FAIR-CHECK: SCRIPT TO CHECK FAIR PRINCIPLES COMPLIANCE

  • Chamorro-Padial, Jorge
  • García González, Roberto
  • Gil Iranzo, Rosa María
Fair-check is a simple script to check FAIR principles compliance. It uses FAIR Evaluator, a service which, using a SmartAPI annotation, can retrieve information to check whether a resource complies with certain FAIR Maturity Indicator Test. Unfortunately, currently, only Gen2 Maturity Indicators can be automatically tested, Gen1 MIs should be checked by humans. In any case, we can still verify a lot of MIs. Take a look at: https://fairdata.services:7171/FAIR_Evaluator/metrics This is the first version of FAIR-Check, a development version can be found at https://github.com/jorgechp/fair-check

  • Alvarez Palau, Eduard J.
  • Esteban-Oliver, Guillermo
  • Martí-Henneberg, Jordi
The history of Spain has always been linked to navigation and its related infrastructure. This GIS database provides three files that reconstruct the ports, lighthouses and inland waterways that were in operation during the Modern Age and the Liberal Period., La historia de España siempre ha estado vinculada a la navegación y sus infraestructuras asociadas. En esta base de datos SIG se aportan tres ficheros que reconstruyen los puertos, faros y vías navegables interiores que estuvieron en operación durante la Edad Moderna y el Período Liberal.

PARLAMINTCAT CORPUS

  • Pisani, Marilina
  • Zevallos Salazar, Rodolfo
  • Bel, Núria
Parliamentary speeches are considered to be of interest for different research areas because they are publicly available transcriptions, produced under controlled and regulated procedures that add totally reliable sociodemographic data like gender, age, and other details of the speakers. Moreover, speeches are rich in topics and domains, and they are actually public domain data, not subject to copyright restrictions. The ParlaMint project: Towards Comparable Parliamentary Corpora is developing a comparable and uniformly annotated multilingual corpus with the data from 33 different parliaments in Europe. This paper describes the details of building the ParlaMintCAT corpus, for which the transcriptions of the Catalan Parliament General Assembly sessions from 2015 to 2022 have been compiled, processed and annotated.

ESCOLA - SPANISH CORPUS OF LINGUISTIC ACCEPTABILITY

  • Bel, Núria
  • Punsola, Marta
  • Ruiz-Fernández, Valle
Acceptability is one of the General Language Understanding Evaluation Benchmark (GLUE) probing tasks proposed to assess the linguistic capabilities acquired by a deep-learning transformer-based language model (LM). In this paper, we introduce the Spanish Corpus of Linguistic Acceptability EsCoLA. EsCoLA has been developed following the example of other linguistic acceptability data sets for English, Italian, Norwegian or Russian, with the aim of having a complete GLUE benchmark for Spanish. EsCoLA consists of 11,174 sentences and their acceptability judgements as found in well-known Spanish reference grammars. Additionally, all sentences have been annotated with the class of linguistic phenomenon the sentence is an example of, also following previous practices. We also provide as task baselines the results of fine-tuning four different language models with this data set and the results of a human annotation experiment. The results are also analyzed and commented to guide future research.

BENCHMARK: INCIDENCE AND RESOURCES DATASET FOR A SCHEDULING/ALLOCATION PROBLEM (ROADSIDE BREAKDOWN COVER)

  • Buil Giné, Roman
  • de Armas, Jesica
  • Riera Terrén, Daniel
  • Orozco Martín, Sandra
This dataset contains all necessary information to run a resource allocation problem: historical incidences with their timestamp and exact location and the resources with their cost, current location and availability. Data was provided by the client and processed by Accenture. Data was processed by filtering the relevant data by location and date, and cleansed by renaming columns and removing obsolete resources and out-of-scope incidences (only mechanical incidences are considered).

DATA FOR THE ANALYSIS OF STEM TEACHING AND LEARNING SEQUENCES

  • Domènech-Casal, Jordi
  • Grimalt-Alvaro, Carme
  • López-Simó, Víctor
  • Tena, Èlia
This dataset categorises the 345 teaching and learning proposals collected in various teacher trainings on STEM education between 2017 and 2021. The training participants are active secondary school teachers (training A-C) from different STEM domains ( Mathematics, Science and Technology) and secondary school teachers in initial training (see training D-F). All participating teachers had no prior experience in STEM education, which was the reason they enrolled in this training program. The teaching and learning sequences have not been implemented in the classroom, but are the product of the training. These data have been used to study how teachers conceptualize STEM education and which elements they prioritize. The codes that categorize each item are described in the rubric and can be consulted at: https://doi.org/10.1007/s10763-024-10457-3.

SIMULATION AND EXPERIMENTAL DATA OF FREQUENCY DOMAIN AND TIME DOMAIN OPTICAL SIGNAL MEASUREMENTS FOR OPTICAL NETWORK DIGITAL TWINS

  • Ruiz Ramírez, Marc
  • Velasco Esteban, Luis Domingo
  • Devigili, Mariano
  • Shariati, Behnam
  • Fischer, Johannes Karl
  • Santos, Caio Marciano
This dataset contains data from two different scenarios: 1) Experimental measurements of time domain samples (optical constellations) of lightpaths under specific configurations. 2) Synthetic frequency domain (spectrum) and time domain (constellations) samples under different simulation configurations. Details about the experimental testbed and simulation environments are conveniently provided in the form of comprehensive description files.

VR360 CONSUMPTION DATASET - IMAC OPEN PILOT

  • Montagud, Mario
  • Meyerson, Einar
  • Fraile, Isaac
  • Fernández, Sergi
This dataset has been created under the framework of the EU H2020 ImAc project (https://www.imac-project.eu/). It contains traces from Quality of Service (QoS) and Quality of Experience (QoE) related metrics when watching 360º videos augmented with access services (mainly subtitles, and sign language), by using different branches of the ImAc player (http://imac.i2cat.net/player/) in an open environment. The dataset is comprised of two folders related to two pilots launched in the ImAc project, led by a German and a Spanish broadcaster. In total, it contains traces from more than 800 video watching sessions. [More details in the README file.]
