ROMAN CIRCUS OF TARRAGONA: ANCIENT ROMAN CITY (3D MODEL)

  • Macias Solé, Josep Maria
  • Puche Fontanilles, Josep Maria
  • Fernández Pino, Iván
This dataset contains the archives to reproduce the three-dimensional model of the Roman Circus of Tarragona in Roman times. Its location was an atypical case because it preferred to occupy large extramural spaces to reduce the costs of expropriation and construction, and thus achieve a broad hypodrome. As construction proceeded alongside the entire 2nd-century BC city wall, connectivity between the two parts of the city was disrupted. It ended in the time of Domitian and was in use until the 5th century, occupying an area of 4 hectares. The Circus became the junction between the residential city and the superior political-religious imperial complex. The ZIP folder contains 12 files corresponding to the 3D archive, raw textures, and processed textures; in FBX, JPG and JPEG format; as well as a README file.,

ROMAN CIRCUS OF TARRAGONA : MEDIEVAL CITY (3D MODEL)

  • Macias Solé, Josep Maria
  • Puche Fontanilles, Josep Maria
  • Fernández Pino, Iván
This dataset contains the archives to reproduce the three-dimensional model of the Roman Circus of Tarraco in the Middle Ages. With the medieval reoccupation of Tarragona in the 13th century, the Circus environment was suburbanized by the construction of a new wall, which took advantage of the dividing wall between the old Circus and the Provincial Forum, becoming a suburb until the 14th century, when the area was finally fully urbanized. It is now part of the historic centre. The ZIP folder contains 12 files corresponding to the 3D archive, unprocessed textures, and processed textures; in FBX, JPG and JPEG format; as well as a README file.,

DATA OF OLEOGELS IN TERMS OF THERMAL AND TEXTURAL PROPERTIES AND OIL BINDING CAPACITY

  • Ramezani, Mohsen
  • Salvia Trujillo, Laura
  • Martín Belloso, Olga
Each Excel file contains a brief description of the data. The thermal properties of the (≈ 10 mg) oleogels were measured by differential scanning calorimetry (Mettler-Toledo, STARe SYSTEM DSC 3+, Barcelona, Spain) from -25 to 80 °C at a rate of 1 K·min-1. For textural analysis, an aliquot of 15 g of molten oleogels were placed into a cylindrical plastic container with 30 mm diameter and 42 mm height and the penetration force was measured in-situ after 24 hours of their preparation using a Texture Analyzer TA.XT Plus (Stable Micro System, England) equipped with Texture Exponent Software V. 5.1.1.0. The OBC values of oleogels were determined by centrifugation. An Eppendorf tube containing approximately 1.0 g of oleogel was centrifuged at 25°C and 9000 rpm for 30 minutes and the released oil was decanted into cotton wool while the tube was upside-down vertically for 1 hour and OBC (%) of oleogel was calculated.

PHOENICIAN POTTERY IN SANT JAUME (ALCANAR, CATALONIA)

  • Buxeda Garrigos, Jaume
  • Miguel Gascón, Eva
These data correspond to the chemical and mineralogical analyses conducted on a sample of 58 individuals of wheel-thrown pottery that has been analysed by X-ray fluorescence (XRF), and X-ray diffraction (XRD). These analyses were conducted in the frame of an archaeometric project to characterise the provenance and technology of these ceramics recovered at the settlement of Sant Jaume (Alcanar, Catalonia). Sant Jaume is one of the most important reception sites of the Phoenician pottery imports in the NE Iberian Peninsula during the Early Iron Age (800-550 BC) and reflects the trade from the western Phoenician colonies of Southern Andalusia and Ibiza, though the origin of most ceramics remains to be determined.

FOOD CRAVING-LIKE EPISODES DURING PREGNANCY ARE MEDIATED BY ACCUMBAL DOPAMINERGIC CIRCUITS

  • Haddad-Tóvolli, Roberta
  • Claret, Marc
Food cravings for high-palatable foods are highly prevalent during pregnancy and contribute to the maintenance and development of gestational overweight and obesity. However, the neurobiology and molecular mechanisms underlying this distinct ingestive behavior remain unknown. We have shown that mice, similar to humans, also experience gestational food craving-like episodes. These are associated with a functional brain connectivity reorganization affecting key components of the dopaminergic mesolimbic circuitry. Pregnancy engages a dynamic modulation of dopaminergic signaling through dopamine receptor type 2 (D2R) neurons of the nucleus accumbens, which directly modulate food craving-like events. Importantly, persistent maternal food craving-like behavior has intergenerational effects thus deteriorating offspring neuropsychological and metabolic health. Our results reveal the cognitively motivated nature of pregnancy food cravings and advocates for moderating emotional eating during gestation.

FOUR THESAURUS BRAND PERSONALITY DICTIONARIES

  • Hassan, Mohamed Abdalla Elsayed
  • Zerva, Konstantina
  • Aulet Serrallonga, Sílvia

This study presents a new BP dictionary that aiding in including most of the items that may be of prominent relevancy to various studies and still within the five personality categories of Aaker’s (1997) five dimensions, namely the 'Four Thesaurus Dictionaries'.

This study established a new dictionary parallel and similar to Pitt’s dictionary by the use of four online dictionaries: 'Power Thesaurus' (www.powerthesaurus.org), 'OneLook Thesaurus' (www.onelook.com/thesaurus), 'Thesaurus Dictionary' (www.thesaurus.com), and 'Merriam Webster' (www.merriam-webster.com). The main idea here is that each dictionary may include more unique words, so using four sources aids in expanding the number of synonyms. The four online dictionaries were selected due to the fact that they arranged the synonyms of specific keywords based on their level of similarity, thus they are prominent in providing similarity rankings for the target keywords. This four-dictionary ranking of keywords was beneficial when extracting synonyms for Aaker’s items as each synonym is colour coded according to where is ranked in relation to a specific keyword. By colour-coding the keyword, it can then be placed in Aaker’s five dimensions according to its relevance. These dictionaries were coloured to show that the closer the similarity to one of the 42 traits in Aaker, the darker the colour. The colour code technique way is inspired by the way Thesaurus and OneLook dictionaries prioritize the degree of similarity between synonyms. An example can be found in the following URLs accessed on 25 May 2021: www.thesaurus.com/browse/unique; www.onelook.com/thesaurus/?s=unique. therefore, this technique aided in constructing four dictionaries (hereafter: 4-Thesaurus BP dictionaries), and their entire set of adjectives was classified according to the degree of relevance to one of the 42 traits within the five personality categories. Furthermore, From psychology studies, 18,337 non-redundant personality items were collected from Goldberg (1982), Saucier (1997), Norman (1963), and Allport and Odbert (1936) hereafter called psychology dictionaries. Allport and Odbert (1936) are the first to hypothesise that personality inhabits natural language terms, and their dictionary figures prominently in the development of the Big Five (Caprara, Barbaranelli, and Guido 2001). Therefore, The use of these psychology dictionaries aids in filter the Four Thesaurus dictionaries and keeping items that were agreed with psychology studies, which means that they were checked previously for their validation. To notify, in addition to the three psychology studies’ items used first by Fischer et al. (2020), this study also used 2,800 items from Norman (1967), who refined and structured the Allport traits. This technique enables this study to provide the Updated Thesaurus Dictionaries.
