DATABASE OF PUBLICATIONS ON PLATFORM WORK WITH A GENDER PERSPECTIVE

  • Galan Julve, Susana Maria
  • Segura Heras, Cristina
Database of publications, including preprints, reports, conference papers, articles, book chapters and books, examining platform work and the platform economy with gender perspective. Data compiled through Google Scholar to promote the inclusivity of the sources as well as additional materials references in the identified publications. Includes publications in English, Spanish/Catalan, and German. The initial database includes materials published between 2016 and 2023.

EXPERIMENTAL DATA OF A STUDY ON FIRST LANGUAGE ACQUISITION

  • Keidel Fernandez, Alejandra
  • Anna Gavarró Algueró

Dataset Abstract for Experiments on Catalan Syntactic Parsing Abilities This dataset encompasses raw data from a series of experimental studies designed to investigate the syntactic parsing abilities of Catalan-speaking children and infants, specifically focusing on subject-verb agreement. The collection includes data from three distinct experiments:

1. Sentence-Picture Matching Tasks for Children Aged 3 to 6: Data from tasks where children were asked to match sentences to pictures, assessing their ability to identify singular versus plural subjects in both overt and null-subject sentences. The dataset includes responses from 53 participants across varied conditions, including control, full DP (Determiner Phrase)and pronominal subject singular and plural, and null subject singular and plural scenarios.

2. Eye-Tracking Data from Infants: Recorded using Tobii Pro X3-120, this dataset captures the gaze patterns of Catalan-speaking and German-speaking infants aged 14 to 32 months as they were exposed to videos depicting actions with singular and plural subjects, corresponding to auditory stimuli that varied in subject presence (full DP versus null subjects) and number (singular versus plural). The dataset includes detailed gaze duration and fixation data during baseline and sentence exposure windows, offering insights into early syntactic parsing abilities.

3. Numerical Distractor Experiment: A follow-up experiment to the first, incorporating numerical distractors (e.g., "three ducks are running") to explore the influence of explicit number cues on syntactic parsing. This dataset includes responses from 58 participants, detailing performance across similar conditions to the first experiment but with the addition of fillers featuring numerals.
