CRAC Cruise (29GD20000913) carried out on the Research Vessel García del Cid in 2000, The objective of the campaign is to make precise determinations of sea level using light buoys with GPS antennas at the time of the passage of the altimetric satellites ERS-2 and TOPEX / POSEIDON. As a complement, CTD stations will be made (without taking samples from water) and continuous radial with ADCP and Nu-Shuttle along some of the traces of these satellites

MIDAS-1 Cruise (29GD20011002) carried out on the Research Vessel García del Cid in 2001, Microwave radiometric measurements and development of algorithms for the SMOS mission.It involves anchoring 2 meteorological / oceanographic buoys and 2 measuring salinity buffers over a depth of 165 m. In addition, some salinity profiles must be realigned with the CTD probe. All this as a support to measurements with radiometers that will be carried out for 30 days from the CASABLANCA platform. The buoys must be collected after 35 days

OMEGA-ALGERS Cruise (29HE19960930) carried out on the Research Vessel Hespérides in 1996, "Three-dimensional spatial variability and temporal mesoscale instabilities, meanders and eddies filaments " 1) Study of the temporal variability and three-dimensional structure of a mesoscale meander in the Alboran Sea, to determine the associated ageostrophic circulation and the control it exerts over biological structures and processes. 2) Quantification of the differences between the results obtained by different methods of objective spatial analysis (isobaric and isopicnic) and estimation of the margin of error of derived variables such as vertical velocity. 3) Study of the temporal variability and three-dimensional structure of the instabilities of the Algerian Current, its relationship with the temporal evolution obtained by remote sensing, and the influence of these developed plentiful instabilities (anticyclonic eddies) on the distribution of Modified Atlantic Water and the processed of fertilization

MATER is a project involving 50 research teams from 15 European countries. Through extensive experimental work and physical and ecological modeling, MATER addresses the comprehensive study of the Mediterranean with the following global objectives: -To study and quantify the processes that trigger and control the transfer of mass and energy between the different compartments of the Mediterranean system, and in different environments.- To evaluate the temporal and spatial scales of phenomena in certain structures and regions of the Mediterranean.- To investigate the ecosystem response to these transfers and their evolution over time
