Here we report the abundances of C and N isotopes of individual plants, grasshopper and birds of this study. The nutrient content of plants (%N, C:N ratios) are also shown. These variables are accompanied by geographic coordinates, year of sampling, elevation and sex-age (birds) or sex (grasshoppers) of each sample., Ecosystem functioning depends on nutrient cycles and their responses to abiotic and biotic determinants, with the influence of evolutionary legacies being generally overlooked in ecosystem ecology. Along a broad elevation gradient characterized by shifting climatic and grazing environments, we addressed clines of plant N and C∶N content and of δ13C and δ15N in producers (herbs) and in primary (grasshoppers) and secondary (birds) consumers, both within and between species in phylogenetically controlled scenarios. We found parallel and significant intra- and interspecific trends of isotopic variation with elevation in the three groups. In primary producers, nutrient and isotope distributions had a detectable phylogenetic signal that constrained their variation along the environmental gradient. The influence of the environment could not be ascribed to any single factor, and both grazing and climate had an effect on leaf stoichiometry and, thus, on the resources available to consumers. Trends in consumers matched those in plants but often became nonsignificant after controlling for isotopic values of their direct resources, revealing direct bottom-up control and little phylogenetic dependence. By integrating ecosystem and mechanistic perspectives, we found that nutrient dynamics in food webs are governed at the base by the complex interaction between local determinants and evolutionary factors., Peer reviewed

Con este proyecto ganador de la XII edición de la Beca “Villa de Tauste”, la investigadora Dña. Leticia Gaspar Ferrer presenta una serie cartográfica formada por 19 mapas, así como el estudio de los suelos tipo que predominan en el término municipal de esta villa., Las series cartográficas responden a la necesidad de facilitar a la sociedad información geográfica, espacial y temática válida para un territorio, ofreciendo un conjunto de mapas individuales, impresos o librerías digitales, cuya publicación y difusión sirven como fuente de información y conocimiento, así como el soporte para el desarrollo de otras investigaciones., El objetivo de este trabajo es elaborar una completa serie cartográfica, digital y georeferenciada, de temática ambiental restringida al término municipal de Tauste. Todo ello con el objetivo de tener una librería digital georeferenciada para su consulta, divulgación y su futura utilización si es preciso, utilizando los programas informáticos conocidos como Sistemas de Información Geográfica, SIG (archivos vectoriales y raster, proyectados)., Este trabajo de investigación se lleva a cabo para el término municipal de Tauste que ocupa una superficie aproximadamente 405 km. La villa de Tauste es un municipio aragonés situado en la provincia de Zaragoza, pertenece a la comarca de las Cinco Villas y está situado a una altitud de 274.7 m por encima del nivel del mar. Delimitada la zona de trabajo al término municipal de Tauste, se ha recopilado toda la información temática y cartográfica necesaria disponible en los servicios públicos de descarga. Trabajo presentado a la International Conference on Organizational Learning Knowledge and Capabilities, celebrada en Valencia (España) del 25 al 27 de Abril de 2012., Although the concept of design management is increasingly important for small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) it is the focus of very few studies. The definition of design management in the literature allows it to be understood as a dynamic capability. This paper investigates this dynamic capability and analyzes its mediating role between organizational learning capability and product innovation. Structural equation modeling was used to test the research hypotheses on a SME data set from the Italian and Spanish ceramic tile industry. The results suggest that organizational learning capability enhances product innovation and that design management capability plays a significant role in determining the effects of organizational learning capability on product innovation., Peer Reviewed
