[EN]The aim of this work is to study how the environmental conditions affect the wood quality. For that purpose, a monitoring system provided with temperature and humidity sensors and developed by the authors, was deployed during 6 months in 3 different places with diverse environmental conditions: Madrid, Seville and Avila. This system is based on WSNs using Iris motes developed by MEMSIC Company. This platform was selected mainly because it is an open source wireless sensor platform with open access hardware and software designs. On each city, a wireless system composes of 2 motes is being used. One mote is configured as a base station connected to a laptop for receiving the data, and the other one is sensorized to monitor every 5 minutes with 8 SHT75 sensors. The internal temperature and humidity values in two different basins made of wood, pine and fir, and in different orientations (N,S,E,W) were obtained for six months. The system is controlled remotely using the teamviewer desktop and saving the data in the dropbox file backup. [EN] The Policy_Making dataset presents the answers of Andalusian interviewees on how they want political decisions to be made and to what extent they want to delegate all these decisions to elected representatives or other actors like experts or the citizens themselves. The Citizen Panel for Social Research in Andalusia (PACIS) is an instrument set up by IESA-CSIC for the collection of quality information in research for scientific purposes or improve public management with the autonomous community of Andalusia as its area of interest. It is made up of a set of households selected at random to be representative of the Andalusian population. The survey on policy-making is the second wave that IESA/CSIC has carried out on the basis of PACIS and has been answered for 1.081 people (575 answered by internet and 506 by telephone). The general objective of the PEACETIME cruise is to study the fundamental processes and their interactions at the ocean-atmosphere interface, occurring after atmospheric deposition (especially Saharan dust) in the Mediterranean Sea, and how these processes impact the functioning of the pelagic ecosystem. During the proposed 33 days cruise in the western and central Mediterranean Sea in May 2017, we will study the impact of atmospheric deposition on the cycles of chemical elements, on marine biogeochemical processes and fluxes, on marine aerosols emission and how ongoing changes will impact the functioning of Mediterranean Sea communities in the future. The cruise is designed to explore a variety of oligotrophic regimes. Combining in situ observations both in the atmosphere and the ocean, and in situ and minicosm-based on-board process studies, the 40 embarking scientists from atmosphere and ocean sciences will characterize the chemical, biological and physical/optical properties of both the atmosphere and the sea-surface microlayer, mixed layer and deeper waters. The PEACETIME strategy (season and cruise track) associated to a combination of dust transport forecasting tools and near real-time satellite remote sensing is designed to maximize the probability to catch a Saharan dust deposition event in a stratified water column in order to follow the associated processes in-situ. This coordinated multidisciplinary effort will allow us to fill the current weaknesses/lacks in our knowledge of atmospheric deposition impact in the ocean and feedbacks to the atmosphere in such oligotrophic systems. As a key joint-project between MERMEX and CHARMEX : The PEACETIME project comes in the scope of the regional multidisciplinaryprogramme MISTRALS (Mediterranean Integrated STudies at Regional And Local Scales ), which aims at predicting the evolution of this region following strong expected changes in climate and human pressures. In this framework, the PEACETIME project constitutes a key joint project between the ChArMEx (the Chemistry-Aerosol Mediterranean Experiment) and MERMEx (Marine Ecosystems Response in the Mediterranean Experiment) initiatives, enabling to gather communities of atmospheric chemists and marine biogeochemists around the common question of assessing the impact of atmospheric deposition on the marine biogeochemical processes and air-sea exchanges., Peer reviewed

This supporting material includes two Texts with further explanations on two points given in the manuscript: Text 1 explains the calculations used to model the input function of the 233U/236U ratio in the Atlantic Layer of the Arctic Ocean; Text 2 presents the adopted calculations to estimate the 233U/236U ratio in the surface of the rocks due to natural production processes, and the adopted number for the U present in Deep and Bottom Waters in the Amerasian Basin. Figure S1 compares the obtained ICP-MS 238U results in this work with the predicted ones based on salinity data using the empirical formula given in (Owens et al., 2011). Figure S2 shows how the modelled 233U/236U ratios for the Atlantic Layer in Text 2 compares with the obtained values in this work., Peer reviewed
