HEROES CORPUS

  • Öktem, Alp
Each episode directory contains word-level and segment-level information of the whole episode and also parallel samples extracted under segments_eng and segments_spa subdirectories. Each sample is stored as an WAV audio file, text file and a CSV file containing word timing information and word-level paralinguistic and prosodic features. This dataset contains short audio and text excerpts from the TV series "Heroes" (Copyright Universal Media Studios (2006-2007,2007-2008, 2008-2009)). It is compiled and used only for research purposes. Creation of this dataset is partially financed by the UPF DTIC-Maria de Maeztu Strategic Program. This dataset is created with automated tools. There might be errors due to the automated process.

PROSODICALLY ANNOTATED TED TALKS

  • Öktem, Alp
  • Farrús, Mireia
  • Lai, Catherine
"Audio files of the recordings are provided in the partitioned archives as WAV format. ""talk_proscripts"" archive contains Proscript format annotations of complete talks. ""punkProse_dataset"" archive contains sampled dataset partitioning used in prosodic punctuation modelling experiments (See http://github.com/alpoktem/punkProse). README.txt file contains information on the dataset and authors. Indexing of the files and their corresponding talks are listed in TED_talk_ids.txt. Proscript format files contain the sequence of uttered words in a recording, their approximate timings and corresponding acoustic measurements (pitch, intensity, speech rate). For more information on Proscript format see http://github.com/alpoktem/proscript."

WAH INFORMED CONSENT AND IMAGE RIGHTS FORMS

  • Montserrat, Carme
  • Garcia Molsosa, Marta
This dataset includes the informed consent forms template used in the research projecte "WeAreHere!"(WaH) ["SomAquí!"] for children's questionnaire, for teachers' questionnaire and for advisory groups. Children under 14 years old doing the questionnaire or participating in the advisory groups needed also the consent of their parents (informed consent forms also included in this dataset). It also includes the image rights forms template for children under 14 years old and 14 and over. All the documents are in Catalan language, except the informed consent forms for parents, that have a Catalan and Spanish version. The informed consent forms have been designed according to the Organic Law 3/2018 on Data Protection and Guarantee of Digital Rights and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council and have been approved by the Ethical Committee of the University of Girona (CEBRU0009-21).

FTIR ANALYSES OF SAMPLES OF TOSSAL DE LA VILA (LA SERRA D’EN GALCERAN, CASTELLÓN) AND MASIES DE SANT MIQUEL (BANYERES DEL PENEDÈS, TARRAGONA, SPAIN) COMBUSTION STRUCTURES

  • Saorin, Carme
Collection of 29 graphs of FTIR analyses of samples from combustion structures of Tossal de la Vila (La Serra d’en Galceran, Castellón) and Masies de Sant Miquel (Banyeres del Penedès, Tarragona, Spain).

FTIR Analyses have been carried out at the Archaeometry Laboratory of the Faculty of Geography and History, University of Barcelona. Specifically, for the preparation of the samples, a 2-tonne press, model SC-03940 Mini-Pellet Press from Teknokroma has been used, and to apply this technique, an iS5 spectrometer from Thermo Fisher Scientific.

The software used for the interpretation of the spectra was OMNIC and the mineral database used is available at the Kimmel Centre for Archaeological Science (Weizmann Institute of Sciences).

Sampling was conducted in a non-smoking private single-family house in the municipality of Terrassa (Spain) during February-March 2016. There are 16 files of .txt format and 7 files of .csv format. The lightest file is 3KB and the heaviest 371KB. Counting all 23 files , there are 2,01MB. Files from the HAPEX device are those which start with 'HAPEX'. The following numbers correspond respectively to sensor ID_Day_Month_Year_Hour_Minute_Second of the sampling start. Files from the TZOA-R device are those which start with 'TZOA'. The following 4 digits correspond to the sensor ID. Files from the DustTrak device are those which end with 'dusttrak'. From 22 Feb to 25 Feb the number of the files' name corresponds to DayMonthYear (DDMMYY) and HourMinute (HHMM) of the sampling start. In contrast, from 29 Feb, the number of the files' name corresponds to DayMonthYear (DDMMYYYY) of the sampling start. Files from the EL-USB-CO devices are those which end with 'co'. From 22 Feb to 25 Feb the number of the files' name corresponds to DayMonthYear (DDMMYYYY) of the sampling start plus DayMonthYear (DDMMYYYY) of the sampling end. The numbers before 'co' correspond to the sensor ID (e.g. '1co'). In contrast, from 29 Feb, the number of the files' name corresponds to DayMonthYear (DDMMYYYY) of the sampling start only. File from the Q-Trak device is the one that ends with 'qtrak'. The number of the files' name corresponds to DayMonthYear (DDMMYYYY) of the sampling start. File from BGI concentrations is the one that start with 'BGI'. This is a database where the variable corresponding to the PM2.5 concentration is called 'PMconcentration' (reported in g/m3).

UNINTERPRETED SECTIONS OF SANDBOX ANALOG MODELS INVOLVING SALT-BEARING RIFTED MARGINS AND SALT-BEARING RIFTED MARGINS INCORPORATED INTO FOLD-AND-THRUST BELTS

  • Santolaria, Pablo
  • Granado, Pablo
This dataset consists of three images resulting from a sandbox analog modeling experimental program. Sandbox analog modeling of tectonic processes is an experimental technique aiming to simulate and study natural geological processes by means of scaled models. Experimental models are scaled in dimensions, time and rheology, by using different analog materials such as colored sand or silicone. Models are performed in sandboxes that contain the analog materials. These analog materials are deformed according to specific testing parameters. At the end of the experiments, models are consolidated and sliced, and these slices photographed (sections). The figures in this dataset represent the uninterpreted sections of three sandbox analog models that experimentally simulate a salt-bearing rifted margin, a salt-bearing rifted margin incorporated into fold-and-thrust belt and a salt-bearing rifted margin incorporated into fold-and-thrust belt that grown coeval with surface processes (erosion and sedimentation). The experimental program was executed at the GEOMODELS Analogue Modelling Laboratory at the University of Barcelona.
