El presente proyecto pretende estudiar la formación autigénica de carbonatos y arcillas magnésicas mediada por microorganismos en humedales hipersalinos con las consiguientes implicaciones ambientales en el secuestro de carbono, favoreciendo una solución basada en la naturaleza para luchar contra la emisión de gases de efecto invernadero.

El proyecto se centra en analizar cómo los adolescentes perciben los sesgos presentes en la inteligencia artificial (IA) y las redes sociales (RRSS), y en desarrollar un programa educativo que los capacite para identificar y mitigar dichos sesgos. Material suplementario artículo titulado: ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS AND SUSTAINABLE BEHAVIORS OF HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS: VALIDATION OF THE HEALTHCARE ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS TOOL (HEAT), Background Climate change poses a significant challenge to public health, requiring healthcare personnel to recognize their responsibility and adopt environmentally responsible behaviors. The aim of this study was to conduct a cultural adaptation and psychometric validation of the Healthcare Environmental Awareness Tool (HEAT) to assess the level of environmental awareness, sustainable behaviors, and their relationship to healthcare professionals' health in Spain. Methods A cross-sectional observational study was conducted to translate, adapt, and validate the HEAT questionnaire for the Spanish context. The sample comprised 450 healthcare professionals from 9 Spanish hospitals. The HEAT questionnaire was validated using item response theory, specifically through the polytomous Rasch model. It is organized into three main scales: HAS (Healthcare Awareness Scale), HPEB (Healthcare Professional Ecological Behavior Scale), and PEB (Personal Ecological Behavior Scale). Each scale includes two dimensions per item derived from paired questions. The first dimension addresses the specific topic of the scale, while the second focuses on the respondent’s belief about how environmental impacts affect human health. Results The HEAT questionnaire, initially comprising 62 items, was refined to a final version of 50 items. This version demonstrated robust reliability and validity, with satisfactory fit for both items and persons. Reliability indices were: HAS-1 (0.76 for persons, 0.98 for items), HAS-2 (0.82, 0.96), HPEB-1 (0.77, 0.99), HPEB-2 (0.79, 0.94), PEB-1 (0.83, 0.99), and PEB-2 (0.87, 0.97). Internal consistency, measured using Cronbach’s α and McDonald’s ω, yielded strong results: HAS-1 (0.79), HAS-2 (0.90), HPEB-1 (0.75), HPEB-2 (0.87), PEB-1 (0.81), and PEB-2 (0.92). No significant group differences were observed, confirming the instrument’s fairness in differential item analysis. El proyecto ASISTA, ante el creciente problema del envejecimiento de la población en España, propone, con el fin de conseguir una vida más activa y saludable para las personas mayores, y en concreto luchar contra la soledad no deseada, la creación de una red de sensores inalámbricos inteligentes que conformarían un sistema complejo de procesado de información multimodal con el fin de detectar e identificar a los usuarios dentro de entornos asistenciales para facilitar los servicios ofrecidos por un sistema de Ambient Assisted Living (AAL). De esta manera, se busca conseguir, a través de los trabajos de investigación llevados a cabo en el proyecto, técnicas fiables de detección e identificación de personas dentro de entornos controlados apoyándose en la información multimodal captada por la red de sensores. La ventaja tecnológica de contar con una detección e identificación fiables permitirá que el sistema ASISTA, a la hora de ofrecer sus servicios a los sistemas AAL, así como el personal asistencial, estos estén personalizados y se pueda contar siempre con toda la información referente al usuario vinculada con el servicio ofrecido. Cabe destacar la importancia de que un usuario pueda ser identificado dentro de un entorno asistencial, ya sea una residencia de mayores o una dependencia hospitalaria, incluso en su hogar, ya que permitiría realizar seguimientos de su actividad, las posibles relaciones interpersonales o la detección de cualquier evento, permitiendo que esta información recabada esté siempre referenciada en tiempo real al individuo, posibilitando realizar evaluaciones sobre los datos captados. En concreto, el sistema ASISTA se validará con una prueba piloto en una residencia de mayores en la que se aplicará para la detección de situaciones de soledad no deseada. his corpus consists of 46,962 tweets related to the Catalan referendum, a very controversial topic in Spain due to it was an independence referendum called by the Catalan regional government and suspended by the Constitutional Court of Spain after a request from the Spanish government. All the tweets were downloaded on October 1, 2017 with the hashtags #CatalanReferendum or #ReferendumCatalan. Later, we collected features of these tweets on October 31, 2017 in order to analyze their virality.
