ANALYSIS OF SURVIVAL FOR LUNG CANCER RESECTIONS CASES WITH FUZZY AND SOFT SET THEORY IN SURGICAL DECISION MAKING [DATASET]
- Rodríguez Alcantud, José Carlos
- Jiménez López, Marcelo Fernando
- Santos-Buitrago, Beatriz
- Santos García, Gustavo
- Varela, Gonzalo
Dataset, This initial database was developed in a study of 403 patients who underwent major pulmonary resections in the Salamanca University Hospital from 1994 to 2016.
We have taken patients with known survival status and a surgical procedure other than pneumonectomy.
The variables used in our study are:
(1) Age of patient;
(2) Body mass index (abbr. BMI, expressed in kg/m^2);
(3) Existence of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (abbr. COPD);
(4) Forced vital capacity calculated percentage (abbr. FEV1%);
(5) Approach of the surgery (thoracotomy or video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery, VATS);
and (6) Presence of complications in the surgery.
The variable of mortality allows us to establish the survival of the patient.
Age is obtained from the date of birth and the date of surgery.
Body mass index is calculated based on the weight and size of the patient., The variables used in our study are:
(1) Age of patient;
(2) Body mass index (abbr. BMI, expressed in kg/m^2);
(3) Existence of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (abbr. COPD);
(4) Forced vital capacity calculated percentage (abbr. FEV1%);
(5) Approach of the surgery (thoracotomy or video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery, VATS);
(6) Presence of complications in the surgery.

TRANSIENT STABILITY CONSTRAINED OPTIMAL POWER FLOW GAMS MODEL GENERATOR ON PYTHON [DATASET]
- Ledesma Larrea, Pablo
All data are own production except for ieee118.raw, Transient Stability Constrained Optimal Power Flow (TSCOPF) is a nonlinear optimization problem used to perform economic dispatches while ensuring transient stability. This paper proposes a multi-contingency TSCOPF model that retains the dynamics of all generators and includes a transient synchronous generator dq-axis model. Program write_tscopf.py automatically reads the system data from standard PSSE raw files, builds the TSCOPF model tscopf.gms on high-level modelling system GAMS and solves it using a non-heuristic Interior Point algorithm. This approach facilitates the application of the model to a variety of systems and scenarios. Data for the New England 39 Bus System and the IEEE 118 Bus system are included.

LSI FAR INFRARED PEDESTRIAN DATASET
- Olmeda Reino, Daniel
- Premebida, Cristiano
- Nunes, Urbano
- Armingol Moreno, José María
- Escalera Hueso, Arturo de la
The database consists of FIR images collected from a vehicle driven in outdoors urban scenarios. Images were acquired with an Indigo Omega imager, with a resolution of 164x129 pixels, a grey-level scale of 14 bits, and focal length of 318 pixels. The camera was mounted on the exterior of the vehicle, to avoid infrared filtering of the windshield. Recorded images were manually annotated, where each pedestrian is labelled as a bounding box. To prevent bias introduced by border artifacts their height is subsequently upscaled by 5%. The pedestrians appear in an up-right position., The dataset is divided in two: (i) Classification dataset: positives and randomly sampled negatives with a fixed height-width ratio of (1/2) and rescaled to 64x32 pixels, and (ii) Detection Dataset: Original positive and negative images with annotations., The classification Database is divided in a Train and a Test subset. The Train set contains 10208 positives and 43390 negatives, while the Test set contains 5944 positives and 22050 negatives. The annotated bounding boxes are resized to a constant aspect ratio (w/h) = 0.5 by changing their width appropriately. Any bounding box below 10 pixels in height is ignored. The remaining bounding boxes are resized to 64x32 pixels using bilinear interpolation. The negative samples were randomly selected from images not containing pedestrians.

METEOROLOGICAL OBSERVATIONS IN GRANADA 1706-1730
- Sánchez Rodrigo, Fernando
Climatic information recorded by the physician Francisco Fernández Navarrete in Granada (southern Spain) during the first third of the 18th century. Observations are included in the book “Cielo y suelo granadino” (Sky and soil in Granada), and consist of qualitative comments relating climatic conditions to illness and diseases from 1706 to 1730, as well as instrumental observations (using an “English barometer” and a “Florentine thermometer”) from December 1728 to February 1730.

EARLY METEOROLOGICAL OBSERVATIONS IN SOUTHERN SPAIN VERSION 2
- Sánchez Rodrigo, Fernando
This dataset contains metorological observations taken in southern Spain before 1850. It is an enlargement of previous datasets "Early Meteorological Observations in Southern Spain" and "Meteorological Observations in Granada 1706-1730". It includes instrumental observations of meteorological variables (temperature, pressure, rainfall, wind direction and force, cloudiness, extrem events) as well as qualitative descriptions on weather conditions. Data from Seville, Córdoba, Jaén, Málaga, Granada, and Murcia are recorded with varied spatio-temporal resolution.

EMOSS: EARLY METEOROLOGICAL OBSERVATIONS IN SOUTHERN SPAIN
- Sánchez Rodrigo, Fernando
New meteorological data from southern Spain corresponding to the period 1785-1830. Data sources are early newspapers and medical studies interested in the influence of environment conditions on health and illness. Data correspond to five cities in the area (Cádiz, Sevilla, Málaga, Granada, and Cartagena). Around 19.000 new meteorological observations (temperature, pressure, number of rainy days, wind direction, and qualitative statements on rainfall, wind force, cloudiness, fog, and storms) are recorded.

This database contains open, harmonized, and ready-to-use global data on holdover time. Holdover time is defined as the time between lightning-induced fire ignition and fire detection. The first version of the database is composed of three data files (censored data, non-censored data, ancillary data) and three metadata files (description of database variables, list of references, reproducible examples). These data were collected through a literature review of LIW studies and some datasets were assembled by authors of the original studies, covering more than 150,000 LIW from 13 countries in five continents and a time span of a century from 1921 to 2020. Censored data are the core of the database and consist of frequency data reporting the number or relative frequency of LIW per interval of holdover time. Ancillary data provide additional information on the methods and contexts in which the data were generated in the original studies. Potential contributors to the database are encouraged to contact the corresponding author in the readme file.
