The dataset includes four curcumin-loaded nanoparticle formulations (CO-LLN, MG-LLN, HPO-SLN, and CN-SLN) differing by lipid type. Each formulation was characterized for particle size, ζ-potential, and physical stability. In vivo data were collected from 16 female Sprague Dawley rats divided into four treatment groups, each receiving 250 mg/kg curcumin orally. Biological samples included plasma, gastrointestinal segments, liver, kidney, and adipose tissues. Curcumin and its metabolites were quantified in these samples using LC-ESI–MS/MS. Overall, the dataset integrates formulation parameters, physicochemical properties, and in vivo biodistribution profiles of curcuminoids.

Structure-Based Model (SBM) simulations for the folding process of the FoxP1 protein using the SBMOpenMM library. Fifteen equilibrium replicas of 10 μs each were carried out at the folding temperature of the system. Each folder contains the trajectory, forcefield parameters, and energy file for each simulated replica.

ANALYZING SHORT-TERM ACCOMMODATION PLATFORMS' INFLUENCE ON THE HOUSING AFFORDABILITY IN THE GLOBAL URBAN DESTINATIONS. CLUSTER ANALYSIS

  • Bissacco, Carlo Alberto
  • Meseguer, Antoni
  • Lladós, Josep
  • Morales, Soledad
  • Garay, Lluís
In the last decade, the housing markets of most major globalized urban destinations have progressively deteriorated, evidenced by a decrease in the availability and affordability of housing. Based on previous findings at city level and using k-means cluster analysis, this work reveals the influence of short-term-accommodation platforms (STAP) in this issue in the case of Barcelona, showing that the increase in housing rental prices is particularly significant in the "highly touristified", "trendy" or "more affluent" neighborhoods, where Airbnb listings are concentrated, and rental management is professionally handled. Moreover, this rise in prices is associated with the displacement of some of these neighborhoods' residents to other metropolitan areas, driving up their house prices. Based on these findings, we suggest adopting a management approach that considers the neighborhood as a management unit when designing the necessary regulations for housing and STAP supply. The present dataset shows the full list of articles analysed. The dataset, and ods file, is composed by the following sheets: 1. Codebook 2. Database

Data base containing data on the triacylclgyerol profile of genuine and adulterated olive oils obtained by Flow Injection Analysis-Heated Electrospray Ionisation-High Resolution Mass Spectrometry (FIA-HESI-HRMS). Data (total ion chromatograms) were obtained and used by Quintanilla-Casas et al. (Food Control, 2021, 123: 107851). Data correspond to relative abundances obtained for each mass signal that agreed with single positive charged sodium molecular ions and that could match with a triacylglycerol elemental formula (mass tolerance error set at 5ppm; molecular formulae calculation performed with Xcalibur 4.1. (Thermo Fisher Scientific, Bremen, Germany). This data base includes samples used in the study that were obtained by the OLEUM consortium. Samples included genuine olive oils, as well as Taylor-made adulterations blending genuine olive oils with other vegetable oils as adulterants (sunflower oli; soy oil; high oleic sunflower oil; avocado oil (refined and virgin); hazelnut oil (refined and virgin)). Blind samples are also included in the data base. Partial Least Squares-Discriminant Analysis (PLS-DA) was applied to these data to develop two independent binary models that discriminated between (i) genuine oils and blends with ≥2% of HL adulterants, and (ii) genuine oils and blends with ≥5% of HO adulterants, as described in Quintanilla-Casas et al., 2021.

Data base containing SPME-GC-MS raw analytical data (total ion chromatograms, not aligned) obtained and used by Quintanilla-Casas et al. (Foods, 9: 1509). Data correspond to the volatile fingerprint of 305 authentic and traceable virgin olive oil samples produced in several EU and non-EU countries during two consecutive crop years (2016–2017 and 2017–2018), and to the information on the sensory attributes, defects and the olive oil category assigned by six official sensory panels in the framework of OLEUM project (EC H2020 Programme 2014–2020). Briefly, data correspond to SPME-GC-MS scan intensities of the total ion chromatogram at each retention time from 5.5 to 61.96 min. These data were aligned and used to in-house validate the analytical fingerprint and to validate the screening tool to support virgin olive oil sensory panels. This screening tool was a PLS-DA classification apporach to discriminate the virgin olive oil categories (extra virgin, virgin and lampante olive oil).

REPLICATION DATA FOR: QUANTIFICATION AND ERROR ANALYSIS OF STUDENT ABSENTEEISM IN AN ONLINE COURSE

  • Ikhouane El Moustachir, Faycal
  • Jiménez Jiménez, María José
This dataset contains anonymized attendance and grade data used in the article “Quantification and error analysis of student absenteeism in an online course”. The data come from an online course in Algebra and Multivariable Calculus taught during the COVID-19 period at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. Attendance was quantified from synchronous online class reports and converted into continuous attendance indices. The dataset also includes the variables needed to reproduce the descriptive statistics, error analysis, attendance evolution, histograms, and correlation analysis reported in the article. All student identifiers have been removed or anonymized. The dataset is intended to allow reproducibility of the numerical results and figures presented in the article.

We examined the realized, retrospective and predicted niches separately for J. phoenicea s.s., J. turbinata and J. canariensis and for the entire J. phoenicea complex. Additionally, we analysed separately the data from the groups of localities of J. turbinata detected in the genetic study. Juniperus phoenicea complex (ENT), J. phoenicea s.s. (PHO), J. canariensis (CAN) and J. turbinata (TUR); four different parts of J. turbinata’s geographic range: Atlantic (TURAT), central and west Mediterranean (TURCM), east Mediterranean (TUREM) and the Arabian Peninsula (TURAR). The model was evaluated with ENMeval R software. We used 10 k-fold spatial partitions for each species presence record and evaluated models with the following feature classes: linear, quadratic, hinge, product and threshold, and the following values of regularization multipliers: 0.5, 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5, and 4. Bioclimatic variables were obtained from the WorldClim 2.1 database (http://worldclim.org/) and Paleoclim (http://www.paleoclim.org/). We used: Last Interglacial period (LIG), Last Glacial Maximum climate (LGM) and Mid-Holocene (MH), present and the predicted warming in scenarios RCP2.6 and RCP8.5. Data on the occurrence of the J. phoenicea complex was obtained from the Global Biodiversity Information Facility (GBIF.org), the literature, herbaria and the authors’ field notes.
