NUMERICAL MODEL FOR SIMULATING CO2 INJECTION IN DEEP VOLCANIC AREAS

  • Vilarrasa, Víctor
This dataset is composed of the input files of the numerical model for simulating CO2 injection in deep volcanic areas. The file “GCS_volcanoes_gen.dat” contains the input data of the model, including material properties, initial and boundary conditions and the time intervals. The file “GCS_volcanoes_gri.dat” includes the information on the mesh. The “root.dat” includes the name of the model. To run the simulation, just execute the Code_Bright executable “Cb_v9_3.exe” in a folder that contains the three input files and the executable., This dataset is composed of the input files of the numerical model for simulating CO2 injection in deep volcanic areas. The data file contains data on Canary Island date palms Phoenix canariensis located in public gardens within Palma city and monitored between 2011 and 2017. We coded yearly observations on each palm (first seven columns on the excel file) into individual histories using the four following codes: 1 = palm tree apparently healthy (i.e. with no signs of weevil infestation); 2 = palm tree infested by red palm weevil and treated with a partial pruning (i.e. curative treatment); 3 = palm tree infested by red palm weevil and treated with a total cut (i.e. destructive treatment);0 = palm tree that no longer exist due to a destructive treatment applied the previous year. Columns 8 to 15 indicate the individual covariates used as linear predictors of infestation probabilities: the number of palms (P. canariensis and P. dactylifera) within a 500 m radius from each palm monitored. We sorted palms into public (“public”, i.e. those directly managed by the city council) and private (“priv”), differentiating in this last case between palms under the responsibility of other governmental entities (e.g. schools, namely “ent”) and those belonging to particular owners in private areas (e.g. hotels or other private gardens, namely “part”)., This dataset was used to analyze the infestation probabilities of Canary Island date palms by Red palm weevils., We acknowledge financial support through projects ‘Vicenç Mut’ PD/003/2016 and Ramón y Cajal RYC-2017- 22796., Peer reviewed

We study different samples of single-crystalline MZFO nanoparticles with average diameters ranging between 8 to 80 nm, and demonstrate that the smallest particles are homogeneously magnetized. However, with increasing nanoparticle size, we observe the transition from a uniform to a nonuniform magnetization state. Field-dependent results for the correlation function confirm that the internal spin disorder is suppressed with increasing field strength. The experimental SANS data are supported by the results of micromagnetic simulations, which confirm an increasing inhomogeneity of the magnetization profile of the nanoparticle with increasing size. The results presented demonstrate the unique ability of SANS to detect even very small deviations of the magnetization state from the homogeneous one., UE, programa H2020, Proyecto AMPHIBIAN n º 720853., Dataset description: >>> EXPERIMENTAL DATA folder "XRD data" containes the XRD patterns of all the samples presented in the manuscript folder "Magnetic data" containes the M(H) curves of all the samples presented in the manuscript measured at room temperature in a field range of 5 T folder "TEM data" containes the TEM images of all the samples presented in the manuscript >>> SIMULATED DATA prb_mzfo_fig10.png Microstructures used in the micromagnetic simulations. A.A., N.R.G., C.E.L., E.T.A., J.C., D.K-J., N.M., P.M., J.M.P., and J.S-G. constructed the exotic species impacts data set. S.B. and J.S-G., compiled the exotic species range-of-origin dataset and G.J. compiled and analyzed the observed and projected ocean temperature data. S.B. and J.S-G performed the data analyses with contributions from all coauthors., Here we provide data on the ecological impacts of exotic marine species on recipient native ecosystems and characterise the thermal niche of both the recipient sites and each exotic species range of origin (RO). In addition, we provide the summertime warming trajectories of the recipient sites under RCP4.5 and RCP8.5 emission scenarios. Together, this dataset characterises the ecological impacts of exotic marine species and the climatic context under which these impacts occur. Overall this database represents 108 studies that have measured impacts of exotic species on recipient marine ecosystems where they were introduced, encompassing 748 observations from 80 sites and 50 species, ranging from primary producers (e.g. seagrass, macroalgae) to predators (e.g. fish, crustaceans, annelids)., S.B. received funding from the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 659246. S.B., J.S-G and N.M. received funding from the Spanish Ministry of Economy, Industry and Competitiveness (MedShift, CGL2015-71809-P) and Fundación BBVA (project Interbioclima). J.M.P. received funding from the Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence for Coral Reef Studies (CE140100020). D.K.-J. received funding from the Independent Research Fund Denmark (CARMA; 8021-00222B)., Peer reviewed
