A hybrid storage solution is defined as that able to integrate and maximize the performance of a heterogeneous grouping of battery types. The methodology relays on a step-by-step analysis of field data collected from the area at which the hybrid solution is intended to be connected to. It also considers diverse restrictions related to available budget, technical constraints related to the different technologies included, and business and future exploitation aspects. A study case based on a real demonstration is presented to validate the proposed methodology.
