SOCIAL NETWORKS IN (OF) IBERO-AMERICAN FILM CULTURE DURING THE FIRST HALF OF THE TWENTIETH CENTURY

  • Clariana Rodagut, Ainamar
  • Cardillo, Alessio
  • Ikoff, Ventsislav
The data in this dataset encapsulate networks of relationships between intellectuals, organisations, and events in Ibero-American film field; taking as a starting point three women (the Argentinean intellectual Victoria Ocampo, the Spanish journalist María Luz Morales, and the Mexican photographer Lola Álvarez Bravo), and the relationships between Ibero-American film clubs. We expanded their range of activities and relations via the “follow the actor” tenet of Actor Network theory. The archive contains the data necessary to reproduce the visualisations presented in chapters 3.1, 3.2 and 3.3 of the thesis “Networks of Women in the first Ibero-American film clubs from 1909 to 1959”, and available online in their interactive version at [https://global-ls.github.io/filmculture-socnet/]. The visualisation has been created using the open graph visualisation software Gephi 0.10.1, (https://gephi.org/) but can be obtained with any other network visualisation tool. These data contain the relationship between people, organisations, and events appearing in the networks of Lola Álvarez Bravo (LAB), María Luz Morales (MLM), Victoria Ocampo (VO), and of Ibero American film clubs (IAFC) . Each network is stored as a pair of CSV files containing, respectively, information about the nodes and the list of edges.

ROCA ARCHAEOLOGICAL SURVEY PROJECT: LIST OF THE CERAMICS SAMPLED FOR THE ANALYTICAL STUDY

  • Francesco Iacono
  • Mentesana, Roberta Bruna
The dataset refers to the study of the pottery production at the site of Roca Vecchia (Melendugno-Lecce, IT) as part of the Roca Archaeological Survey project (RAS) of the University of Bologna (Italy). Roca (or Rocavecchia or Roca Vecchia) was one of the most important sites for the Bronze Age of the Central Mediterranean, which shows a complex history of building and destruction phases and the interactions of different cultural groups. 68 ceramic individuals were sampled spanning from the Middle to the Final Bronze Age phases of the site aiming at exploring how changes in the settlement are matched in technological choices made by the people responsible for the production of impasto (local) pottery at Roca

3D POINT CLOUD OF THE AÑISCLO ANTICLINE CREST (SPAIN)

  • Garcia Selles, David
  • Gratacós Torrà, Òscar
The dataset includes a 3D Points Cloud of the crest of Añisclo Anticline (Huesca, Spain). The 3D Point Cloud was collected with a Terrestrial Laser Scanner along 220 m strecht of the SC-22107-02 road. It is located 6.2 km from the town of Escalona. The format is ASCII (X, Y, Z and Intensity) with an offset of -200000 in the X coordinates and -470000 in the Y coordinates for a UTM WGS84 georeferencing. This was used to geometrically characterize the fracturing of the outcrop.

SCRIPT WITH THE GREW-MATCH FORMALISATION OF GREENBERG UNIVERSALS

  • Brosa Rodríguez, Antoni
The file contains all the formalisations that have been proposed in order to be able to carry out the checks of the doctoral thesis. The file is a script ordered by universal and where other more precise or alternative linguistic formalisations related to the analysed universal are also shown. The application of this script on the first 1000 treebanks of all the Universal Dependencies corpora (2.11) is what guides the results of the thesis.

SUPPLEMENTAL DATA OF: PERCEIVE WP2: EVALUATION OF EU CITIZENS’ PERCEPTION OF THE EU PROJECT: KEY VARIABLES FOR CITIZENS' IDENTIFICATION WITH EU - DATASETS - PART B

  • Calia, Pinuccia
  • López-Bazo, Enrique
  • Moreno Serrano, Rosina
  • Royuela Mora, Vicente
  • Suriñach Caralt, Jordi
This dataset refers to PERCEIVE tasks 2.4 and 2.5. These tasks analyze the data sets developed by PERCEIVE task 2.1 in order to identify, quantify and synthetize the most important variables to asses identification with EU by citizens. The results feed an update of the data set developed in task 2.1. Finally, these data is be used to model convergence of EU citizens' identification in the case study regions.
Data consists of the quantitative statistical information used to produce all the results of WP2 and the indicators regarding the variables of interest obtained by means of different statistical techniques. Moreover, data on absorption of EU funds, provided by the EC and other research centres and collected in task 2.5, is be gathered in this data set, together with the results of convergence analysis.
This data set is be used to evaluate the EU citizens’ perception of the EU project in relation to regional performance of the cohesion policy and institutional quality.
WP2 uses primary data from the survey developed in WP1 (“PERCEIVE: WP1: Framework for comparative analysis of the perception of Cohesion Policy and identification with the European Union at citizen level in different European countries: Task1.3: Survey at citizen level” data set) and also comparative case studies on EU countries and regions, coming also from WP1 (”PERCEIVE: WP1: Framework for comparative analysis of the perception of Cohesion Policy and identification with the European Union at citizen level in different European countries: Task1.1: The framework for the comparative analysis” and ”PERCEIVE: WP1: Framework for comparative analysis of the perception of Cohesion Policy and identification with the European Union at citizen level in different European countries: Task1.2: Focus group with Cohesion Policy practitioners” data sets). The data set incorporates data from existing sources including Eurostat and information resulting from the Survey conducted at WP1 of the PERCEIVE’s project. As regards secondary data, no additional treatment is needed. Info about the sources of such data, including references to technical details, is provided in the dataset's codebook.
