[EN] This Collection of Botanical Iconography of the 18th century is the most relevant of the Flora of Colombia, and one of the best in the world, both from a scientific and artistic point of view. These are the original drawings made by the artists of the Expedition of the Royal Botanic Expedition of the New Kingdom of Granada, under the direction of José Celestino Mutis. During thirty years, the expeditionaries collected specimens in the territories of Colombia and Ecuador, which were illustrated by the artists. As a result this collection has reached our days, and has been admired by scientists like Carlos Linnaeus and Alexander von Humboldt. Since 2002, it has been recognized by the UNESCO as Memory of the World Register for Latin America and the Caribbean (MOWLAC).The data set includes information belonging to 5,796 records from a total of 7,167, including the scientific name, as well as subsequent identifications and revisions made by the specialists of the "Flora of the New Kingdom of Granada". This work is divided in various volumes in publishing process since 1952 thanks to an agreement between the Spanish and Colombian governments., [ES] Esta colección de iconografía botánica del siglo XVIII es la más relevante para la flora de Colombia, pero también una de las mejores del mundo, tanto desde el punto de vista científico como artístico. Se trata de los dibujos originales realizados por los artistas de la Real Expedición Botánica del Nuevo Reino de Granada, bajo la dirección de José Celestino Mutis. Durante treinta años los expedicionarios recolectaron especímenes en los territorios de Colombia y Ecuador, que fueron ilustrados por los artistas. El resultado fue esta colección, ya en su momento admirada por científicos de la talla de Carlos Linneo y Alexander von Humboldt. Desde el año 2002, tiene el reconocimiento del Registro de Memoria del Mundo de la UNESCO para América Latina y el Caribe (MOWLAC). El conjunto de datos que se ofrece incluye información de 5.796 registros de un total de 7.167, incluyendo el nombre científico y las identificaciones y revisiones posteriores, realizadas por los especialistas de la “Flora del Nuevo Reino de Granada”, obra que se viene publicando desde 1952 gracias a un acuerdo entre los gobiernos de España y Colombia.

The database contains detailed distribution information on several fungus groups species. The information has been revised, and in many time compiled, by expert mycologist(s) working on the monographs for the Flora Mycologica Iberica Project (FMI). Records comprise both collection and observational data, obtained from a variety of sources including field work, herbaria, and literature. The database contains 54,138 records, of which 20,813 are georeferenced. These correspond to 2445 species, grouped in 18 classes. The geographical scope of the dataset is Iberian Peninsula (Continental Portugal and Spain) and Balearic Islands. The complete dataset is provided in Darwin Core Archive format. The " Flora Mycologica Iberica Project database" is one of the main results produce by the "Flora Mycologica, a research project that stood from 1996 to 2008 and involved over 30 researchers . It provides information on 2,445 fungus species recorded from The Iberian Peninsula and Balearic Islands. As an online resource, it is a valuable service, with a high reuse potential, based on its coverage, taxonomic scrutiny --carried out by taxonomic experts in the different groups-- and validation processes of the associate information (location, habitat). The other major outcome of the project were the monographs of the covered groups: Aphyllophorales [p.p.](Telleria Melo, 1995), Myxomycetes [p.p.] (Lado & Pando, 1997), Gasteromycetes [p.p.] (Calonge, 1998), Laboulbeniales (Santamaria, 1998, 2003) and Dictiosporic Dothideales (Checa, 2004).These provides description, illustrations, identification keys and additional infomation on the species and taxa included in this database., The general objective of the FMI project was to make a critical flora which enables the identification of fungi naturally growing in the Iberian Peninsula and Balearic Islands (excluding parasites of humans and other mammals). The ultimate object the edition and publication of a series of monographs which will enable the identification of selected fungus groups of the considered region

This dataset contains 127 taxa corresponding to species of Mycetozoa included in the orders Ceratiomyxales, Echinosteliales, Liceales and Trichiales present in the Iberian Peninsula.It is based on the taxonomic and chorological work carried out within the Flora Mycologica Iberica project, which results for this groups were published in :Lado, C. & Pando, F. 1997. Kramer, Madrid, Berlin, StuttgartThis dataset was prepared as one of the deliverables of the GBIF's CESP 20'18 project "Increasing capacities to develop National Species Checklists in the Latin America and the Caribbean Region", to test the set of good practices compiled within the project., This project has been built on the experiences from the GBIF nodes of Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Ecuador, Guatemala, Mexico, Peru and Uruguay, with the associations CyTeD and Andino NET, to conduct a regional project defining consensus procedures for the development of national species checklists. A focus has been placed on achieving compatibility of databases with existing ones. Aiming a for a broad coverage of users, outcomes will be published in Spanish, Portuguese and English. Through a programme to “train the trainers”, knowledge gained from capacity dissemination events can be replicated to national and specific contexts. Additionally, a pilot checklist dataset per country has been be published in the GBIF data network., Este trabajo se realiza gracias al apoyo de diferentes fuentes de investigación y la participación en proyectos nacionales y/o regionales, como se describe a continuación: -El proyecto GBIF CESP 2018-011 se basa en las experiencias de los nodos GBIF de Argentina, Brasil, Colombia, Chile, Ecuador, Guatemala, México, Perú y Uruguay y con las asociaciones CyTeD y Andino NET, para llevar a cabo un proyecto regional que defina procedimientos de consenso para el desarrollo de listas de verificación de especies nacionales. Se centrará en lograr la compatibilidad de las bases de datos con las existentes. Este juego de datos recoge la Lista de Táxones de la Flora Vascular Española presentada como una tabla adaptada al formato estándar Darwin Core. Comprende las especies y subespecies de flora vascular presentes en la Península Ibérica, Islas Baleares e Islas Canarias, además de sus géneros y familias correspondientes (no se han incluido híbridos). Incluye un total de 10.489 taxones dispuestos en 212 familias, 1399 géneros, 7069 especies y 1813 subespecies. Para su elaboración se ha utilizado como fuente primaria Flora iberica (http://www.floraiberica.es) y ha sido completada con taxones mencionados en la legislación (Atlas y Libros Rojos), así como otras obras donde se recogen taxones canarios, alóctonos u otros aún no tratados por esta obra (ver apartado Citations). Operativamente se entiende que un taxon es un nombre científico con una descripción que lo circunscribe, en este caso, las descripciones vienen referidas por la referencia bibliográfica de las obras (floras, monografías, artículos) que las contienen, no obstante 826 se encuentran provisionalmente sin referencia. Todos los táxones, nombres y referencias bibliográficas vienen acompañadas de sus respectivos identificadores que son de tipo LSID (Life Science Identifiers), y por tanto son únicos, globales, persistentes y resolvibles. Para la asignación de los LSID de nombres científicos se ha utilizado IPNI (http://www.ipni.org). En los casos en que IPNI registra más de una entrada para el mismo nombre (incluido el protólogo), se ha elegido el identificador de la entrada más completa o con menos errores. En caso de discrepancia entre los autores de los nombres científicos entre IPNI y Flora iberica, se ha seguido el criterio de Flora iberica y mantenido el LSID de IPNI. Cuando un nombre no se ha encontrado en IPNI se le ha generado un identificador utilizando el servidor de LSID de GBIF.ES, que llevan de prefijo «urn:lsid:recibio.net:name:». Para la taxonomía se ha seguido en lo posible a Flora iberica (incluyendo las listadas como «Especies que han de buscarse») y subsidiariamente el proyecto Anthos (http://www.anthos.es/). Estas fuentes se han completado con otras atendiendo a criterios de coherencia, relevancia y actualidad., Peer reviewed
