  • Guerrero Conejo, Antonio Francisco
Oleogelation has been proposed as a promising strategy to replace unhealthy fats, as well as to encapsulate water-insoluble bioactive compounds in food matrices. Consequently, the development of thermoreversible oleogels may play an important role in the bioavailability and biostability of functional foods and the beneficial effects associated with them. Experimental data of the viscoelastic behavior of oleogels obtained from refined sunflower oil and a commercial food additive (E471) are shown. This data comprises of: i) Data of frequency sweeps at 20, 45 and 60 ºC for systems containing 0-5 wt% of E471; ii) Small Amplitude Oscillatory Shear (SAOS) tests as cooling ramps (60-20 ºC) for systems containing 2-5 wt% of E471;iii) Some rheological paramenters (G* and tan delta) obtained from these two former data groups; and iv) Data of SAOS test resulting from applied thermal cycles (60-20-60) to systems containing 2-5 wt% of E471 and the thermal cycle (60-20-37) to the system containing 3 wt%.

CONDICIONES TÉRMICAS DE UN EDIFICIO TIPO DE VIVIENDA SOCIAL EN OSCILACIÓN LIBRE EN 6 LOCALIDADES DE ECUADOR EN LA SITUACIÓN CLIMÁTICA ACTUAL Y PROYECCIÓN A 2050 Y 2100 [DATASET]

  • Delgado Gutiérrez, Evelyn Yaneth
  • Rubio Bellido, Carlos
  • Canivell, Jacinto
This dataset is part of a study that analyzes the thermal conditions in terms of comfort of two homes in the same building that is part of the Casa para Todos program in Ecuador, in 6 different climatic zones in the current climate situation and in the projection to 2050 and 2100 in the RCP 2.6, RCP 4.5 and RCP 8.5 scenarios. The aim of the study is to analyze the building performance, in this case, the adaptive comfort model of ASHRAE 55-2020 has been applied to establish the comfort ranges of each of the climate zones in each scenario. The results show that, due to the environmental conditions of the different areas studied, in each of them it is possible to analyze the performance of the buildings in free oscillation with adaptive comfort ranges, then a great variation between the two houses in the same climatic zone was observed, being the houses on the ground floor the ones that mostly presented a better performance. The dataset provides detailed information for each locality. It was necessary to obtain the climatic files with the Meteonorm computer program and the subsequent energy simulation of the building in DesignBuilder and EnergyPlus. El dataset recoge los datos horarios de temperaturas del aire exterior, temperatura operativa de las dos viviendas y límites de confort (ASHRAE 55-2020) en cada una de las localidades a 2020, 2050 RCP 2.6, RCP 4.5 y RCP 8.5 y, 2100 RCP 2.6, RCP 4.5 y RCP 8.5., The dataset contains information obtained from the simulation of a prototype of houses in Ecuador belonging to the "Casa Para Todos" program in the current climate situation and the projection to 2050 and 2100 in each of the three scenarios RCP 2.6, RCP 4.5 and RCP 8.5. The simulations have been developed with DesignBuilder V7 and EnergyPlus V8.9.0. Data on outdoor air temperature in °C, indoor operative temperature in °C and comfort limits according to ASHRAE 55-2020 are included.

DATASET FOR THE PREPARATION OF THE MANUSCRIPT 'SPIN-CROSSOVER FE(II) COMPLEXES ON A SURFACE: A MIXTURE OF LOW-SPIN AND HIGH-SPIN MOLECULES AT LOW TEMPERATURE FROM QUANTUM-CHEMISTRY CALCULATIONS'

  • Sánchez de Armas, María Rocío
  • Jiménez Calzado, Carmen
This dataset supports the theoretical study of the deposition of a monolayer of an Fe(II) spin-crossover [Fe((3,5-(CH3)2Pz)3BH)2] complex on a Au(111) substrate, with different proportions of HS/LS molecules. Our results indicate that there exist both thermodynamic and kinetic factors favoring the presence of a mixed HS/LS state at low temperature. The pure LS phase and a mixed spin state with 1/3 of HS molecules are close in energy, and the transition from this mixed spin state to the pure LS is hindered by the highest activation barrier in the transition from the HS to LS phase. The presence of the surrounding molecules of the 2D superstructure facilitates the transition from the LS to HS state and the interaction between the molecular layer and the surface increases with the proportion of HS molecules, in line with the epitaxial growth of the monolayer and its similarities with the (01 ) plane of the HS bulk molecular crystal. The density of states resulting from the rPBE calculations is used to simulate STM images. An excellent agreement is found between the simulated STM images for the mixed state with 1/3 of HS molecules and the images acquired at a constant height for a submonolayer of this Fe(II) complex on Au(111)., HSHSHS.CONTCAR HSHSHS.INCAR LSHSHS.CONTCAR LSHSHS.INCAR LSLSHS.CONTCAR LSLSHS.INCAR LSLSLS.CONTCAR LSLSLS.INCAR
