MARSIBAL-06 Cruise (29HE20061207) carried out on the Research Vessel Hespérides in 2006, MARSIBAL :"Integrated geological and geophysical studies in margins and sedimentary basins of southern Iberia. Architecture and sedimentary processes". A cluster of Holocene mounds was discovered during the recent MARSIBAL I-06 cruise (R/V BIO HESPÉRIDES, December 2006) east of Melilla in the southeastern margin of the Alboran Sea (Morocco margin). The area was investigated with swath bathymetry, high-resolution sub-bottom profiling and seismic reflection
