Numerous programs have been set up to support women entrepreneurs on the basis that inequality results from incompatibilities between gendered emotional culture and the affective governmentality of the entrepreneurial paradigm. In the context of Spanish entrepreneurial training programs, this article identifies technologies of the self in young women's narratives of successful entrepreneurship. Using a crossed-narrative approach, as part of three case studies, we conducted 14 interviews with program participants and 6 with program trainers. The analysis shows that, to overcome their supposed deficiencies, the participants understood that female entrepreneurialism required unlimited efforts to self-modulate their emotional dispositions. The analysis identified three broad cultural narratives that frame entrepreneurialism as an epic quest, a vocation or calling, and a ludic pursuit of pleasure. Each of these provides an interpretative frame within which the limitless efforts demanded of feminized entrepreneurialism were resemanticized into three moral values that characterized the story protagonists (heroism, sacrifice, passion). En el presente artículo sintetizamos los aportes foucaultianos relevantes para esclarecer procesos de (auto)subjetivación desde una perspectiva psicosocial y crítica. Nos centramos en la noción de técnicas de sí destacando los elementos analíticos que Foucault establece para su estudio, así como la necesidad de historizarlas y leerlas desde el presente. La gubernamentalidad neoliberal imprime un carácter central al trabajo sobre sí y, en esa medida, hemos resaltado el papel de estas técnicas en su interacción con técnicas de dominio y explorado su sustancia ética, modo de sujeción, trabajo ético y telos. La actualización de tales herramientas nos ha llevado a considerar también las condiciones de posibilidad de su ejercicio, destacando en este sentido los discursos sociales que codifican la identidad, el sustrato coactivo y precarizador actual de la racionalidad neoliberal, la dimensión pragmática de los dispositivos y las dinámicas socioafectivas que inducen la adhesión a la lógica neoliberal. Cerramos la exposición con una reflexión en relación con las resistencias en estos dispositivos de subjetivación., In this article, we provide a synthesis of the most relevant Foucauldian contributions, aimed at
elucidating processes of (self-)subjectivation from a psychosocial and critical perspective. We
focus on the notion of techniques of the self, highlighting the analytical elements that Foucault
establishes for their study, as well as the need to historicise them and understand them from
the present. Neoliberal governmentality makes work on the self-central and, as such, we have
highlighted the role of techniques of the self in their interaction with techniques of domination
and explored their ethical substance, mode of subjection, ethical work and telos. The
actualisation of these tools has also led us to consider the conditions of possibility of their
exercise, emphasising in this sense the social discourses that codify identity, the current
coercive and precarious substratum of neoliberal rationality, the pragmatic dimension of the
devices and the socio-affective dynamics that induce adherence to neoliberal logic. We close
