AUTHORSHIP ACCORDING TO SEX/GENDER IN CONTRIBUTIONS TO SPANISH SCIENTIFIC JOURNALS OF ANCIENT HISTORY (1970-2020)

This database corresponds to the study of the authorship of women and men in 3913 contributions published in 7 Spanish journals of Ancient History between 1970 and 2020. It analyses the sex/gender of authorship, its proportion and its development over time. In addition, the possible existence of differences depending on whether the contributions are single-authored or co-authored, as well as on the position of signature in the works of more than one person, is addressed. Likewise, the topic of these investigations is taken into account. This study shows that the proportion of female authors is low and, furthermore, that a progressive increase in female authorship cannot be observed in the last decades.,
Esta base de datos corresponde al estudio de la autoría de mujeres y hombres en 3.914 contribuciones publicadas en 7 revistas españolas de Historia Antigua entre los años 1970 y 2020. Se analiza el sexo/género de la autoría, su proporción y su desarrollo a lo largo del tiempo. Además, se aborda la posible existencia de diferencias en función de si las contribuciones son de autoría única o coautoría, así como en la posición de firma en los trabajos de más de una persona. Asimismo, se tiene en cuenta la temática de estas investigaciones. Los datos recogidos evidencian que la proporción de autoras es baja y, además, no se observa un progresivo incremento de la autoría femenina en las últimas décadas.

HOME-TO-SCHOOL PEDESTRIAN MOBILITY GPS DATA FROM A CITIZEN SCIENCE EXPERIMENT IN THE BARCELONA AREA

This data-set contains high resolution GPS records from a single day home-to-school pedestrian mobility of 10 schools in the Barcelona Metropolitan Area (Spain). The experiment for data acquisition took place in November 2018. The data-set provides pedestrian mobility from an age-homogeneous group of people and is particularly valuable to bring insights in an urban microscopic level and can characterize micro-mobility patterns and pedestrians’ micro-motives. The study shares processed records with specific filtering, cleaning, and interpolation procedures (83 individual journeys and 41,053 GPS records) that can facilitate and accelerate data usage. Citizen science practices were employed during the whole research process (co-design, crowd-sourced protocols for the experiment, collective data interpretation and policy recommendations).

This data set includes all the Supplementary information corresponding to the paper entitled “ADMET free online prediction tools for academic or small biotech environments”. More particularly the characteristics of the free software and web servers for the prediction of physicochemical and pharmacokinetic properties of drug candidates, the properties that are predicted, the experimental data for a set of 24 FDA-approved tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs), the properties predicted for such TKIs using the free web servers, and the comparison of the predicted and experimental data together with the statistical analysis of such comparisons.

Units: nanoteslas (nT). Recording location: Horta de Sant Joan. Instrumentation: Variometers: LEMI-025 suspended 3-axis fluxgate magnetometer sampled at 1 s rate (filtered). Scalar magnetometers: GEM Systems GSM-90 sampled at 10 s rate. Absolute instrument: D/I-fluxgate magnetometer type TDJ6E-NM/FLM-4. Data are available in different interval types: 1-sec data; 1-min, 1-hour, 1-day and 1-month means.

DATASET OF LABORATORY EXPERIMENTS WITH RIGID AND FLEXIBLE STEMS FOR DIFFERENT CANOPY DENSITIES, PATCH LENGTHS AND WAVE FREQUENCIES

Data corresponding to the experimental study carried out in the framework of a project by the “Ministerio de Economía y Competitividad” of the Spanish Government and located in the Environmental Physics group laboratory of the UdG.

These experimental study aim to determine the interaction between hydrodynamics and the canopy structure, a set of laboratory experiments were carried out with both rigid and flexible stems for different canopy densities, patch lengths and wave frequencies.

The data are presented in Excel, where on each sheet of Excel the data represented in the figures of the article published with the results of the different experiments are collected(https://doi.org/10.1038/s41598-023-28077-2).

So the second Excel sheet corresponds to figure 1 of the referenced article where the vertical profiles are shown TKE(turbulent kinetic energy )/Uw2(wave velocity) vertical profiles (a) versus z (vertical position) for non-vegetated set ups, and versus z/hp for (b) rigid vegetation and (c) flexible vegetation for the two wave frequencies studied f (wave frequency) = 1.12 Hz (circles) and (b) f = 0.5 Hz (triangles). The horizontal dashed lines in (b) and (c) represent the height of the plant leaf for flexible plants (hp) or the height of the plant stem for rigid plants. The vegetated experiments presented here correspond to cases with a patch length of 238 cm and SPF (solid plant fraction) = 10%. The horizontal grey lines represent the interface between the upper-canopy layer and the lower-canopy layer for both types of vegetation.

The third Excel sheet corresponds to figure 2, it is represented TKE attenuation in relation to the non-vegetated cases at the UCL (upper canopy layer) (βUCL) for (a) flexible vegetation (a) and for (b) rigid vegetation (b). TKE attenuation in relation to the non-vegetated cases at the LCL (lower canopy layer) (βLCL) for (c) flexible vegetation and for (d) rigid vegetation.

In the fourth sheet of Excel, the data in figure 3 is specified, that is to say, Vertical TKE attenuation, β′, for the (a) flexible vegetation model and (b) rigid vegetation model. Unfilled circles correspond to f = 0.5 Hz, and solid black circles correspond to f = 1.12 Hz. The vertical dashed lines indicate the threshold of Aw (Wave orbital excursion length scale)/S (plant-to-plant distance) for each type of plant, and the horizontal dashed line represents the y-axis value of β′ = 1.

In the fifth sheet of Excel, the data corresponding to figure 4, TKE versus CD−Patchnd22(1−∅)]23Uw2 for (a) flexible and (b) rigid vegetation.

Finally, in the six sheet, the data corresponding to figure 5, number of shoots per m2 (n) required to begin producing TKE versus TKE/Uw2 for different patch lengths and for (a) rigid and (b) flexible plant structures.

    The DEU Dataset helps EU studies scholars to develop an extensive range of research questions regarding EU legislative policy-making. This latest updated version 69 legislative dossiers from the EU-15 (Thomson & Stokman, 2006), 56 dossiers from the EU-27 (covering the 2004-2007 EU enlargement) (Thomson et al., 2012) and 16 legislative dossiers from the EU-28 that cover the time framework between 2016 and 2019 (Arregui and Perarnaud). In total, the new DEU-III dataset now covers systematic information for over twenty years of EU decision-making (1999-2019), and it includes 141 legislative proposals and 363 controversial issues. This makes the DEU dataset the largest existing dataset in the literature on EU decision-making with a great potential to identify the main driving forces of EU decision-making over the last two decades.The legislative dossiers include a broad range of policy areas in legislative decision-making. Altogether, DEU-III provides information on the policy positions of member states´ representatives in the Council of Ministers, the European Commission (EC), and the European Parliament (EP). The new dataset (DEUIII) also provides information on the salience scores that each actor attaches to the issues subjected to a final decision.
