The dataset includes a list of clinical assessments made by different fieldworkers and medical doctors on whether participants had scabies or not as well as demographic data on sex and age. The data was used to assess the diagnostic accuracy of fieldworker diagnosis of scabies in the field.

REPLICATION DATA FOR RESEARCH ARTICLE "ENGINEERING THE SYNTHETIC Β-ALANINE PATHWAY IN KOMAGATAELLA PHAFFII FOR CONVERSION OF METHANOL INTO 3-HYDROXYPROPIONIC ACID"

Supplementary files of research article "Engineering the synthetic β-alanine pathway in Komagataella phaffii for conversion of methanol into 3-hydroxypropionic acid". This research paper performs a theoretical comparison between the the two main metabolic pathways towards 3-hydroxypropionic (3-HP) acid production, and describes the establishment of the synthetic β-alanine pathway in Komagataella phaffii for conversion of methanol into 3-HP. Several strains overexpressing the β-alanine pathway were constructed and tested on 24 deep-well plate cultivations containing buffered minimal medium (BMM) with methanol.Three independent transformants from each strain were tested. Final biomass concentration as well as methanol and 3-HP quantification were determined at the end of the cultures. Series of growth kinetics experiments were performed by cultivating a representative clone from each strain in shake-flask cultures using BMM to determine the maximum specific growth rate of the different strains. The best performing strains were further evaluated in aerobic fed-batch reactors following a pre-programmed exponential feeding strategy for controlled growth rate. Offline and online state variables during the fed-batch phase of the bioreactor-scale experiments were monitored and recorded. Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) spectroscopy was used to perform the exometabolome profiling analyses of the supernatant samples from early, mid, and late methanol-feeding phase. All experiments were carried in duplicates. The files attached herein contain: the diagrams and stoichiometric balances of the malonyl-CoA and β-alanine pathways, the raw data obtained from the 24 deep-well plate cultivations and cell growth kinetics experiments, the NMR spectra for different strains' exometabolome, the raw and processed data obtained from the bioreactor-scale experiments, the description of the molecular cloning materials and methods, and the raw data of the online monitored standard process parameters.

SUPPLEMENTARY DATA TO "THE POLITICAL ECOLOGY OF OIL AND GAS CORPORATIONS: TOTALENERGIES AND POST-COLONIAL EXPLOITATION TO CONCENTRATE ENERGY IN INDUSTRIAL ECONOMIES"

METHODOLOGICAL INFORMATION -------------------------- 1. Description of methods used for collection-generation of data: Two main sources of data have been used for this analysis: TotalEnergies' Universal Registration Documents from 1999 to 2022 and the Global Atlas of Environmental Justice (EJAtlas).8 The EJAtlas provides a dataform to systematically characterise and codify the main dimensions of a conflictive project [21,22]. At the end of 2023, the EJAtlas is reaching 4000 entries. The EJAtlas data collects information using a predetermined case entry sheet that combines both free text descriptions of various aspects of the conflict with a set of categorical variables for the contributor to check when applicable. EJAtlas cases include qualitative and quantitative variables such as a case description, geolocation, the main sources of conflict, project details and actors, data on the conflict stage and on forms of mobilisation, impacts, outcomes, and a reference list. This combination of open text and categorisation allows describing the specificity of the conflicts in their local contexts and at the same time conduct large comparative studies across regional, global or thematic scales. Through a global network of collaborators, the EJAtlas gathers information from local sources, always trying to be as faithful as possible to the local narratives and concerns, and referencing all data and significant claims with secondary data. All data submitted by collaborators is then moderated by a central team following a standard set of rules and format. This allows harnessing the geographic coverage and local specificity of a widespread and diverse network of contributors, while systematising information across the data sample. We found the EJAtlas well suited for this study since the repository already contained a significant amount of information on TotalEnergies environmental conflicts and its methodology facilitated the investigation of global patterns of impacts and resistances to TotalEnergies operations. We also draw on complementary information from conflicts not yet documented in the EJAtlas. 2. Methods for processing the data: All Universal Registration Documents for the company from 1999 to 2022 were screened to extract names of specific projects in seven categories: Coal (8), Oil and Gas exploration and production (368), LNG Terminals (47), Pipelines (64), Refineries (49), Power plants & Renewables (78) and Offsets, Recycling and CCS (15). The project names are reported in Supplementary Table 1. This database of TotalEnergies projects was used to understand the global geographic and operational scope of TotalEnergies, as well as to identify environmental conflicts related to specific projects using specific search strings in Google and Google Scholar (see search strings in Supplementary Methods). The identified conflicts were studied in greater depth and documented in the EJAtlas. We selected all EJAtlas cases involving TotalEnergies, its predecessors Total, Fina and ELF or its subsidiaries during the time of development of a conflict, notably CEPSA until 2011 and Novatek until 2022. At the start of this research, 43 cases involving TotalEnergies were already present in the EJAtlas database. We have subsequently added 7 more conflicts and updated some existing cases to include more detail, and contemporary information on the conflicts: we obtained a final list of 50 cases. We codified the cases by type of operation following the energy flux from extraction to consumption including exploration (11), extraction (17), pipeline (5), LNG (7), oil spills (3), refinery (5) petrochemical (1), and climate litigation (1). A full list of the conflicts is shown in Supplementary Table 2 and an EJAtlas featured map9 allows the reader to browse the different cases.

The global COVID-19 spread has forced countries to implement non-pharmacological interventions (NPI) to preserve health systems. Spain is one of the most severely impacted countries, both clinically and economically. In an effort to support policy decision-making, Candel et al.(2021) [https://dx.doi.org/10.2139/ssrn.3745801] have developed a modified Susceptible-Exposed-Infectious-Removed (SEIR) epidemiological model to simulate the pandemic evolution. Its output was used to populate an economic model to quantify healthcare costs and GDP variation, through a regression model which correlates NPI and GDP change from 42 countries. The dataset contains information on the main variables used in order to specify and estimate this predictive model.

S'efectua una breu descripció i relació bibliogràfica, incidint en la cronologia (romà, medieval, modern o contemporani), localització (Tarragona, La Canonja, El Catllar i Els Pallaresos) i les recomanacions d'actuació sobre els elements patrimonials. Les dades es van recollir entre setembre de 2019 i setembre de 2020.,

This database collects 203 historical heritage elements which are known and related to the supply of water to the city of Tarragona and part of its territory. A brief description and bibliographic list are made, focusing on the chronology (Roman, medieval, modern or contemporary), location (Tarragona, La Canonja, El Catllar and Els Pallaresos) and the recommendations for action on the heritage elements. Data were collected between September 2019 and September 2020.

Data was processed by filtering the relevant data by location and date, and cleansed by renaming columns and removing obsolete resources and out-of-scope incidences (only mechanical incidences are considered).

PROSPECCIÓ ARQUEOLÒGICA A LA ROCA PLANA (TARRAGONA)

Documentació arqueològica de la prospecció efectuada a la Roca Plana (Tarragona) entre els dies 7 i 16 d’abril de 2017. Inclou fotografies, planimetries I informes. Aquesta infraestructura romana és un moll fet a partir del retoc d'una plataforma rocosa natural que va fer les funcions de moll per a la càrrega de la pedra extreta al Mèdol. Els resultats obtinguts demostren que es tracta el primer moll pròpiament industrial d’època romana detectat a Catalunya i un dels pocs de l’Occident mediterrani, de gran importància per l’arqueologia.

Documentation of the archaeological prospection carried out in La Roca Plana (Tarragona) between 7th and 16th April 2017. Includes photos, planimetries and reports. This Roman infrastructure is a pier made from the retouching of a natural rock platform that served as a dock to load the stone extracted stone into the Mèdol. The results obtained show that it is the first industrial pier from the Roman period detected in Catalonia and one of the few in the Western Mediterranean.

This replication package describes the dataset sources used in the paper and the STATA do files used in the empirical analysis together with the log files resulting from running them. As explained in more detail in the readme.pdf file, data from the Encuesta de Estrategias Empresariales (ESEE) is proprietary data and we are not allowed to pass the data to third parties. In case of being interested in replicating the results in this paper, one can send an e-mail to desee@fundacionsepi.es, specifying the title of the paper and the authors, and they will give access to the data for the only purpose of replicating the paper. Data on annual stock and installations of robots by industry and country has been obtained from the International Federation of Robotics (IFR). The IFR data are also proprietary. The data can be obtained from https://ifr.org/worldrobotics/ Two additional data files are distributed in this package: Consumer Price Index data for Spain covering the period 2006-2016 in STATA format and data for intermediate goods imports of Spain from its trading partners between 2006 and 2016 downloaded from the World Trade Integrated Solution (WTIS) and distributed in Microsoft Excel format.
