REPLICATION DATA FOR: EFFECTS OF TURBULENCE BOUNDARY CONDITIONS ON SPALART-ALLMARAS RANS SIMULATIONS FOR ACTIVE FLOW CONTROL APPLICATIONS

  • Tousi, Navid Monshi
  • Bergadà Granyó, Josep Maria
  • Mellibovsky Elstein, Fernando
Data generated for the article: Effects of turbulence boundary conditions on Spalart-Allmaras RANS simulations for active flow control applications. The Data set presented, characterizes the flow around the SD7003 airfoil with an angle of attack of 14 degrees and when Active Flow Control is implemented to modify the boundary layer separation. The turbulence model used was Spalart Allmaras, and the information the data set is showing, characterizes the results when different boundary conditions are applied. To asses the results, the information generated from the simulations using different boundary conditions is compared with the results obtained when doing a LES simulation. The data presented is providing the OpenFoam folders, 0, constant and system, as well as a folder where can be found the data of the last time simulated.

SPECIES-SPECIFIC BIOMASS DATASET OF FUNGAL FRUITING BODIES OF MEDITERRANEAN FOREST ECOSYSTEMS

  • Morera, Albert
  • Ponce, Ángel
  • Martínez de Aragón, Juan
  • Bonet Lledós, José Antonio
  • Miguel Magaña, Sergio de
Macrofungi are a diverse group of organisms essential for the functioning of natural ecosystems. Their fruiting bodies are key to their life cycle, providing insight into fungal diversity through biomass-based species abundance and facilitating the quantification of provisioning and cultural ecosystem services. However, research on the biomass of macrofungal fruiting bodies has been limited due to the significant efforts required for sampling and identification. We introduce a comprehensive database that contains both fresh and dry biomass data for 836 species and 221 genera of macrofungal fruiting bodies found in Mediterranean forest ecosystems. This database is the largest global collection of macrofungal fruiting body biomass data, featuring information from over 350,000 fruiting bodies collected over more than 25 years. It enhances presence-only databases of macrofungal fruiting bodies, supports more detailed macrofungal research, and provides a foundation for developing management strategies to conserve fungal diversity, their ecosystem services, and enhance ecosystem resilience against global changes.

OBSERVATIONAL DATASET FOR ONE YEAR: EAST AND WEST FACADES OF A UNIVERSITY BUILDING IN BARCELONA

  • Roca Musach, Marc
  • Crespo Cabillo, Isabel
  • Coch Roura, Helena
This dataset presents 9596 photos of the East and West façades of a university building in Barcelona (Spain). Images were taken every hour for one year with two identical GoPro Hero cameras. The façades are composed of a grid of 28x7 windows in the East and 28x6 windows in the West. Every window has a portion of fixed glass and an operable part for natural ventilation, and mobile solar protections (roller shutters) that users can control manually. This dataset also includes the cropped images of the individual windows, a total of 1.6M images.

REPLICATION DATA FOR "OOCYTE COMPETENCE OF PREPUBERTAL SHEEP AND GOAT OOCYTES"

  • Izquierdo Tugas, Dolors
Raw data of research article "Oocyte Competence of Prepubertal Sheep and Goat Oocytes: An Assessment of Large-Scale Chromatin Configuration and Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor Expression in Oocytes and Cumulus Cells". This study aimed to characterize two parameters related to oocyte competence, GV chromatin configuration and EGFR expression in oocytes and their cumulus cells, and to establish their relationship with follicle size and puberty status. Oocytes obtained from prepubertal goats (1–2 months old) and sheep (3–4 months old), originating from follicles smaller or larger than 3 mm, were analyzed and compared to those from large follicles in their adult counterparts. Dades brutes de l'article de recerca "Oocyte Competence of Prepubertal Sheep and Goat Goat Oocytes: An Assessment of Large-Scale Chromatin Configuration and Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor Expression in Oocytes and Cumulus Cells".

RESIDENT PARASITOID COMPLEX OF TUTA ABSOLUTA (LEPIDOPERA: GELECHIIDAE) IN NORTH‐EASTERN SPAIN

  • Denis, Carmen
  • Riudavets, Jordi
  • Gonzalez-Valero, Helena
  • Cubí, Martina
  • Matas, Montserrat
  • Rodríguez, David
  • Arnó, Judit
The dataset contains 4 data files. First and second files compiles information about natural parasitism of Tuta absoluta larvae collected during 2017–2020 in commercial tomato plots in Catalonia (Northeast of Spain). In the laboratory Tuta absoluta larvae were classified as “ectoparasitized” (with pupae, larvae or eggs of a parasitoid on them), “alive” (not ectoparasitized and still able to crawl when touched with a fine brush), or “dead” (not ectoparasitized and unable to crawl when touched with a fine brush). Third and fourth files provide the identification of adult larval parasitoids reared from the samples. This datasets helps to assess the contribution of different parasitoid species to the natural biological control of Tuta absoluta (Meyrick) (Lepidoopera:Gelechiidae).
