Database used for the research entitled Computational Thinking and Programming with Arduino in Education: A Systematic Review for Secondary Education.
The development of programming skills and computational thinking in the formal educational context is one of the most recent horizons set by many educational systems worldwide. Although the first computational thinking initiatives are being applied from the earliest school ages, this research focuses on the secondary education level. Specifically, the objective is the following: to analyse the implementation of Arduino, as well as the benefits and opportunities it brings to secondary school students. For this purpose, documentary research has been undertaken applying a systematic review according to the PRISMA 2020 framework following the PiCoS strategy. Atlas.ti 9 was used to analyse the information. Out of 316 papers identified, 37 were included in the research. In relation to the results, Arduino is primarily used in technology and physics subjects, although it is also used to develop interdisciplinary STEAM projects. As a rule, it is used to learn programming languages, but likewise as a resource to develop science experiments. LED lights, servomotors and breadboards are among the most commonly used resources together with the Arduino board. and Scratch was the most widely used software. The initiatives implemented have yielded both positive and negative results, for example, one drawback is that some projects are very difficult, and some achievements such as: increased motivation towards the contents addressed or also the development of some soft skills, such as problem solving., Grupo de Investigación EducaTech-XXI "Educación y Tecnología para el siglo XXI" (SEJ-666)

Firstly, we pay attention on how it is possible to determine their surface composition by means of electrokinetics measurements. On the other hand, we provide experimental evidences for a better understanding of the factors that determine the interactions of these nanoparticles with cells as a necessary step to guide the design of the most effective formulations. Additionally, we supply information about encapsulation efficiency of docetaxel, a potent chemotherapy drug, inside nanocapsules supporting the experimental cytotoxicity results of these nanosystems., European Union (EU)

LONG TERM STUDY OF THE SCHUMANN RESONANCE REGULAR VARIATIONS USING THE SIERRA NEVADA STATION GROUND-BASED MAGNETOMETERS. DATA
- Salinas Extremera, Alfonso|||0000-0003-0899-1702
We present the data of a study of the Schumann Resonance (SR) regular variations (March 2013 – February 2017) using the ground-based magnetometers from the Sierra Nevada station, Spain (37◦02’N, 3◦19’W). The study is based on the fitting parameters obtained by the Lorentzian fit, calculated for each 10-min interval record, namely, peak amplitudes, central frequencies, width of the resonances and the power spectrum integral for the first 3 SR modes. We consider three time-scales in the study: seasonal, monthly and daily variations. The processed data collected by the Sierra Nevada station are also made public with this work.

This "Data in brief" article was funded through Projects CGL2012-33281, CGL2012-32659, CGL2015-66835, and CGL2015-66830, Project RNM-05212 (Secretaria de Estado de I+D+I, Spain), Research Groups RNM-178 and RNM-179 (Junta de Andalucia) and FEDER funds. The research of Sosa-Montes de Oca was supported by a pre-doctoral fellowship from the Spanish Ministry, MINECO (BES-2013-064406)., A high-resolution analysis of the distribution of major and trace elements across the Cretaceous/Paleogene boundary (KPgB) in the distal section of Agost (SE Spain) was performed. The KPgB sediments were drilled to recover a 22 cm-long core; the lower 5 cm corresponding to the uppermost Maastrichtian and the upper 17 cm to the lowermost Danian. The unconsolidated sediments were resin-embedded under O2-free conditions, cut and polished. Laser Ablation-Inductivity Coupled Plasma-Mass Spectrometry (LA-ICP-MS) analyses were conducted at 10 µm increments and a laser-beam of 80 µm. Discrete samples were taken immediately prior to the resin-embedding and analyzed by Inductivity Coupled Plasma-Optical Emission Spectroscopy (ICP-OES). Results obtained by both analytical methods (LA-ICP-MS and ICP-OES) are presented. (Further interpretations and discussion are included in Sosa-Montes de Oca et al., 2018 [6])., Secretaria de Estado de I+D+I, Spain

DATA ON INDIVIDUAL CANDIDATES AND PREFERENCE VOTING IN PARLIAMENTARY ELECTIONS IN LUXEMBOURG AND SWITZERLAND (2013-2023)
- Ortega Villodres, Carmen
- Oñate, Pablo
The datasets contain data on the profile of individual candidates and their electoral success in the last three partliamentary elections in Lusembourg (2013, 2018 and 2023) and the last three elections to the National Council in Switzerland (2015, 2019 and 2023). The data were obtained mainly from the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, the Swiss Federal Statistical Office and other internet resources. The unit of analysis is the individual candidate, and only candidates from parties that were awarded at least one seat in one of the three elections in each country were included (Tables A1 and A2 in the appendix). The total number of cases was 1,260 (420 in each election) in Luxembourg and 11,983 in Switzerland (3,200, 3,827, and 4,956 in each election, respectively)
