Şah I. Abbas’ın Bir Akdeniz Politikası Var mıydı?

Geçtiğimiz 20 yıl, Safevi tarihi üzerine yapılan araştırmalarda muazzam bir gelişmeye tanıklık etti. Yakın zamanlarda Safevi uluslararası münasebetlerine ilişkin meydana gelen gelişmeler, 16. ve 17. yüzyıllar boyunca İran’ın ilişkilerinin ve Akdeniz’in kuzey kıyıları boyunca yer alan ülkeler de dâhil olmak üzere Avrupa ile bağlantılarının benzeri görülmemiş bir seviyeye ulaştığı sonucuna yol açtı. Bununla birlikte, Akdeniz’e yönelik bu bilinçli Safevi politikası hakkında hemen hemen hiç tartışma yok. Bu makale, Şah I. Abbas’ın, zihnindeki belirgin bir Akdeniz politikası ile hareket etmiş olabileceğini göstermek için İspanyol vesikalarının yeniden gözden geçirilmesini öneriyor.

Огляд наукових досліджень в галузі вивчення напружено-деформованого стану трубобетонних конструкцій, Review of Research in the Field Study of the Stress-Strain State of Concrete-Filled Structures

The paper presents an analytical review of the literature, which reflects the results of national and foreign scientific researches aimed to studying the features of the composition and dosage of components of self compacting concrete as one of the most promising aggregate for modern composite structures. In addition, the results of numerical and experimental researches of stress-strain state of composite structures (concrete-filled tubes) under the influence of various power factors, have been considered. The description and features of existing analytical methods for the determination of the bearing capacity of the considered structures under compression and bendings, have been given. The analysis of deformation model of confined concrete in a composition of the composite structure, as well as non-linear models of steel works with their distinctive features, has been carried out. The main approaches to the finite element modeling of composite structures have been determined.

Towards a global humanistic and holistic concept for teaching and learning L2 in immersion contexts

This article draws on concepts fundamental to rhetoric (personal development) in relation to the current humanistic understanding of teaching. The basic principles on which the teaching and learning processes are built are discussed, as are literary genres, discourse types, and pragmatics. It will be shown how all these general principles can be applied to language teaching and, finally, the conclusion will suggest that holistic humanistic language and teaching concepts require a pragmatics reference frame rather than other linguistic perspectives., En este trabajo se ha puesto en relación los preceptos de la retórica, como psicagogía que pretende la educación integral del individuo, con la concepción de la enseñanza en la actualidad desde bases humanísticas. Se describen los principios básicos sobre los que se sustenta el proceso de enseñanza/aprendizaje desde presupuestos teóricos; se establece cómo los géneros literarios, los tipos de discurso y las consideraciones comunicativas están en coherencia con los planteamientos de la Pragmática; se demuestra cómo esos principios generales son de aplicación a la enseñanza de lenguas; y, para terminar, se concluye en que un concepto humanístico y holístico del lenguaje y de la enseñanza requiere de un marco de referencia pragmático más que de las perspectivas de otras disciplinas lingüísticas.
