  • Pozo-Rico, Teresa|||/items/3ec303a6-51f8-4c3f-aa94-b89db43ce13e
This dataset was developed within an international research project examining parenting practices, parental attitudes, family support, and psychosocial factors associated with child and family well-being. The Spanish sample includes responses from 1,008 participants (908 mothers and 100 fathers) collected through a structured questionnaire administered in Spain during 2024–2025. The dataset contains demographic information as well as responses to standardized assessment instruments. These include the IPAQ scale, designed to assess parental attitudes and perceptions, and the GASPS (Global Assessment of Parenting and Support) questionnaire, developed by the Parenting and Family Support Centre at The University of Queensland. The study also incorporated a demographic questionnaire covering key socio-demographic and family-related variables. Responses to the IPAQ scale were recorded using a five-point Likert scale ranging from 1 (Strongly Disagree) to 5 (Strongly Agree), with intermediate categories of 2 (Disagree), 3 (Neither Agree nor Disagree), and 4 (Agree). The dataset has been prepared for statistical analysis and comparative international research on parenting, family functioning, and psychosocial outcomes. The deposited material includes the research database in SPSS and spreadsheet formats, together with the corresponding questionnaires and supporting documentation used during data collection. The purpose of this deposit is to provide evidence of authorship, date of creation, and intellectual ownership of the dataset and associated research materials. Access to the deposited files may be restricted in accordance with data protection requirements and the conditions governing the use of the original instruments.

The folder includes the characterization data of the materials that made it possible to write the article, a summary of whose content is provided next: X-ray diffraction is used to characterize the crystalline composition of TiO2-based materials, but to determine the percentage of amorphous phase by simple calculations and tools is not straightforward. The present study analyzes the use of the software HighScore Plus to perform a complete structural characterization of a large set of TiO2-materials, commercial and prepared in our laboratory by sol-gel and hydrothermal methodologies. The aim is to evaluate not only the crystalline phases content, but also the amorphous phase content. CaF2 is used as a reference material, and its crystallinity is assumed to be 100 %. The comparison of the results obtained with the software HighScore Plus with those of the method developed in our research group by Cano-Casanova et al., based on the deconvolution of the XRD peaks of anatase, brookite, and rutile, has shown that the results of both methods are very similar, and the HighScore Plus software can definitively be used for an easy determination of the amorphous phase content in titanium dioxide, even for materials with the three crystalline phases, rather overlapping peaks, and/or with a high amorphous phase content, which cannot be easily characterized by the method by Cano-Casanova el al. Thus, amorphous phase contents in the 5-51 % range are obtained with the HighScore Plus method, in contrast with 8–47 % for the previously developed methodology. Our study has also highlighted the possibility of using the BET surface area of TiO2-based materials for an easy estimation of the percentage of amorphous phase.

The adsorption performance of ZIF-71 towards two common volatile organic compounds such as chlorobenzene and phenol has been evaluated using a number of experimental techniques and gran canonical Monte Carlo (GCMC) simulations. Experimental results anticipate that ZIF-71 can adsorb large quantities of chlorobenzene, while the adsorption performance for a similar molecule, such as phenol, is reduced one order of magnitude. Synchrotron X-ray powder diffraction patterns confirm the presence of structural changes in ZIF-71 upon exposure to a phenol/water solution, i.e., a phase transition from the open-pore (op) ZIF-71 structure to the narrow-pore (np), highly dense, ZIF-72 phase. Although this phase transition does not occur in the presence of pure water, GCMC simulations suggest that phenol molecules adsorbed at the pore mouth and/or in structural defects promote water accessibility to the inner core of the ZIF-71 microcrystals, thus promoting this thermodynamically favored phase transition. Inelastic neutron scattering (INS) and neutron diffraction (ND) experiments confirm the ZIF-71 to ZIF-72 phase transition, exclusively in the samples exposed to a phenol/water solution. The presence of entrapped water molecules in the inner core of ZIF-71 crystals upon phenol adsorption, even after a drying step, suggests that the phase transition must be initiated in the external surface of the ZIF-71 crystals.
