The dataset includes bank-level financial variables, variables related to FinTech lending, and macroeconomic indicators, as well as indicators related to the legal and institutional environment of countries. It contains information derived from databases such as ORBIS Bank Focus (Bureau van Dijk) and other publicly available sources, and it allows for the replication of the empirical analyses presented in the article “Digital disruptors at the gate.
