A set of 253 pine nut samples from different geographical regions was obtained from 2020 to 2023 in the frame of the Tracenuts project (PID2020-117701RB-I00). Pine nut samples were analysed under HS-SPME conditions adapted from Vichi et al. (Journal of Chromatography A, 2006, 1125: 117-123. doi.org/10.1016/j.chroma.2006.05.029) using a Combi-pal autosampler (CTC Analytics, Zwingen, Switzerland). An aliquot of approximately 1 g of whole pine nuts was weighed into a 10 mL vial fitted with a PTFE/silicone septum. The sample was conditioned at 70 °C for 10 min, followed by exposing a divinylbenzene/carboxen/polydimethylsiloxane (DVB/CAR/PDMS) fiber (2 cm length, 50/30 μm film thickness) from Supelco (Bellefonte, Pennsylvania, USA) to the sample headspace for 60 min, at the same temperature. Then, the fiber was desorbed at 260 ˚C for 10 min in the gas chromatograph injection port, the injector was maintained in split-less mode for the first 5 min. The mono- and sesquiterpene fingerprint was acquired by an Agilent 6890N Network GC system coupled to a quadrupolar mass selective analyser Agilent 5975C Inert MSD (Agilent Technologies, Santa Clara, California, USA). Helium was the carrier gas, at a flow of 1.5 mL/min. Analytes were separated on a Supelcowax-10 capillary column (60 m × 0.25 mm i.d., 0.25 μm film thickness) (Supelco, Bellefonte, Pennsylvania, USA). Column temperature was held at 40 °C for 3 min, increased to 100 °C at 4 °C/min, then, to 200 °C at 5 °C/min and to 260 °C at 15 °C/min, holding the last temperature for 5 min. The temperatures of the ion source and the transfer line were 230 and 280°C, respectively. Mass spectra were recorded at 2.3 scan/s and the electron energy was 70 eV. Data acquisition was performed in the selected ion monitoring (SIM) mode, by registering the Extracted Ion Chromatogram (EIC) of 7 ions which have been reported to be characteristic of the mono and sesquiterpene compounds: m/z 93, 95, 119, 159, 161, 189 and 204.

TOXIC DISPERSION ACCIDENTAL SCENARIOS

  • Papadaki, Artemis
  • Belda Ley, Mercedes
  • Agueda Costafreda, Alba
  • Planas Cuchi, Eulàlia
This database is a json file containing multiple toxic dispersion accidental scenarios. The scenarios were generated using PHAST commercial software for consequence analysis. The accidental scenario under examination is the release of toxic chemical from a horizontal cylindrical storage tank. The different scenarios were built on varying atmospheric, equipment and storage conditions parameters in nine pure, toxic chemicals. Two loss of containment scenarios were taken into account, namely, release from a hole and catastrophic rupture. The output registered for each scenario is the Safety Distance (max distance from the release source) using a toxicity threshold of LC1 (Lethal Concentration 1% in ppm) in exposure time of 10 min. The database is structured as a list of dictionaries, each dictionary corresponding to a single scenario. The total number of scenarios is 224,296.

SPANISH GOVERNMENT' CONSTITUTIONAL CHALLENGES TO REGIONAL LAWS 1980-2021

  • Muñoz-Marquez, Luz
  • Rodilla Lázaro, Andreu
This dataset provides comprehensive information on all laws passed by Spain's autonomous parliaments from 1980 to 2021, specifying whether each law was challenged by the Spanish Government in the Constitutional Court. Additionally, it includes data on the type of government at both the regional and central levels at the time of each constitutional challenge, as well as the governing party names at these levels. The dataset further incorporates variables capturing partisan preferences along the left-right and center-periphery axes, as defined by the Party Manifesto Project and the Regional Manifesto Project.

R SCRIPTS TO CLUSTER SIMILAR WINDOW PHOTOS USING THE AFFINITY PROPAGATION MACHINE-LEARNING ALGORITHM

  • Roca Musach, Marc
  • Crespo Cabillo, Isabel
  • Coch Roura, Helena
This dataset features a collection of R scripts designed to leverage the Affinity Propagation machine-learning algorithm for clustering similar window photographs. These scripts employ an unsupervised clustering analysis, culminating in the manual tagging of clusters. Following this, the scripts process the tags and clusters to generate tabulated data in .csv format. Additionally, the code includes tools for reapplying EXIF metadata to images and organizing them efficiently. The dataset also provides a sample output, derived from processing the scripts with data from the study “Image dataset: Year-long hourly facade photos of a university building” (https://doi.org/10.1016/j.dib.2024.110798).

  • Renau Cano, Melissa
This data set will include data from the testing of the PLUS project “Charter of Digital Worker Rights” presented in the deliverable“D5.1 Charter of Digital Worker Rights”. The Charter was tested by the involved cooperatives (Katuma, Smart and FairBnb). The testing was organized by a survey, co-creation and unstructured sessions. The dataset includes the aggregated data from questionnaires answered by stakeholders participating in the testing sessions with Katuma, Smart and FairbnB. The dataset is presented in two files: 1) 01_Surveys_script.txt which includes the questionnaire and, 2) 02_Surveys_Results.ods which contains the results of the surveys. This dataset has been the base for the testing of “Charter on Digital Worker Rights” performed in the frame of PLUS project (supported by European Union Horizon 2020 Programme under the grant agreement number 822638) through a survey, unstructured and co-creation sessions with the three project pilots: Katuma, Smart and Fairbnb.

  • Cid, Oscar
  • Ibañez, Miquel
Plain text files with magnetometer data (ASCII format) to monitor Geomagnetically Induced Currents (GIC) flowing in power transmission lines. Data from the magnetometer under transmission line contains GIC magnetic signal + environment magnetic field; data from reference magnetometer (hundreds of meters from the transmission line) contains only environment magnetic field. Subtraction allows isolating GIC signal.
