  • Rojo García-Morato, Carmen
  • Puche Franqueza, Eric
This data set contains results of two microcosm-scale experiments (RADxTEMP and RADxNIT) about variables related to growth, morphology, metabolism and stoichiometric composition of two species of freshwater macroalgae, in particular, charophytes (Chara hispida and C. vulgaris) from two systems (Somolinos Lake in Guadalajara and Quartons Spring in Castellón), thus, 4 populations (2 species x 2 origins). In these factorial-design experiments, individuals of the 4 populations were submitted to 2 levels of radiation, 2 levels of temperature (in RADxTEMP experiment) and 2 levels of nitrate concentration (in RADxNIT experiment). The first sheet contains all metadata. Second and third sheets contain raw data of the considered variables in the experiment (RADxTEMP and RADxNIT, respectively).

BUILDINGS ENERGY DEMAND

  • Cañigueral Maurici, Marc
  • Torrent-Fontbona, Ferran
  • Meléndez i Frigola, Joaquim

The dataset consists on two files. One, called “demand”, which describes the active power demand from 10 different households, in Watts units and hourly resolution. And other, called “generation”, which describes the solar generation considering the current installed PV (photovoltaic) power in each household, in Watts units and hourly resolution. The total peak power installed is 30.5 kWp (Kilowatt-Pico).

Energy consumption profiles from file 'demand.csv' correspond to the same households than the energy production profiles from file 'generation.csv'. For example, 'C1' column in 'demand.csv' and 'G1' column in 'generation.csv' correspond to consumption and generation profiles from Household 1, respectively.

The demand dataset was provided by the DSO (Distribution System Operator). No collection/generation work done by the researchers. The solar generation profile was download from PVGIS (Photovoltaic Geographical Information System) portal, considering the location and the installed peak power of each household.

The study multiplies the data profiles (demand and generation) from the Dataset by different factors according to the scenario. Not other preprocessing than scaling the data.

The date have been produced 2018-07-01.

TIMBRE CLASSIFICATION EXPERIMENTS

  • Ó Nuanáin, Cárthach
This repository contains datasets and scripts for timbre classification experiments conducted as part the Ph.D. thesis. Two datasets were used. The first one concentrates on drum/percussion sounds while the other generalises to orchestral sounds. See the relevant iPython notebooks to re-run experiments. The orchestral sample is quite large, there is a script that pulls N number samples randomly in the folder, for performing smaller analyses. Each episode directory contains word-level and segment-level information of the whole episode and also parallel samples extracted under segments_eng and segments_spa subdirectories. Each sample is stored as an WAV audio file, text file and a CSV file containing word timing information and word-level paralinguistic and prosodic features.

FLABASE: A FLAMENCO KNOWLEDGE BASE

  • Oramas, Sergio
FlaBase (Flamenco Knowledge Base) is the acronym of a new knowledge base of flamenco music. Its ultimate aim is to gather all available online editorial, biographical and musicological information related to flamenco music. A first version is just being released. Its content is the result of the curation and extraction processes. FlaBase is stored in JSON format, and it is freely available for download. This first release of FlaBase contains information about 1,102 artists, 74 palos (flamenco genres), 2,860 albums, 13,311 tracks, and 771 Andalusian locations. Data was compiled and curated from different sources: Wikipedia, DBpedia, Andalucia.org, elartedevivirelflamenco.com, MusicBrainz, flun.cica.es/index.php/grabaciones/base-datos-grabaciones and juntadeandalucia.es/institutodeestadisticaycartografia/sima

HOME-TO-SCHOOL PEDESTRIAN MOBILITY GPS DATA FROM A CITIZEN SCIENCE EXPERIMENT IN THE BARCELONA AREA

  • Larroya Paixà, Ferran
  • Perelló, Josep, 1974-
This data-set contains high resolution GPS records from a single day home-to-school pedestrian mobility of 10 schools in the Barcelona Metropolitan Area (Spain). The experiment for data acquisition took place in November 2018. The data-set provides pedestrian mobility from an age-homogeneous group of people and is particularly valuable to bring insights in an urban microscopic level and can characterize micro-mobility patterns and pedestrians’ micro-motives. The study shares processed records with specific filtering, cleaning, and interpolation procedures (83 individual journeys and 41,053 GPS records) that can facilitate and accelerate data usage. Citizen science practices were employed during the whole research process (co-design, crowd-sourced protocols for the experiment, collective data interpretation and policy recommendations).

DATASET OBTAINED FOR THE PREPARATION OF THE MANUSCRIPT "STRONG FLORAL MORPHOLOGY CONSERVATISM DURING THE RAPID DIVERSIFICATION OF THE GENUS HELIANTHEMUM" BASED ON THE ANALYSIS OF 1122 FLOWERS AND 83 HELIANTHEMUM TAXA

Premise: Divergence of floral morphology and breeding systems are often expected to be linked to angiosperm diversification and environmental niche divergence. However, available evidence for such relationships remain idiosyncratic, due to different taxonomic, geographical and time scales. The Palearctic genus Helianthemum shows the highest diversity of the family Cistaceae in terms of breeding systems, floral traits and environmental conditions, resulting from three recent evolutionary radiations occurred since the Late Miocene. Here, we investigate the tempo and mode of evolution of floral morphology in the genus, and its link with species diversification and environmental niche divergence. Methods: We quantified eighteen floral traits from 83 taxa and applied phylogenetic comparative methods using a robust phylogenetic framework based on genotyping by sequencing data. Results: The results revealed three different floral morphologies, putatively related to three different breeding systems: (i) type I, characterized by small flowers without herkogamy and low pollen to ovule ratio; (ii) type II, represented by large flowers with approach herkogamy and intermediate pollen to ovule ratio; and (iii) type III, featured by small flowers with reverse herkogamy and the highest pollen to ovule ratio. Each morphology has been highly conserved across each radiation and has evolved independently of species diversification and ecological niche divergence. Conclusions: The combined results of trait, niche and species diversification ultimately recovered a pattern of potentially non-adaptive radiations in Helianthemum and highlight the idea that evolutionary radiations can be decoupled from floral morphology evolution even in lineages that diversified in heterogeneous environments as the Mediterranean Basin., The data set includes two qualitative variables, the mean values and standard deviations of 18 quantitative variables and the type of floral morphology assigned to each species (type I, type II and type III).
