Medalla en torno al mito de Sísifo, exhibida en la exposición organizada por la Federación Internacional de Medalla Artística, FIDEM y el Museo Estatal de Munich (Alemania). Bajo el título "Nuestros mitos, nuestras raices" se recoge una muestra de medallas artísticas realizadas por artistas de 27 países. La medalla Sísifo fue una de las piezas seleccionadas para representar a la delegación de España.

Corona discharge and total discharge from the tip of a copper wire. The ground plane is placed at 15 cm from the tip. The voltage needed to break the air insulation is around 87 kV.

Corona glow in a high-voltage cable at 17 kV and in a typical connector tip at the end of the cable. This picture was taken to test if the connector would affect in the measurements of partial discharges in radio-frequency with antennas.

Surface discharges and electric-arc on a polyethylene layer. The cylindric electrode is connected to a high-voltage source. As the voltage is raised, partial discharges appear at the base of the electrode giving a faint purple glow. A further increase in the voltage creates short arcs that do not reach the ground metallic plane. Finally, for voltages above 14 kV, the arcs are able to shortcircuit the electrode to ground.

A 53-year-old male patient was examined following incidental observation of an unsuspected mass on a chest X-ray. Computed tomography scan and videothoracoscopy revealed a solid pleural mass. A subsequent bone scan demonstrated multifocal radiotracer uptake within coarse intratumoral calcifications. En este artículo argumento que dicho imaginario se entiende mejor como una representación de la violencia que permite acceder al conocimiento mediante la representación de la monstruosidad y el abyecto de la mujer. INTRODUCTION: OHVIRA syndrome is a rare entity characterized by renal and Mullerian anomalies. The objective of the video is, through a clinical case, to discuss the importance of diagnosis, management and treatment, to avoid the complications that this syndrome entails, and to improve the long-term prognosis. MATERIALS AND METHODS: We report the case of a 10-year-old girl who consulted for abdominal pain, being diagnosed with OHVIRA syndrome. We describe the diagnosis and the surgical technique. In addition, we perform a systematic review in PubMed to report the published literature of this topic and we show the optimal management of this pathology.

Experimental data of copper leaching kinetics from non-pulverized printed circuit boards are compiled. They consist of the leached copper values as a function of time for the different tests performed. The copper concentrations were measured by atomic absorption spectrophotometry. Moreover, scanning electron microscope photomicrographs and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy data of a PCB sample has been included.
