ORIGIN, DESTINATION, AND COMPUTATIONAL POWER ANALYSIS OF REUSED/RECYCLED ICT DEVICES IN THE PANGEA EREUSE CIRCUIT
- Roura Salietti, Mireya
- Navarro Moldes, Leandro
- Meseguer Pallarès, Roc
- Franquesa Griso, David
This dataset captures detailed information from the Pangea circuit of eReuse, launched in 2016 to manage discarded ICT devices from the Barcelona City Council and various public and private institutions. It comprises a sample of 1,616 ICT devices, each assigned a condition score and traced using eReuse software based on the digital passport concept. These devices were donated by 41 entities (36 private and 5 public), refurbished by three reuse centres, and subsequently distributed to 101 intermediary organisations.

REPLICATION DATA FOR: RAW DATA FROM FECAL MICROBIOTA AND HAIR GLUCOCORTICOID CONCENTRATION SHOW ASSOCIATIONS WITH GROWTH DURING EARLY LIFE IN A PIG MODEL (PID2020-113604RB-I00 PROJECT).
- Perez Hernandez, José Francisco
- González-Solé, Francesc
Raw data from publication González-Solé et al. Nutrients 2022, 14, 4639.
The aim of this study was to identify if a differential growth during lactation and/or the nursery period may be associated with fecal microbiota composition and fermentation capacity, as well as to leave a print of glucocorticoid biomarkers in the hair. The dataset provides these values collected in in extreme growth piglets at the end of the nursery period.
70 pigs with slow growth during lactation and 81 pigs with fast growth during lactation were weighed again at the end of nursery period (d62 of life). Then, pigs with slow growth during the nursery period from each subset and also pigs with fast growth during the nursery period were chosen, obtaining four groups as a factorial design. At the end of the nursery period (d63), fecal and hair samples were collected from the
piglets included in the study to analyze cortisol and cortisone in hair, Short-Chain Fatty Acid, and 16S rRNA Gene Sequencing.

PHASE IRREGULARITY: A CONCEPTUALLY SIMPLE AND EFFICIENT APPROACH TO CHARACTERIZE ELECTROENCEPHALOGRAPHIC RECORDINGS FROM EPILEPSY PATIENTS [SOURCE CODE AND WORKSPACES]
- Espinoso, Anaïs
- Andrzejak, Ralph Gregor
This dataset provides you with the source codes and results underlying the manuscript: Espinoso A and Andrzejak RG. 2022. Phase irregularity: A conceptually simple and efficient approach to characterize electroencephalographic recordings from epilepsy patients. Phys. Rev. E. 105, 034212. In order to understand the source code, you should first read the manuscript. All the detailed information explaining how to use the source code and how the results are organized can be found in the readme file.
The code is done using MATLAB and it uses the same notation for mathematical symbols as in the manuscript. Additional comments can be found throughout the source code. The code files starting by "EA" are done for obtaining the results of the manuscript Espinoso 2022. The code files starting by "ASR" were used for obtaining surrogates and filter the signals. If you use these last mentioned codes, please cite the following paper:
Andrzejak RG, Schindler K, Rummel C. Nonrandomness, nonlinear dependence, and nonstationarity of electroencephalographic recordings from epilepsy patients. Phys. Rev. E, 86, 046206, 2012
To get started with the code for obtaining the EEG results open EA_EEG_Main.m, and for the Rössler results open EA_Rossler_Main.m. We have tested the code, and to the best of our knowledge it has no bugs. In case you have any questions or problems, please contact us.
The same results obtained in the paper for the EEG and Rössler are available in MATLAB format. Please, read the important remark in the readme file. If you run the analysis using the codes provided here, you will not get identical results as in the paper. This is the reason why we provide the identical results here.

INUAS-BR: INDICATORS TO EVALUATE THE NATIONAL URBAN AGENDA'S IMPACT ON SUSTAINABLE URBAN GROWTH IN BRAZIL
- Pierri Daunt, Ana Beatriz
- Domingo, Darío
- 志超, 何
- Hersperger, Anna M
This dataset contains a multi-dimensional set of indicators considering socio-economic and land change factors (Table 1, metadata). Our indicators span 27 Brazilian state capitals from 1990 to 2020. We acquired variables from different sources to illustrate the land change and socio-economic transformation in two periods of analysis for all studied cities (1990-2000 and 2000-2020). The indicators are: Human development index, Gini index, gross domestic product (GDP), population density, % of basic services provision (sewage, electricity, water provision and garbage collection), Housing units, Inhabitants per housing units, total urban land area, percentage of new urban land classified as infilling, edge-expansion and outlining, urban density, urbanisation speed or annual growth rate (AUEII), Urban compactness, agricultural land use, pasture land use, mosaic land use, Shannon Index. The indicators can be used to evaluate other policies aimed at developing more sustainable and just cities.
