Higher Education is the driving force behind the social and economic development of countries, the ultimate aim of which is to provide quality academic training. At present, teaching-learning models in virtual environments imply important challenges, specifically in the current situation of the COVID-19 health crisis. Some of these challenges will be addressed in this paper. In this study we worked with 224 third-year undergraduate students in Health Sciences degrees over two academic years during the pandemic situation. The objectives were 1) to check whether there were significant differences in student satisfaction with the teaching process in the first year of the pandemic (e-Learning teaching) vs. the second year (b-Learning teaching); 2) to check whether there were significant differences in academic results between the two groups. A quantitative research (a 2x2 factorial design and ANOVA and ANCOVA analyses were applied) and a qualitative research (a comparative design and categorisation analysis and co-occurrence analysis were applied) were carried out. The results indicate differences in some aspects of satisfaction and learning outcomes in favour of teaching in the second year. Students rated positively the use of active methodologies and technological resources, although they concluded that these required more work time., Junta de Castilla y León a los Grupos de Investigación reconocidos, call 2019 Nº BU032G19 GIR DATAHES y Proyect “Self-Regulated Learning in SmartArt Erasmus+ Adult Education” financiado por la European Commission, call 2019 Nº 2019-1-ES01-KA204-095615

DATASET OF THE PAPER “SELECTION OF INVESTMENT PORTFOLIO WITH SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY: A MULTI-OBJECTIVE MODEL AND A TABU SEARCH METHOD”. APPLIED INTELLIGENCE, 52, 15785-15808

In this study, a model for the selection of investment portfolios is proposed with three objectives. In addition to the traditional objectives of maximizing profitability and minimizing risk, maximization of social responsibility is also considered. Moreover, with the purpose of controlling transaction costs, a limit is placed on the number of assets for selection. To the best of our knowledge, this specific model has not been considered in the literature to date. This model is difficult (NP-Hard), and therefore, only very small instances may be solved in an exact way. This paper proposes a method based on tabu search and multiobjective adaptive memory programming (MOAMP) strategies. With this method it is possible to obtain sets of nondominated solutions in short computational times. To check the performance of our method it is compared with adaptations of the nondominated sorting genetic algorithm (NSGA-II), strength Pareto evolutionary algorithm (SPEA-II) and multiobjective particle swarm optimization(MOPSO). The results of different computational experiments show that our tabu search-MOAMP method performed best. The quality of the sets of solutions that were obtained and the speed of execution mean that our tabu search-MOAMP can be used as a tool for financial assessment and analysis (including online services). This tool, as we can see in this work with some examples, can take into account the social concerns of many clients and their overall risk profile (very conservative, conservative, moderate, or fearless). This approach is also in line with current legal regulations that oblige financial advisors to take the client profile into account to provide greater protection and propose good financial advice., This work was partially supported by FEDER funds and the Spanish Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness (Projects PID2019-104263RB-C44 and PDC2021– 121021-C22), the Regional Government of “Castilla y León”, Spain (Projects BU329U14 and BU071G19), the Regional Government of “Castilla y León” and FEDER funds (Projects BU062U16, COV2000375 and BU056P20).

APNEA HRV DATASET

The HuGCDN2014 database was provided by the sleep unit of the Dr. Negrín University Hospital (Canary Islands, Spain). It is made up of 77 single-lead ECG recordings, digitized at 200 Hz. The labeling process was performed by an expert based on the simultaneous polysomnography, indicating the presence or absence of apnea in each minute. The database is divided into two groups: 1º) CONTROL: Forty healthy subjects with an AHI lower than 5 (30 men and 10 women). 2º) APNEA: Thirty-seven OSA patients with an AHI higher than 25 (30 men and 7 women). The learning set (L) consists of the first 20 recordings of control subjects and the first 18 OSA patients. The rest belong to the test set (T). The single-lead ECG signal is divided into 5-minute frames, that are shifted in time in increments of 1 minute. The scoring for each segment is assigned to the minute located in the middle position. The RR interval series is constructed as a sequence of time differences between the successive heartbeats.

Dades primàries associades a l'article publicat a EClinicalMedicine, vol. 32 [https://doi.org./10.1016/j.eclinm.2020.100720], The trial was conducted in the Pamplona metropolitan area (Navarra, Spain). Patients were enrolled between July 31, 2020 and September 11, 2020 and randomized in a 1:1 ratio to ivermectin (400 mcg/kg) single oral dose or placebo. Assessments on enrollment and at days 4, 7, 14, 21 and 28 post treatment included: general symptoms report, physical examination and adverse events. All patients were asked to complete a daily online diary of symptoms from day 1 to 28 post treatment. On enrollment, as well as on days 7 and 14 blood samples were obtained to assess full blood count, C reactive protein, procalcitonin, ferritin, creatinine phosphokinase, lactic dehydrogenase, troponin T, D dimer, IL-6, and renal function. Viral loads were calculated at enrollment and on days 4, 7, 14 and 21 post treatment based on a nasopharyngeal swab for SARS-CoV-2 PCR (for genes N and E). A semi-quantitative serology for IgG against SARS-CoV-2 was done on samples from all patients on day 21 post-treatment.
