DATA FROM THE ARTICLE: AN EFFICIENT AND SCALABLE PLATFORM FOR JAVA SOURCE CODE ANALYSIS USING OVERLAID GRAPH REPRESENTATIONS

Data from the article "O. Rodriguez-Prieto, A. Mycroft, F. Ortin. An Efficient and Scalable Platform for Java Source Code Analysis using Overlaid Graph Representations. IEEE Access (8), pp. 72239-72260, 2020. https://doi.org/10.1109/ACCESS.2020.2987631", Although source code programs are commonly written as textual information, they enclose syntactic and semantic information that is usually represented as graphs. This information is used for many different purposes, such as static program analysis, advanced code search, coding guideline checking, software metrics computation, and extraction of semantic and syntactic information to create predictive models. Most of the existing systems that provide these kinds of services are designed ad hoc for the particular purpose they are aimed at. For this reason, we created ProgQuery, a platform to allow users to write their own Java program analyses in a declarative fashion, using graph representations. We modify the Java compiler to compute seven syntactic and semantic representations, and store them in a Neo4j graph database. Such representations are overlaid, meaning that syntactic and semantic nodes of the different graphs are interconnected to allow combining different kinds of information in the queries/analyses. We evaluate ProgQuery and compare it to the related systems. Our platform outperforms the other systems in analysis time, and scales better to program sizes and analysis complexity. Moreover, the queries coded show that ProgQuery is more expressive than the other approaches. The additional information stored by ProgQuery increases the database size and associated insertion time, but these increases are significantly lower than the query/analysis performance gains obtained., This work has been partially funded by the Spanish Department of Science, Innovation and Universities: project RTI2018-099235-B-I00. The first and third authors have also received funds from the University of Oviedo through its support to official research groups (GR-2011-0040).

GC acknowledges financial support of the 2017 Italian Ministry PRIN RX9XXY Project "Biota resilience to global change: biomineralization of planktic and benthic calcifiers in the past, present and future" to E. Erba. AGC is funded by project CGL2017-85118-P of the Spanish Ministerio de Ciencia e Innovacion, the Unidad Cientifica de Excelencia UCE-PP2016-05 of the University of Granada, and the Research Group RNM363 of the Junta de Andalucia., Here, we provide the dataset associated with the research article “Orientation patterns of aragonitic crossed-lamellar, fibrous prismatic and myostracal microstructures of modern Glycymeris shells” [1]. Based on several tools (SEM, EBSD, laser confocal microscopy and FE-SEM) we present original data relative to the microstructure and texture of aragonite crystallites in all Glycymeris shell layers (crossed-lamellar, complex crossed-lamellar, fibrous prismatic and pedal retractor and adductor myostraca) and address texture characteristics at the transition from one layer to the other, identifying similarities and differences among the different layers. Shells were cut transversely, obliquely and longitudinally in order to obtain different orientated sections of the outer and inner layer and of the myostraca. The identification of major microstructural elements was provided by detailed SEM and laser confocal microscopy images. Microstructure and texture characterization was based on EBSD measurements presented as band contrast images and as color-coded crystal orientation maps with corresponding pole figures. Crystal co-orientation was measured with the MUD value. Finally, the distribution of the organic matrix occluded within the outer crossed-lamellar layer was revealed using FE-SEM. These data, besides providing a modern unaltered Glycymeris reference to detect diagenetic alteration in fossil analogs used for paleoenvironmental reconstructions, are useful to better comprehend the mechanisms of bivalve shell formation., 2017 Italian Ministry PRIN RX9XXY Project, Instituto de Salud Carlos III Spanish Government CGL2017-85118-P, Unidad Cientifica de Excelencia of the University of Granada UCE-PP2016-05, Junta de Andalucia RNM363

The complete data sets corresponding to abstracts published in theData Papers section in the journal are published electronically asSupportingInformationintheonlineversionofthisarticleat http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/ecy.3091/suppinfo, Associated data are also available at PANGAEA: https://doi.org/10.1594/PANGAEA.910792, Providing a complete data set with species and trait information for a given area is essential for assessing plant conservation, management, and ecological restoration, for both local and global applications. Also, these data sets provide additional information for surveys or data collections, establishing the starting point for more detailed studies on plant evolution, vegetation dynamics, and vegetation responses to disturbance and management. This data base covers Sierra Nevada mountains (southeastern Spain), a recognized plant biodiversity hotspot within the Mediterranean context. According to previous available data (before this augmented compilation), these mountains host 7% of the 24,000 Mediterranean vascular plants, despite covering just 0.01% of its area. Another characteristic of the Sierra Nevada is the great singularity of its flora, with 95 taxa being endemic to the high-mountain area of Sierra Nevada and surroundings. From these endemic taxa, 70% are endangered by different threats, global warming being a leading cause. We seek to provide a complete and updated database of the flora of the Sierra Nevada mountains (southeast Spain). The goal of the present data set is to compile the names of all the vascular plant taxa inhabiting Sierra Nevada, together with relevant features including taxonomical, morphological-ecological traits, distribution, habitats, abundance, and conservation status. The data were compiled according to all the available information sources on taxonomy, ecology, and plant-species distribution. The resulting data set includes 2,348 taxa belonging to 1,937 species, 377 subspecies, and 34 hybrids, from a total of 756 genera and 146 families represented in the collection. For each taxa, together with taxonomical information (Phylum, Class, Family, Genus, Taxa), we compiled plant traits (life form, spinescence, flower symmetry, flower sexuality, plant gender, androecium:ginoecium ratio, flower color, perianth type, pollinator type, flowering, seed dispersal, and vegetative reproduction), and their environmental association (origin, endemic character, general distribution, substrate, elevation, habitat, local abundance, hygrophilous behavior, and conservation status). All these traits were compiled from all the available information sources, resulting in a complete and updated database for Sierra Nevada vascular flora. This data set provides valuable information on plant traits in an outstanding micro hotspot within the Mediterranean hotspot. This data set can be freely used for non commercial purposes.
