The database contains 2,296 alphabetically ordered adjective lemmata (rows) and 45 columns with various types of linguistic information about each lemma. The adjectives correspond to those occurring more than 50 times in a 14.5 million word fragment of the Corpus Informatitzat de la Llengua Catalana (Rafel 1994), developed at the Institut d'Estudis Catalans. The texts of this fragment were written between 1969 and 1988. The information in the columns has been semi-automatically extracted from the corpus or encoded manually.

The item is made of 2 files, of which 1 is the dataset and the other include a small description of the measured variables.-- Dataset contributed to the Project Carbochange, This dataset gathers discrete measurements of CO2 (pH and alkalinity) and hydrographic variables (salinity, temperature, dissolved oxygen, nitrate, phosphate and silicate) obtained during the cruise CAIBOX 2009 carried out from 25 July to 13 August 2009. pH was measured spectrophotometrically following the Clayton and Byrne (1993). This method consists on adding a dye solution to the seawater sample, so that the ratio between two absorbances at two different wavelengths is proportional to the sample pH. Alkalinity was measured using an automatic potentiometric titrator Titrando 809 Metrohm, with a Metrohm 6.0232.100 combination glass electrode and a Pt-1000 probe for temperature measurement following the methodology given by Pérez and Fraga (1987). Dissolved oxygen was analyzed following the widely applied Winkler method. ATOS-2 Cruise (29HE20090124) carried out on the Research Vessel Hespérides in 2009, ATOS project: Atmospheric inputs of organic carbon and pollutans to the polar ocean: rates, significance and outlook. "Quantify the atmospheric contributions of organic carbon and pollutants to the polar oceans, both those that occur at present and those that occurred in the last century and that have accumulated in the sea ice, being currently contributed to the ocean due to the melting of the ice in the poles. 1. Quantifying the atmospheric inputs of organic carbon and key organic pollutants both in aerosol and gaseous phases. 3. Evaluating the fate of the materials, by assessing their use by biota and transference up the food webs. 4. CARIBE-NORTE Cruise (29HE20090405) carried out on the Research Vessel Hespérides in 2009, Analysis of contact between the Caribbean and North American plates, from the Beata ridge (Dominican Republic) to the Anegada Passage. The cruise collected multibeam bathymetry, gravity, magnetic, high-resolution seismic and three-channel seismic reflection data. A set of 5 OBS were anchored along that transect on both sides of the Beata Ridge and 2 seismic land stations at the Beata and Alto Velo Islands, recorded continuously the airgun shots provided by the R/V Hesperides
