Application of Topic Maps to the Semantic Analysis of Calderón's Comedias
This study presents a methodological proposal that can be applied to Calderón's comedias. Topic maps are a useful tool, both conceptual and methodological, that help to structure information for each play, without losing the sense of the text. By mapping the components of the work (characters, places, objects, etc.) and the relations among them (relations of meaning and significance), this study analyzes the plays for either a particular study of each comedia or for a comprehensive discussion of Calderón's theater.
