RECONOCIMIENTO DE FICHAS DE DOMINÓ MEDIANTE TÉCNICAS DE VISIÓN ARTIFICIAL
e_Buah Biblioteca Digital Universidad de Alcalá
- Herrero Gordo, David
la iluminación., the automatically identification of dominoes from images taken by a digital
camera.
To reach this objective an algorithm has been implemented in Matlab
receiving an image file (typically jpg, tiff…etc) where dominoes appear on a
green color mat.
The system is capable of identifying each of the cards so much if they
are separated as if some of them are placed together to others. In addition
technologies have been implemented to recover parts of the image lost due to
the lighting., Grado en Ingeniería en Electrónica y Automática Industrial

Abstract
Metal-catalyzed cascade processes based on hydrofunctionalization of alkynes are receiving much more attention because of their potential to provide advantageous approaches to otherwise synthetically challenging compounds. An alternative catalyst system has been found for the domino cycloisomerization/cyclocondensation reaction involving acetylenic acids and heterodinucleophiles. A CNN pincer palladium(II) complex, acting as a homogeneous catalyst, provides the corresponding polyheterocycles with a higher substrate/catalyst ratio. Other palladium sources were also tested and discarded, and a number of mechanistic studies including poisoning assays, kinetic plots, TEM images, XRD spectra and UPLC-MS analysis of reaction intermediates were conducted in order to shed light on the role of this pincer catalyst and the catalytic cycle involved in the cascade reaction. As a result, a more nuanced mechanism is tentatively proposed., This research was funded by the Basque Government (IT1405-19) and the Spanish Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness (CTQ2017-86630-P).

[Motivation]: The development of molecular markers is one of the most important challenges in phylogenetic and genome wide population genetics studies, especially in studies with non-model organisms. A highly promising approach for obtaining suitable markers is the utilization of genomic partitioning strategies for the simultaneous discovery and genotyping of a large number of markers. Unfortunately, not all markers obtained from these strategies provide enough information for solving multiple evolutionary questions at a reasonable taxonomic resolution., [Results]: We have developed Development Of Molecular markers In Non-model Organisms (DOMINO), a bioinformatics tool for informative marker development from both next generation sequencing (NGS) data and pre-computed sequence alignments. The application implements popular NGS tools with new utilities in a highly versatile pipeline specifically designed to discover or select personalized markers at different levels of taxonomic resolution. These markers can be directly used to study the taxa surveyed for their design, utilized for further downstream PCR amplification in a broader set taxonomic scope, or exploited as suitable templates to bait design for target DNA enrichment techniques. We conducted an exhaustive evaluation of the performance of DOMINO via computer simulations and illustrate its utility to find informative markers in an empirical dataset., [Availability and Implementation]: DOMINO is freely available from www.ub.edu/softevol/domino., [Contact]: elsanchez@ub.edu or jrozas@ub.edu, [Supplementary information]: Supplementary data are available at Bioinformatics online., This work was supported by the Ministerio de Educación y Ciencia of Spain (No. BFU2010-15484 and No. CGL2013-45211 to J.R. and No. CGL2012-36863 to M.A.A.)., Peer reviewed
