Texto en latín grabado en la orla del escudo elíptico que corona la puerta de entrada a la capilla de San Pedro Y San Pablo desde la nave. El texto se lee en la dirección de las agujas del reloj, comienza en la cruz superior, en el escudo situado sobre la puerta de entrada a la capilla. No habla este escudo Andújar cuando trata de la Capilla de San Pedro y San Pablo. El escudo pertenecía a los León. El texto forma parte de una oración popular medieval que se encuentra en la leyenda Dorada, "De Sancto Andrea Apostolo", de Santiago de la Vorágine., CSIC. Se encuentran pintadas en letra dorada sobre fondo negro en los lados internos de las hojas de las puertas del relicario en el Altar de la Virgen, en la capilla del Bautismo. Son tres inscripciones con texto del Apocalipsis 7:13-14 según Vulgata: cartela superior (A), lado interior de la puerta izquierda (B) y lado interior de la puerta derecha (C)., CSIC. Inscripción en cartela moldurada que ocupa la cara lateral de un sillar de piedra bajo el escudo que corona el muro frontal de la fuente de la plaza del Pilar, actualmente plaza de Enrique Hernández. La piedra se encuentra en muy mal estado de conservación, sobre todo por efectos del salitre, lo que ha afectado especialmente a la inscripción, que es casi completamente ilegible., CSIC.
