Since the discovery of the Higgs boson in 2012, detailed studies of its properties have been ongoing. Besides its mass, its width - related to its lifetime - is an important parameter. One way to determine this quantity is by measuring its off-shell production, where the Higgs boson mass is far away from its nominal value, and relating it to its on-shell production, where the mass is close to the nominal value. Here, we report evidence for such off-shell contributions to the production cross section of two Z bosons with data from the CMS experiment at the CERN Large Hadron Collider. We constrain the total rate of the off-shell Higgs boson contribution beyond the Z boson pair production threshold, relative to its standard model expectation, to the interval [0.0061, 2.0] at 95% confidence level. The scenario with no off-shell contribution is excluded at a p-value of 0.0003 (3.6 standard deviations). We measure the width of the Higgs boson as Th = 3.2 (+2.4 / -1.7) MeV, in agreement with the standard model expectation of 4.1 MeV. El Instituto Cervantes celebra la cuarta edición del «Día Cervantino de la Literatura Infantil y Juvenil». En plano medio, de espaldas, Víctor García de la Concha, director del Intituto Cervantes, conversa mediante videoconferencia con los participantes en las actividades que han organizado los centros del Instituto en Estocolmo y Tetuán.

En plano general, alumnos de 9 y 10 años del Liceo Francés participan en el taller celebrado en el Salón de Actos de la sede central del Instituto, con motivo del «Día Cervantino de la Literatura Infantil y Juvenil» con la colaboración del diseñador español, Javier de la Rosa.

El Instituto Cervantes celebra la cuarta edición del «Día Cervantino de la Literatura Infantil y Juvenil» En plano medio, en la mesa con los niños, Javier de la Rosa, diseñador del colectivo «Milicia gráfica», quien impartió el taller de cómic «La mancha de tinta parlante» a 26 niños que cursan 3º y 4º de primaria.

En plano americano, tocándole su música a los niños asistentes, Nacho Mastretta, ganador del premio al Mejor Álbum de Fusión en la XIV edición de los Premios de la Música. En el marco de estás actividades, también se pudo ver la muestra de fotografía latinoamericana “Esquizofrenia tropical”, con la que el Instituto Cervantes participa en el festival PHotoEspaña.

En plano medio, los adultos y niños en el taller de formación de palabras con diferentes colores y texturas, que ha organizado la sede central del Cervantes por El Día E. A través de estas festividades, se rinde homenaje a una lengua con casi 500 millones de hablantes, el español.
