també es va implementar a Eslovènia, Àustria, Polònia, Dinamarca i el Regne Unit, però els resultats d'aquestes implementacions no s'inclouen en aquest conjunt de dades.

The dataset contains experimental measurements (photon counts) of a polarization-based quantum channel equipped with different configurations. This dataset has been generated within the framework of the project "Experimental Assesment of Fast Quantum Key Distribution", a project funded by the NGIatlantic.eu 3rd Open Call, which aims at deploying the EU-US Experimental Quantum Communication Laboratory (EQC Lab) with participation of Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya (UPC, as EU partner) and University of California Davis (UCDavis, as US partner).

BUILDINGS ENERGY DEMAND

The dataset consists on two files. One, called “demand”, which describes the active power demand from 10 different households, in Watts units and hourly resolution. And other, called “generation”, which describes the solar generation considering the current installed PV (photovoltaic) power in each household, in Watts units and hourly resolution. The total peak power installed is 30.5 kWp (Kilowatt-Pico).
Energy consumption profiles from file 'demand.csv' correspond to the same households than the energy production profiles from file 'generation.csv'. For example, 'C1' column in 'demand.csv' and 'G1' column in 'generation.csv' correspond to consumption and generation profiles from Household 1, respectively.
The demand dataset was provided by the DSO (Distribution System Operator). No collection/generation work done by the researchers.The solar generation profile was download from PVGIS (Photovoltaic Geographical Information System) portal, considering the location and the installed peak power of each household.
The study multiplies the data profiles (demand and generation) from the Dataset by different factors according to the scenario. Not other preprocessing than scaling the data.
The date have been produced 2018-07-01.

COLONIAL POTTERY IN MENDOZA (ARGENTINA). THE CARRASCAL LOCAL PRODUCTS

The sample studied includes 40 individuals of archaeological ceramics unearthed at the midden placed in the garden of the Church and Convent of the Order of Santo Domingo, in Mendoza City (n = 34), at the Jesuit Estancia in La Arboleda in Uco Valley (n = 4; MDZ137, 138, 144 and 148), and at the Estancia Tambillos, in the Uspallata Valley (n = 2; MDZ123 and 124). The studied sample includes 37 colonial glazed and unglazed ceramics, 2 Rojo pulido (Hispanic-Native American ceramic according to Schavelzon 2018) (MDZ133 and 134), and 1 post-Hispanic Viluco ceramic (MDZ145).

ATTITUDES, WILLINGNESS TO PAY, AND SENSORY EVALUATIONS OF CONSUMERS FOR INNOVATIVE LEGUME-BASED GNOCCHI PRODUCTS

Growing concerns about the negative impacts of animal-derived products on health, animal welfare, and the environment have driven the increasing popularity of plant-based foods. Understanding consumer preferences and acceptance is essential in this context. This study examines consumer responses to innovative legume-based flours through the development of multiple gnocchi products. The Becker-DeGroot-Marschak (BDM) mechanism was used as an auction method to assess consumers’ willingness to pay (WTP) following a hedonic evaluation test involving 127 Spanish consumers. The study revealed that most consumers demonstrate high environmental concern and substantial trust in the benefits of plant-based products, yet their attitudes toward these products remain moderate. Notably, product sampling negatively affected WTP for legume-based gnocchi. Key factors influencing WTP included education, income, financial situation, government support, environmental concerns, perceived risks, flavor, and color. This study provides initial insights into consumer attitudes and WTP for legume-based products in Spain. The findings are valuable for producers and marketers promoting environmentally sustainable food production and consumption. They also offer guidance for successfully introducing and marketing plant-based products in the Spanish market. Future research should address study limitations and further explore consumer behavior to deepen understanding in this area.

CORPUS LINGÜÍSTIC DE SIGNES CONSTRUÏTS I NO CONSTRUÏTS SIMULTÀNIAMENT DES D'UN PUNT DE VISTA DERIVATIU I LEXICALISTA EN LLENGUA DE SIGNES CATALANA (LSC)

Aquest conjunt de dades inclou un buidatge de 354 signes de diferents recursos de llengua de signes catalana i l'anàlisi lingüística fonològica i morfològica corresponent. Els morfemes i fonemes s'analitzen des d'un punt de vista simultani amb una aproximació lexicalista. L'objectiu del conjunt de dades és identificar quins paràmetres formatius de l'LSC funcionen com fonemes o morfemes i proporcionar-ne un llistat. Les anotacions inclouen la referència d'on s'ha extret el signe, el temps d'anotació o la pàgina, la glossa corresponent, la semàntica i els trets de les dues mans. Els trets de les mans inclouen la configuració, l'obertura, el lloc d'articulació, el punt d'articulació, el potencial contacte amb el cos, el moviment, l'orientació i els components no manuals (vocalització, ulls / celles, boca / llengua / dents i galtes). Aquest corpus s'ha extret de forma manual per fer una anàlisi morfològica seguint el model d'anàlisi integrat morfològic de Villaécija (2023) i identificar els límits entre un fonema i un morfema segons el nivell d'anàlisi.

CORPUS LINGÜÍSTIC DE CONSTRUCCIONS DERIVATIVES SEQÜENCIALS O COMPOSTES EN LLENGUA DE SIGNES CATALANA (LSC)

Aquest conjunt de dades inclou un buidatge de 100 signes de diferents recursos de llengua de signes catalana i l'anàlisi morfològica corresponent. Els signes juxtaposats s'entenen com potencials morfemes seqüencials que poden exercir la funció de morfema travat o lliure segons el context i la distributivitat. Aquests signes s'han buidat seguint una aproximació lexicalista dels morfemes seqüencials. L'objectiu del conjunt de dades és identificar quins morfemes lliures es poden estar gramaticalitzant fins a convertir-se en un morfema travat en llengua de signes catalana, és a dir, que presentin productivitat i aportin un significat constant a la base. Les anotacions inclouen la referència d'on s'ha extret el signe, el temps d'anotació o la pàgina, la glossa corresponent de cada signe en ordre d'articulació, la configuració de la mà, si el signe en qüestió és monomanual o bimanual i la semàntica de cadascun. En cas que hi hagi canvi en la configuració de la mà, també s'anota, així com la traducció final després de la combinació dels dos signes i comentaris pertinents. Aquest corpus s'ha extret de forma manual per fer una anàlisi morfològica seguint el model d'anàlisi integrat morfològic de Villaécija (2023) i identificar els morfemes lliures i travats signats seqüencialment.
