The transition towards circular food packaging requires not only regulatory compliance but also material and structural harmonization. This study analyzes 163 multilayer films from commercial food packaging available on the European market to quantify structural diversity and assess implications for recyclability. Forty-two distinct multilayer configurations and twenty-seven polymer combinations were identified, with no systematic relationship to food category, film thickness, or functional requirements. Functionally similar packages frequently relied on materially incompatible or over-engineered polymer combinations, revealing a fragmented and non-standardized packaging landscape. Although all analyzed structures comply with current European food-contact regulations (EC 1935/2004 and EU 10/2011), their diversity and incompatibility hinder mechanical and chemical recycling, challenging the objectives of the forthcoming Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR). Overall, the results provide quantitative, market-level evidence of structural redundancy and demonstrate how fragmented design practices undermine design-for-recycling principles and the implementation of circular economy strategies in food packaging., The authors acknowledge with gratitude the financial support received from all funding sources. FRAGMENTOS NARRATIVOS Y AUDIOS LOCUTADOS EN ESPAÑOL PARA ESTÍMULOS VERBALES DE 20 SEGUNDOS PARA RESONANCIA MAGNÉTICA FUNCIONAL (FMRI) BASADOS EN LA LEYENDA TRADICIONAL ALEMANA EL FLAUTISTA DE HAMELIN [DATASET]

SPANISH NARRATIVE FRAGMENTS AND AUDIO RECORDINGS OF 20-SECOND VERBAL STIMULI FOR FUNCTIONAL MAGNETIC RESONANCE IMAGING (FMRI) BASED ON THE TRADITIONAL GERMAN LEGEND *THE PIED PIPER OF HAMELIN [DATASET]

  • Caño Espinel, Manuela del
This dataset was developed as experimental material for research on auditory language processing, music neuroscience and brain plasticity using Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI), This dataset contains a complete set of standardized verbal stimuli developed for Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI) studies investigating auditory language processing. The dataset includes narrative fragments of approximately 20 seconds in duration together with their corresponding audio recordings. The texts were created by Manuela del Caño Espinel from the traditional German legend El flautista de Hamelin, adapting the original narrative to obtain linguistically coherent stimuli with homogeneous duration, natural prosody and controlled lexical complexity. The narrated audio files constitute the experimental stimuli presented during fMRI acquisition, whereas the written document provides the transcription of all stimuli used during the experiment. The materials were developed for research involving children aged 7 to 17 years with neurological disorders and were designed to facilitate standardized auditory presentation across participants.

AUDIO STIMULI AND DATA COLLECTION TEMPLATE FOR THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE TEST OF MUSICAL ABILITIES [DATASET]

  • Caño Espinel, Manuela del
This dataset was developed as research material for studies on music perception, language, cognitive development and brain plasticity in children with neurological disorders., This dataset contains the materials required for the standardized administration of the Test of Musical Abilities developed by Manuela del Caño Espinel. The dataset includes a collection of auditory stimuli presented as audio recordings together with the corresponding data collection template used to register participants' responses. The auditory stimuli were specifically designed to assess different components of musical perception and musical production through auditory discrimination and reproduction tasks. The data collection template provides a standardized format for recording participants' performance during test administration. These materials were developed for research involving children aged between 7 and 17 years with neurological disorders and were designed to ensure standardized assessment procedures across participants.

SEMANTIC FLUENCY RESPONSES IN SPANISH (L1) AND ENGLISH (L2) FROM SPANISH PRIMARY-SCHOOL CHILDREN

  • Suárez-Coalla, María Paz
  • Pérez-Litago, Uxue
  • García Castro, Lucía
  • Esteban Saster, Cristina
  • Galán Ordax, José Manuel
This dataset contains the primary semantic-fluency response sequences used in the analyses of the related article. The participants were 192 Spanish-L1 primary-school pupils in Grades 4-6 learning English as a foreign language. Each child was assigned two semantic categories in Spanish (L1) and two different categories in English (L2) in a crossed design. The categories were animals, fruits, body parts, and clothing. Participants had two minutes per task to write as many category members as possible. The dataset contains 724 participant-language-category tasks and 9,070 written responses. Response order is retained within each task. Original participant codes and the mapping between those codes and the neutral identifiers in this dataset are not deposited., Spanish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, predoctoral grant FPU21/02740.

SUPPLEMENTARY TABLES FOR "FIGHTING SPIRIT, COPING PATHWAYS AND EMOTIONAL DISTRESS ACROSS METASTATIC STATUS"

  • García Alonso, Elena
  • Ubillos Landa, Silvia
  • Crespo Herrero, Guillermo
  • Teso Martín, Beatriz
This repository record contains supplementary statistical tables associated with a cross-sectional study of 360 adults with cancer. The study examined theory-informed conditional direct and indirect associations between fighting spirit and emotional distress through four selected coping responses - active coping, planning, positive reframing, and acceptance - conditional on metastatic status. The supplementary material reports the complete regression coefficients for the mediator and outcome models and sensitivity analyses using anxiety and depression as separate outcomes. Only aggregate statistical results are included; no participant-level data are deposited.
