REPLICATION DATA FOR: STRUCTURAL HEALTH MONITORING OF JACKET-TYPE SUPPORT STRUCTURES IN OFFSHORE WIND TURBINES: A COMPREHENSIVE DATASET FOR BOLT LOOSENING DETECTION THROUGH VIBRATIONAL ANALYSIS
- Valdez Yepez, Rhandall
- Tutivén, Christian

This dataset is a collection of vibrational data for structural health monitoring, with focus on the detection of bolt loosening in offshore wind turbine jacket foundations. The data set comprises 780 comma-separated values (CSV) files, each corresponding to specific experimental conditions, including various structural states of the wind turbine's support structure. These states are systematically varied considering three main aspects: the amplitude of a white noise (WN) signal, the type of bolt damage, and the level at which damage has occurred.
The data were meticulously collected using eight triaxial accelerometers (PCB R Piezotronic model 356A17), strategically placed at different locations on a scaled-down replica of an offshore jacket-type wind turbine. This setup facilitated the acquisition of detailed vibrational data through a National Instruments’ data acquisition (DAQ) system, comprising six input modules (NI 9234 model) housed in a chassis (cDAQ model). The white noise signal, simulating wind disturbance at the nacelle, was produced by a modal shaker and varied in three amplitudes (0.5, 1, and 2), directly proportional to the induced vibration in the wind turbine.
The conditions include a healthy state (bolts tightened to 12 Nm) and various degrees of loosening (bolts loosened to 9 Nm, 6 Nm, and completely absent), examined at four distinct levels of the turbine's base structure.

Experimental data of the manuscript "Improved biosensing of Legionella by integrating filtration and immunomagnetic separation of the bacteria retained in filters", published in Microchimica Acta, https://doi.org/10.1007/s00604-023-06122-1. This study presents a novel approach that combines filtration and the direct immunomagnetic separation of the retained bacteria Legionella in filters, for further electrochemical immunosensing. This strategy allows for the separation and preconcentration of the water-borne pathogen from high-volume samples, up to 1000 mL. The limit of detection of the electrochemical immunosensor resulted in 100 CFU mL−1 improved to up to 0.1 CFU mL−1 when the preconcentration strategy was applied in 1 L of sample (10^3-fold improvement). Remarkably, the immunosensor achieves the limit of detection in less than 2.5 h and simplifying the analytical procedure. This represents the lowest concentration reported to date for electrochemical immunosensing of Legionella cells without the need for pre-enrichment or DNA amplification. Furthermore, the study successfully demonstrates the extraction of bacteria retained on different filtering materials using immunomagnetic separation, highlighting the high efficiency of the magnetic particles to pull out the bacteria directly from solid materials. This promising feature expands the applicability of the method beyond water systems for detecting bacteria retained in air filters of air conditioning units by directly performing the immunomagnetic separation in the filters.

Experimental data of the manuscript "Mycobacterium detection method combining filtration, immunomagnetic separation, and electrochemical readout in a portable biosensing device", published in Sensors and Actuators B: Chemical, https://doi.org/10.1016/j.snb.2023.135211. This study addresses a straightforward and highly sensitive approach for detecting Mycobacterium fortuitum. The method involves a combination of filtration and direct immunomagnetic separation to isolate the bacteria retained on filters for further electrochemical magneto immunosensing in a handheld device. Unlike conventional methods involving pre-enrichment by culturing, this approach employs a simplified preconcentration technique, which includes filtration of large water samples, up to 100 mL, followed by a one-step process of immunomagnetic separation and labeling. After a 60-min, during which the filter with the retained bacteria and all the reagents (including modified magnetic particles and enzymatic conjugates) are incubated, the resulting product is directly drop into a cartridge, capable of performing magnetic actuation and washing. The electrochemical readout is carried out on a portable battery operated device within 30 sec. Remarkably, the immunosensor demonstrates an outstanding limit of detection of 5 CFU mL-1 in hemodialysis water processing 100 mL of sample. This achievement is remarkable considering the short and simplified analytical procedure, compared to the traditional isolation and culturing of mycobacteria, which typically takes 2 weeks.

Data collected in the framework of the ERC project “Artsoundscapes, the sound of special places: exploring rock art soundscapes and the sacred” (acronym: Artsoundscapes, Grant Agreement No. 787842, PI ICREA Research Professor Margarita Díaz-Andreu). The project focuses on the relationship between archaeoacoustics and rock art. The dataset includes audio files that are the omnidirectional impulse responses gathered in a selection of rock art sites in the Karakol valley (Russian Altai), more specifically, Kara-Too, Torgun, Bichiktu-Bom and Talda. The tables include the acoustic parameter values derived from those impulse responses. Fieldwork was conducted in August 2019, by Margarita Díaz-Andreu, Adriano Farina, Tommaso Mattioli, Laura Coltofean, Elio Smith, Elena Miklashovich and Andrzej Rozwadowski.

Data base containing SPME-GC-MS raw analytical data obtained and used by Quintanilla-Casas et al. (Food Chemistry, 2020, 125556). Data correspond to 82 authentic and traceable olive oil samples, declared as EVOO by the suppliers obtained in the framework of OLEUM project (EC H2020 Programme 2014–2020) from seven different EU and non-EU countries: Croatia (n=11); Slovenia (SVN) (n=8); Spain (ESP) (n=17); Italy (ITA) (n=15); Greece (GRC) (n=6); Morocco (MAR) (n=15) and Turkey (TUR) (n=10). With the aim of reflecting the real production scenario, EVOO samples in this prospective study were obtained under usual production practices for commercial purposes, and thus consisted of both monovarietal oils as well as market blends of olive cultivars typical of each geographical origin. Briefly, data correspond to SPME-GC-MS scan intensities of the specific sesquiterpene hydrocarbon (SH) ions (m/z 93, 107, 119, 135, 157, 159, 161, 189 and 204) obtained from the Total Ion Current (TIC) between the 18th to the 30th minute. Thus, 2467 scans were obtained for each m/z ion implying 22203 variables per sample.
