VICARIOUS CALIBRATION DATA FOR THE CHIME PROJECT: DATASET OF GROUND FIELD SPECTROSCOPY MEASUREMENTS SIMULTANEOUS WITH THE FLIGHT OF THE AVIRIS-NG SENSOR AT INVARIANT TARGET SITES IN DOÑANA NATIONAL PARK AND RÍOTINTO MINES (HUELVA, SPAIN)

In the scope of the Copernicus Hyperspectral Imaging Mission (CHIME) support activity, absolute radiometric field measurements were carried out to cross-calibrate data response of the airborne AVIRIS-NG, spaceborne DESIS and PRISMA, and UAV hyperespectral sensors. Near-simultaneous field spectral data were collected at invariant targets in Doñana National Park and Ríotinto mining area (Huelva, Spain) on 25 June 2021. Sand dune surface and uniform benign residuals of treated mine waste were selected as invariant target sites, respectively. These dataset consists of the field spectral data. High spectral resolution field surface reflectance data were acquired using the Analytical Systems Devices (ASD) spectrometers measuring between the visible (VIS) to short wave infrared (SWIR) (400-2500 nm) ranges within ± 1 hour from the airborne data acquisition, which occurred at local noon. Collection methodology is described in Malthus, Ong et al. 2019. [DATASET] NUMERICAL MODELS FOR THE SIMULATION OF SEDIMENTARY GEOTHERMAL SYSTEMS AND THE POTENTIAL FOR INDUCED SEISMICITY

This dataset comprises the input files for numerical simulation of 30-years cold water reinjection through a doublet for geothermal exploitation of a hot sedimentary aquifer (HSA) and the associated risk for reactivating distant faults. Numerical models explore the effect of fault permeability on the governing thermo-hydro-mechanical (THM) processes and the geomechanical response of the system. The models are 2D plane strain including a homogeneous and isotropic HSA laterally bounded by two opposite dipping normal faults. Following this brief explanation, the dataset has two folders, each containing data for a distinct model: - “THM_k=1e-19.gid” for simulating the geothermal system with the embedded faults having low permeability k=1·10-19 m2 - and - “THM_k=1e-16.gid” for simulating the geothermal system featured with high fault permeability k=1·10-16 m2. In each folder, there is a file with the name of the folder ended as “_gen.dat” which contains the input data of the model, including material properties, initial and boundary conditions and the time intervals. There is also a file ended as “_gri.dat” that includes the information on the mesh. The file “root.dat” includes the name of the model. Data set supporting the results of the article “Feathers turn grey: patterns and predictors of progressive greying in a cryptic nocturnal bird”, submitted for publication in October 2021. The readme file contains information about the header cells in the datasets. Questions should be addressed to Carlos Camacho (ccamacholmedo@gmail.com). This data set is subjected to a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Licence, This data set includes measurements of the prevalence of unpigmented (leucistic) feathers in red-necked nightjars (Caprimulgus ruficollis). Data on date of capture, sex, age, presence-absence of leucistic feathers and body size of each individual are also included in the data set. Fieldwork was carried out between 19 April 2016 and 15 October 2020 (5 years) in a protected area of the Doñana Natural Park (Spain).
