MARITAL SATISFACTION, SEX, AGE, MARRIAGE DURATION, RELIGION, NUMBER OF CHILDREN, ECONOMIC STATUS, EDUCATION, AND COLLECTIVISTIC VALUES: DATA FROM 33 COUNTRIES
- Sorokowski, Piotr
- Martínez Gutiérrez, Rocío
This paper was made possible by the funds of Polish National
Science Centre (grant number N N106 012740). In Saudi Arabia,
the research was funded by the Deanship of Scientific Research at
King Saud University, INTRODUCTION
Forms of committed relationships, including formal marriage
arrangements between men and women, exist in almost every
culture (Bell, 1997). Yet, similarly to many other psychological
constructs (Henrich et al., 2010), marital satisfaction and its
correlates have been investigated almost exclusively in Western
countries (e.g., Bradbury et al., 2000). Meanwhile, marital
relationships are heavily guided by culturally determined norms,
customs, and expectations (for review see Berscheid, 1995; Fiske
et al., 1998). While we acknowledge the differences existing both
between- and within-cultures, we measured marital satisfaction
and several factors that might potentially correlate with it based
on self-report data from individuals across 33 countries. The
purpose of this paper is to introduce the raw data available for
anybody interested in further examining any relations between
them and other country-level scores obtained elsewhere. Below,
we review the central variables that are likely to be related to
marital satisfaction., Polish National Science Centre grant number N N106 012740, Deanship of Scientific Research at King Saud University, The data discussed in this manuscript have been deposited
in Figshare repository and is accessible through the following

under the name: “Marital, Sex, Age, Marriage Duration,

deposit contains two files: (1) Marital satisfaction_Data,
a xlsx file containing the raw data, and (2) Marital
satisfaction_Questionnaire, a doc file containing the
questionnaire, along with an exhaustive description of the
column labels in the dataset.

This article contains data related to the research article entitled “Results of genotype–guided antiplatelet therapy in patients undergone percutaneous coronary intervention with stent” (J. Sánchez-Ramos, C.L. Dávila-Fajardo, P. Toledo Frías, X. Díaz Villamarín, L.J. Martínez-González, S. Martínez Huertas, F. Burillo Gómez, J. Caballero Borrego, A. Bautista Pavés, M.C. Marín Guzmán, J.A. Ramirez Hernández, C. Correa Vilches, J. Cabeza Barrera, 2016) (1). This data article reports, for the first time, about the non-randomized clinical trial protocol that check if CYP2C19/ABCB1 genotype–guided strategy in which the choice of antiplatelet therapy is based on the genetic test, reduces the rates of cardiovascular events and bleeding compared to a non-tailored strategy in patients undergone percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) with stent. The data included in this article are: design and setting of the study, study population, inclusion and exclusion criteria, definition of the intervention, objectives, variables (baseline characteristics and during the follow-up), study procedures, collection and treatment of the biological sample, genotyping, withdrawal criteria, sample size, statistic analysis, ethical aspects, information sheet and consent form. The increasing demand and limited availability of fishmeal (FM) have intensified the need for sustainable alternative protein sources in shrimp aquafeeds. This study evalu-ated high FM replacement in juvenile Penaeus vannamei reared under biofloc technology (BFT), integrating in vitro protein digestibility, growth performance, nutrient utilization and microbiome analyses. Six isoproteic and isolipidic diets combined two FM levels (0% and 7.5%) with animal (A), plant (P), or mixed (AP) protein sources, plus a 15% FM control diet were assayed. Plant based diets showed higher in vitro protein digestibility and amino acid release than animal based diets. However, these differences were not reflected in shrimp growth, as final body weight, SGR and survival were similar among dietary treatments. Apparent feed conversion ratio, protein efficiency, and economic performance were improved in shrimp fed the A7.5 and AP7.5 diets, whereas complete FM replacement resulted in poorer performance. Biofloc and shrimp intestinal microbial community composition was primarily driven by temporal succession, whereas dietary protein source modulated the abundance of specific bacterial families. Biofloc and in-testinal communities shared limited taxonomic overlap at the family level, suggesting restricted microbial exchange together with strong habitat and host mediated selection. Overall, these findings indicate that a diet containing 7.5% fishmeal (FM), supplemented with either animal derived proteins or a combination of animal and plant derived pro-tein sources, represents an optimal strategy for juvenile Penaeus vannamei cultured under BFT conditions, maintaining growth performance while preserving intestinal microbial stability and health., This work was supported by the I+D+i Research Project “Optimizing Shrimp Feeding and Nutrition in Biofloc Systems (BioFlango)” (PID2020-114574RB-C21) and by a predoctoral Research Personnel Training Grant awarded to S. [EN] This research work studies the development of an electrochemical cell prototype based on textile electrodes for treating wastewater via electrochemical processes. The present prototype proposes a system that offers greater efficiency regarding the size/surface of electrodes in electrolysis processes. This prototype enables the treatment of large volumes of dissolution. Moreover, this prototype could surface modify textile electrodes by an electrochemical process in the same cell, specifically, an electrochemically reduced graphene oxide intermediate layer and an outer layer of electrochemically reduced metal nanoparticles are proposed. Surface modification by reduced graphene oxide increase the textile electrode’s stability, conductivity, and specific surface, whilst Pt nanoparticles increase electroactivity. Amaranth was selected to validate the use of this prototype in treating emerging pollutants. This is an azoic dye with a simple structure. Various analytical techniques demonstrate that colour removal takes place with an electrical energy consumption of between 0.29 and 4.66 kWh m−3 (depending on the operational specifications of the electrolysis performed). Once the colour is removed, total organic carbon and chemical oxygen demand decreases by up to 49% and 37%, respectively., This research is part of the Spanish R+D+i contract (TED2021-130905B-I00 funded by MCIN/ AEI/10.13039/501100011033 and the “European Union NextGenerationEU/PRTR”). The early intestinal response of Mugil cephalus to fishmeal replacement with alternative protein sources under biofloc technology (BFT) was assessed. Juvenile mullet (82.68 ± 0.05 g) were distributed among three dietary treatments with decreasing fishmeal inclusion levels of 15%, 5%, and 0%, corresponding to FM15, FM5, and FM0, respectively. After 27 days of feeding, intestinal samples were analyzed for microbiota composition, transcriptomic responses and enzymatic activity. The FM0 group exhibited reduced intestinal enzyme activity, whereas no significant differences were observed in terms of gut microbiota among the diets. Furthermore, transcriptomic analysis revealed differentially expressed genes associated with enriched GO terms and KEGG pathways related to lipid metabolism. This response was consistent with the lower mesenteric fat indices and whole-body lipid content observed in fish fed the FM0 diet, suggesting an early metabolic adjustment associated with complete fishmeal replacement and the higher dietary protein content. All diets exhibited high protein efficiency ratios (9.98 ± 2.42) and low feed conversion ratios (0.40 ± 0.17), with no significant differences observed among them. However, complete fishmeal replacement negatively affected intestinal physiology and lipid storage, indicating that these alterations were not fully compensated for by the biofloc system and may not be physiologically sustainable over longer periods. Further studies over an extended period could be carried out to evaluate the long-term effects of these diets., This work was supported by Grant TED2021-129272B-C21, funded by MICIU/AEI/10.13039/501100011033, and by the European Union NextGenerationEU/PRTR and the Generalitat Valenciana (GVA AICO/2021/198).
