We study the influence of ripple waves on the band structures of strained armchair graphene nanoribbons. We argue that the Zeeman pseudospin (p-spin) splitting energy induced by ripple waves might not be neglected for smaller widths of armchair graphene nanoribbons (GNRs). We show that the p-spin splitting energy breaks the symmetry of degeneracy due to the ripple-induced Zeeman effect in GNRs, originating from electromechanical coupling. A thin nearly circular plate is submerged below the free surface of deep water. The problem is reduced to a hypersingular integral equation over the surface of the plate which is conformally mapped onto the unit disc. We consider an approximation of the linearised equation of the homogeneous Boltzmann equation that describes the distribution of quasipar-ticles in a dilute gas of bosons at low temperature. The corresponding collision frequency is neither bounded from below nor from above. We prove the ex-istence and uniqueness of solutions satisfying the conservation of energy. We show that these solutions converge to the corresponding stationary state, at an algebraic rate as time tends to infinity.

The note presents conditions to assure weak stability in the mean for a hysteresis Bouc-Wen model controlled by a proportional-integral controller subject to random failures. When a failure happens, the controller turns off and remains off for a while. After that the controller turns on and keeps on until the occurrence of the next failure. This work is devoted to study the nature of vibrations arising in a multidimensional nonlinear periodic lattice structure with memory. We prove the existence of a global attractor.
