This dataset provides detailed measurements of the chemical composition and optical properties of dissolved organic matter (DOM) collected along the Ebro and Mero River continua, from the headwaters to the estuarine zones. Samples were collected across different seasons to capture both spatial and temporal variability. The dataset includes the relative abundance of DOM fractions obtained through spectral deconvolution, performed using Gaussian fitting of synchronous fluorescence data, as well as measurements of optical properties and dissolved nutrients. These data enable the exploration of seasonal shifts and spatial gradients in DOM composition, with particular attention to how different land-use and land-cover (LULC) types influence the chemical characteristics of solid-phase extracted DOM obtained using PPL resins (styrene–divinylbenzene polymer with a polar surface modification) along the two Spanish rivers.

Aquest conjunt de dades recull les respostes de docents en formació i docents en actiu de la província de Lleida, obtingudes mitjançant un qüestionari en línia administrat a través de la plataforma EU Survey. El qüestionari incorpora tres instruments validats i adaptats al context català: l’Escala de competència plurilingüe i pluricultural (Galante, 2022), l’Escala de creences del professorat sobre el plurilingüisme (Gorter i Arocena, 2020) i l’Escala de competències docents interculturals (Spanierman et al., 2011). A més, inclou preguntes sobre l’historial lingüístic i social dels participants. L’objectiu del conjunt de dades és analitzar les competències i les creences vinculades al plurilingüisme i a la interculturalitat en l’àmbit educatiu, amb la finalitat d’orientar programes de formació inicial i contínua del professorat i contribuir a la definició de polítiques educatives.

This dataset documents in vitro digestion experiments comparing plant-protein (soy, wheat and pea proteins) stabilized emulsions containing Beta-carotene against a control emulsion stabilized with Tween 80. It consists of spreadsheets detailing colloidal stability (interfacial tension, particle size, zeta potential, viscosity, backscattering intensity), pH-stat monitoring of lipolysis, and Beta-carotene bioaccessibility analysis throughout the initial, gastric and intestinal phases.

This dataset presents the physicochemical and nutritional characterization of beta-carotene-loaded oleogels in the presence of plant proteins (soy, wheat and pea proteins) during in vitro gastrointestinal digestion. The data includes zeta-potential analysis (Phase-Analysis Light Scattering), lipid digestion kinetics assessed through pH-STAT titration of free fatty acids, and beta-carotene bioaccessibility values derived from micellar phase isolation and UV-VIS spectrophotometric quantification against a hexane-based calibration curve. These data provide a quantitative evaluation of the impact of protein addition on the lipid digestibility and nutrient release of oleogel systems.

This dataset includes several figures on the demographics and the composition of seigneurial incomes in the county of Empúries between the mid-14th and end-15th centuries. On the one hand, it contains information on the number of hearths and the estimates of the county’s total population, along with those of the main urban centers in this territory. On the other hand, it provides a detailed picture of the revenues received by the holders of the county’s jurisdiction in the town of Castelló d’Empúries and other places within this seigneurial domain.

Population and socioeconomic datasets used to analyze residential segregation among the main foreign-born population groups in mid-sized cities in inland Spain. The three largest groups are from Morocco, Romania, and Colombia. Detailed data by district sections correspond to three case studies: Lleida, Manresa, and Girona.

This dataset is an outcome of the research project 2023 ARMIF 00005 “La mirada reflexiva en l'ensenyament de llengües: transformar les pràctiques docents a través de l'observació i la retroalimentació entre iguals en la formació inicial de mestres i professorat d'anglès” which investigated the benefits of peer observation and feedback in English language teacher education. The project was funded by the Catalan Research Agency AGAUR (2023-2024), and it revolved around a pedagogical intervention carried out in the English Language Teaching (ELT) Minor of the Primary Education degree and the M.A. programme for Secondary Education Teachers at three different Catalan universities. This intervention aimed at developing pre-service teachers' ELT skills and their feedback literacy through a peer observation cycle with the help of Teacher Input Observation Scheme (TIOS) (Kersten et al., 2018). The dataset comprises the participant perceptions questionnaire administered before and after the intervention as well as the pre-test and post-test data obtained from the closed questions in the English Language Teaching (ELT) Minor of the Primary Education degree. The questionnaire was validated by means of an exploratory factor analysis which yielded three factors explaining 60% of the variance. Factor 1 (Cronbach’s α = .897) includes twelve statements regarding the benefits of classroom observation for different dimensions of teaching practice, following Good et al. (2006) (five-point Likert type scales). Factor 2 (Cronbach’s α = .924) includes seven statements concerning the degree of comfort in participating in peer observation and feedback dynamics, based on Adshead, White and Stephenson (2006) (five-point Likert type scales). Factor 3 (Cronbach’s α = .770) includes five statements on the quality and usefulness of peer feedback, based on Huisman (2018) (five-point Likert scales)., Aquest conjunt de dades és el resultat del projecte de recerca 2023 ARMIF 00005 “La mirada reflexiva en l'ensenyament de llengües: transformar les pràctiques docents a través de l'observació i la retroalimentació entre iguals en la formació inicial de mestres i professorat d'anglès”, que va investigar els beneficis de l'observació entre iguals i de la retroalimentació en la formació dels mestres i professorat d’anglès. El conjunt de dades inclou el qüestionari de percepcions dels participants administrat abans i després de la intervenció, així com les dades del pretest i del posttest obtingudes a partir de les preguntes tancades en la Menció en llengua estrangera (Anglès)(GEP). El qüestionari es va validar mitjançant una anàlisi factorial exploratòria que va generar tres factors que expliquen el 60% de la variància. El Factor 1 (α de Cronbach = .897) inclou dotze afirmacions sobre els beneficis de l’observació a l’aula per a diferents dimensions de la pràctica docent, seguint Good et al. This dataset was produced within the ECAVINAR Project and was used as the empirical basis for the preparation of an academic research article. It contains qualitative analytical materials generated during the research process and organized using ATLAS.ti. The dataset includes an anonymized system of codes and subcodes, a corresponding coding structure, and selected verbatim excerpts of Focus Groups associated with each code. All identifying information has been removed or generalized in order to protect confidentiality and prevent the identification of the study context.
