PANACEA ENVIRONMENT CORPUS N-GRAMS FR (FRENCH)

  • Dublin City University. School of Computing
This data set contains French word n-grams and French word/tag/lemma n-grams in the "Environment" (ENV) domain. N-grams are accompanied by their observed frequency counts. The length of the n-grams ranges from unigrams (single words) to five-grams. The data were collected in the context of PANACEA (http://www.panacea-lr.eu), an EU-FP7 Funded Project under Grant Agreement 248064. The n-gram counts were generated from crawled Web pages that were automatically detected to be in the French language and were automatically classified as relevant to the ENV domain. The ENV domain collection used consisted of approximately 47.3 million tokens. Data collection took place in the summer of 2011.

  • Ivorra Ordines, Pedro
Tot seguit, les ocurrències s'oganitzen atenent a la variant semàntica de significat., Corpus of intensifying comparative constructions in Catalan, Spanish, English, and French. The occurrences that make up each corpus are from the corpus manager and text analysis Sketch Engine. In each corpus, there is a table in the first page of each document containing the quantitative results of the thesis dissertation: construction’s name, the corpus name from which occurrences were extracted, its entrenchment, its polysemy, the conceptual fields of the slot X, and its productivity. After this, occurrences are classified according to the semantic variant of meaning.

PLATFORM COOPERATIVISM: CASES AND STAKEHOLDERS ANALYSIS

  • Fuster Morell, Mayo
  • Espelt, Ricard
  • Renau Cano, Melissa
This data set will include three sources of data:

1) Data that records both the web collection of 60 platform economy cases around Europe and the results of 20 interviews to platform managers and co-op workers around Europe about their organisations business models based on Multidisciplinary Balance of Platform Economy framework. The selected platforms are related to four working areas: networked hospitality, taxi services, urban food delivery and domestic services. Data is presented in two files: 01_PLATFORM_ECONOMY_CODEBOOK.ods which includes the total amount of indicators, answer options, data source used and 02_PLATFORM_ECONOMY_BBDD_ANALYSIS.ods which includes the results for each indicator are presented in anonymised way.

2) Data that frames the role of cooperatives as a potential alternative business model for the platform economy. It contains 11 semi-structured interviews to stakeholders engaged with platform cooperatives (Katuma, Smart and Fairbnb) about limits and strengths of economic performance in terms of growth, working conditions and redistribution of gains. The data is presented in three files: 03_Semi-structured interview script.txt which includes the script used by the semi-structured interviews, 04_Profiles_interviewed.rtf which contains the type of profiles interviewed and, 05_Interviews_transcriptions.txt which includes 11 out of the 12 semi-structured interviews to Katuma, Smart and Fairbnb stakeholders since one participant declined to be recorded.

3) Data from the testing of the PLUS project “Charter of Digital Work Rights” presented in the deliverable “D5.1 Charter of Digital Worker Rights”. The Charter was tested by the involved cooperatives (Katuma, Smart and FairBnb). The data is presented in four files: 06_Surveys_script.odt which includes the questionnaire, 07_survey_results_Katuma_Catalan.cvs, 08_survey_results_Fairbnb_English.cvs and 09_survey_results_Smart_French.cvs which contains the results of the surveys.

This dataset has been the base for the testing of “Charter on Digital Worker Rights” performed in the frame of PLUS project (supported by European Union Horizon 2020 Programme under the grant agreement number 822638) through a survey, unstructured and co-creation sessions with the three project pilots: Katuma, Smart and Fairbnb.

The transcriptions are provided in two formats: (1) formatted text using Markdown language in order to reproduce the the documents' original layout and (2) plaint text transcriptions., [ES] El catálogo de los documentos se ha compilado en forma de una base de datos CSV. [EN] This Dataset consists of a catalogue and transcriptions of the correspondence that Ignaz Goldziher (1850-1921) received between 1901 and 1903 in the framework of his collaboration on the book Le livre de Mohammed Ibn Toumert mahdi des almohades, published in 1903 in Algiers and promoted by the French colonial administration. The book contained the first edition of the collected writings attributed to the founder of the Almohad movement, Ibn Tūmart (d. 524/1130). The edition of the Arabic text was prepared by Jean-Dominique Luciani (1851–1932) and Goldziher contributed an introduction of some 100 pages. Goldziher wrote his text in German. Its translation was commissioned to two French orientalists: first to Edmond Doutté (1857-1926), who at some point had to withdraw from the task because of health issues, and then to Maurice Gaudefroy-Demombynes (1862-1957), who prepared the translation that was finally published. In addition, René Basset (1855-1924), professor at the École supérieure des Lettres in Algiers, refers in some of his letters to Goldziher to the work on the book.
