Thermometric measurements (ºC) were obtained from 8 Eurasian eagle-owls (Bubo bubo) using a repeated measures design in anesthetized individuals under an ambient temperature of 27 °C. Esophageal and cloacal temperatures were recorded using thermistor probes. In addition, infrared thermography was used to measure temperatures in the eye (entire eye, including medial, central, and lateral zones) and in the entire feet, with the aim of identifying the highest temperature within each region of interest.

This dataset contains the responses of 152 secondary school pupils (64 in Spain and 88 in Morocco) to a questionnaire on the social perception of science and technology, adapted from FECYT’s studies on the social perception of science. The instrument, administered in Spanish (with Arabic support for the Moroccan sample) via an online form, collects sociodemographic data, interests and self-reported information on various subject areas, cultural and media consumption habits, opinions and attitudes towards science and technology, and a test comprising 31 dichotomous items on basic scientific concepts (astronomy, biology, physics, chemistry and geology). Based on the raw responses, composite scales were constructed for interest, information, knowledge, opinion and attitudes towards science, with their corresponding reverse-scored versions, grouped by country.
