This dataset contains the data related to the article "An autonomous low‑cost studio to record production‑ready instructional videos" with DOI 10.1007/s11042-024-18250-8. This dataset is provided through an XLSX file with two sheets: 1) SAGA_Survey_TAM. This sheet contains 31 responses to a questionnaire based on the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), which was conducted among instructors who had used the SAGA system. 2) SAGA_Survey_Videos. This sheet contains 703 responses to a questionnaire that was conducted among the participants of a series MOOCs in order to assess the perceived technical quality of the videos recorded using the SAGA system. This dataset has been curated using data from 103 participants. The current version includes 84 subjects grouped into four sets based on their scores from the Eating Disorder Examination Questionnaire (EDE-Q) and the International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ). The sets are defined as follows:
- Set 1: Low EDEQ score and low IPAQ score
- Set 2: Low EDEQ score and high IPAQ score
- Set 3: High EDEQ score and low IPAQ score
- Set 4: High EDEQ score and high IPAQ score
During the study, participants were equipped with a Rokoko motion capture suit, a BITalino PLUX, and headphones that played modified versions of their footstep sounds. The sound manipulations were carried out under three conditions: (i) Control (C), which applied flat equalisation across frequencies; (ii) High Frequency (HF), which amplified frequencies above 1 kHz by +12 dB while attenuating frequencies of 83-250 Hz by -12 dB; and (iii) Low Frequency (LF), which amplified frequencies of 83-250 Hz by +12 dB, while attenuating frequencies above 1 kHz by -12 dB.

Con el objetivo de identificar perfiles de Homo economicus, se sometió a sesenta directivos de startups españolas a la toma de decisiones sobre situaciones hipotéticas éticamente comprometidas. Para el efecto se han combinado dos metodologías: (i) cualitativa, mediante la construcción de quince situaciones valorables conforme a los principios del «dilema de Heinz», y (ii) estadística, mediante factorización por ejes principales, clúster jerárquico y cuantificación de escala de valores sobre distancia Manhattan. Los resultados confirman tres perfiles: uno más significado con el ideal normativo kantiano, otro con un carácter más egocéntrico y un tercero que antepone los intereses del grupo a los propios. La base de datos construida es descargable.

Effect of synbiotic supplementation on the body alterations in a rat model of liver colestasis.

This dataset is supplementary material for the paper: "Synbiotic administration improves systemic and vascular alterations in rats with experimental microsurgical extrahepatic cholestasis: role of perivascular mesenteric innervation". It contains 6 tables and 7 figures.

Background

Liver cholestasis is marked by bile acid accumulation in the liver, along with renal issues, portal hypertension, and altered circulation. Previous studies suggest that synbiotics may improve systemic and hemodynamic conditions in liver diseases.

Objective

This study investigated the effects of a commercial synbiotic on gut microbiota, liver and kidney function, and vascular changes in a cholestatic rat model, focusing on nerve functions in the superior mesenteric arteries.

Methodology

Adult Wistar rats were divided into three groups: Sham-operated, Cholestatic, and Cholestatic with synbiotic supplementation for 3 weeks. Liver colestasis was induced by surgical techniques. Blood pressure was measured using tail-cuff method.Liver and renal structure were determined using histological techniques (hematoxilin-eosin tinction). Liver and renal parameters in serum were measured using spectrophotometrical techniques. Short chain fatty acids were determined through liquid chromatography. Gene expression in kidney and fecal simples were determined by qRT-PCR. Vasomotor responses in superior mesenteric artery were determined by vascular reactivity techniques (organ bath).Neurotransmitter and endotoxin releases were measured using enzymeinmunoassay and fluorescence techniques. Protein expression was measured using western blot.
